Hydrox 1908 debut is an American brand that was manufactured before Oreo's 1912 debut. In fact Oreo's was a knockoff of Hydrox which was vastly superior in taste and texture. Oreo won the cookie wars because of better marketing, Mass production tech, Cheaper pricing and being able to corner store marketing. I don't know what you ate because Keebler bought Sunshine in 1999 which was the last year they were made then Kelloggs bought it which owns Oreos and effectively killed it Forever.
This is definitely the unaddressed issue in this video. Once Hydrox upped their game, they vastly improved and became the superior cookie again. Oreos have sweeter filling and a coarser cookie which make them better for dunking... but Hydrox is all about the cookie itself.

I have heard there’s different kinds of knock offs in China. Some are like fourth shift knock off‘s where the assembly line producing a product continues producing extra products after the required amount of an order has been filled. The product quality isn’t always exactly the same all the way throughout, they may use slightly cheaper components where it really counts and it’s hard to tell. The other rip off is the reverse engineer, they take a product dismantle it and basically try to duplicate it based on the way it looks. These are definitely bad, metallurgy and product durability are absolutely not taken into account
Yup. Late to the game, but that's what a "night shift" means in China. Often you also see factories stopping their relationship with a western company, starts a domestic company of their own and just continuing to manufacture the original product. But also... like.. how "western" companies often come up with "new ideas" - they just go shopping for something that's already out in Shenzhen and slap a western brand badge on it, often marketing it as like revolutionary. So there's that. With tech China is just 10 years ahead. And it's deeper than "copying", it's part of the philosophy there - to "master" something you replicate what the masters are doing. When you can do that perfectly, then it's start to make something of it's own. Also also... if we all just think of it as sharing, it's good for everyone. Sharing instead of stealing. Like many big brands spend about 1/3d of their budget just protecting ip's. When they could just see it as a reason to further innovate. Someone "stole" your idea? Well, manufacture it better or continue innovating. Wired did an excellent documentary about Shenzen a while ago.

CORRECTION: Michaelsoft Bindows is actually a typo done by a JAPANESE marketing firm while advertising for Microsoft Windows about two decades ago. In Japanese, they have an entire alphabet for foreign words, and the entire language lacks a V sound, and L and R are the same sound which is a mix of the two. They also only have a W sound when connected to an AH sound directly afterwards. The alphabet used for foreign words reflects this as well. So Michaelsoft Bindows and Microsoft Windows are actually written the exact same way in Japanese: マイクルソフト・ビンドーズ (maikurusofuto, Bindo-zu). I presume the agency that created the add got their translation back into English from Japanese of an English word wrong, and not being able to read English themselves, didn't know to correct it. Aside from that great video!
This katakana phonetic confusion between L/R is also the origin of the term "Engrish" - my favorite one of these was back when I was working for a rather large Japanese company and they decided to print an English version of their company annual report to show how international they were. They were all handed out - and then about 10 minutes later someone started running around trying to collect them all. We managed to retain a few copies, though, and proceeded to look through them to try and figure out what the error was - it was right in the double-page spread in the middle of the document - this was a montage of various product photographs with a single word printed in 30% grey over them, intended to exemplify the core aim of the company. The word was "QUARITY".
I have a serious eye on the BJ 40 and L. Sure the engine may be a little on the low side but the Jeep engine is also a lot more than some people will need or want. Imagine the gas bill for that engine. We have the BAIC X25 in my country and it is well built and contending well so far. The BJ 40 might deserve a chance.
So here's a fun fact: BYD, who built the CLK knock-off, now build Electric Bus drivetrain and chassis combinations for the most popular all-electric Bus configuration in the UK, the BYD ADL Enviro200EV. They have been in daily service for several years already, and by all accounts, they're pretty solid.

Long story short: If it's Chinese it's probably got a 2 point-something inline 4-cylinder...

Drivers like them, operators in the heavily-congested capital city London have purchased them, and they appear to be getting on not so bad.

yes correct, known in Australia as a Holden Astra. However I agree definitely from GM design. Known in Europe as Opel in Australia as Holden. However Holden Australian made cars stopped production last year. Even Ford closed. Now we don't design or build cars anymore considering we built large powered vehicles that handled so well that the Ford Mustangs platform is from Ford Australia design and the Chevy Camaro gets it's wheelbase from Australian Commodore Coupe (MONARO).
