      susantyrellfans - GREAT question Susan. I purchase a license for use of the copyrighted music I sometimes will use at live events. However, digital distribution is handled differently in the legal sense. Hence the advertisement that appears on that video when it plays. If I don't acknowledge that the intellectual property of the artist and agree to have the advertisement play during this video, then it would not be permissible under TH-cam guidelines. As an Intellectual Property (IP) creator - I'm fully in favor of this and respect the IP rights of the artist as well as the music label that produces the song. AND, would encourage you all to purchase this great track :-) at the store of your choice.
