    How did you adjust the pressure relief? I have 2 TP dumps in family and both do the same thing. I assumed that they just couldn't lift more as I know I was carrying a max rated load, evenly distributed.

      I contacted the pump manufacturer and they shipped me a pressure relief valve with a higher rating for free

    Sounds like when it gets to the third stage it's low on fluid. While you take some off the back. In that amount of time fluid will drain back into the tank and then allow it to go on up. Just a thought.

    • @ChrisTijerina
      @ChrisTijerina  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s what I thought at first too, so I filled the tank completely full, and it did not solve the problem. The only thing that solved the problem was changing the pressure relief valve to a higher pressure.

      @@danielschuld3398 I've never had an issue with the cylinder having not enough available fluid. Only issue I had was the pressure relief valve was preventing the pump from lifting up the 3rd stage of the cylinder with a heavy load.

  • @jamesrussell6870

    Each stage becomes progressively less, final stage being weakest. Stubborn load not dumping pushed final stage past max capacity? What brand trailer is this?

      Texas pride's video here on TH-cam shows that this trailer with this hydraulic setup can dump a completely full load, it turned out to be the pressure relief valve on the pump that was causing the problem. This trailer needs to be able to dump a full load regardless of whether it's in the front back or middle

      @Dirtpoorhomesteader ปีที่แล้ว

      Pono. You have no idea what you are talking about. The most difficult part of the lift was already done by the time the third stage of the cylinder wouldn’t engage. The first couple feet are the most difficult for any dump trailer and that lift was well past the midpoint.

Here is the definition of taking a argument from authority “An argument from authority is when someone uses an authority's words,( kind of like you owning 5 million dump trailers) not their reasoning, to justify an argument. The argument from authority is a logical fallacy because, at the end of the day, an authority's opinion is just an opinion. Evidence needs to be paired with opinion.” (Otherwise it’s just another armpit)

    • @ChrisTijerina
      @ChrisTijerina  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No that was not the issue, if you load a trailer too heavy in the rear, it will fishtail and be extremely dangerous to tow on the road. The issue was that the hydraulic pump had the wrong pressure relief valve installed in it. Once I installed the correct pressure relief valve, the trailer was able to fully lift all the way up even with the heavy load at the front of the trailer.
