Somehow the end music just doesn't sound the same without the: ba da bum bum, ba ba... shooting those yellow orbs around the tree. If you know what I'm talking about, congrats, you're ace at this game.
@@pinkythepinkslime6170 Defeating the final boss was so frustrating to begin with. It starts off alright but then the final boss does an attack towards the end where several lights come up around it in a circle which it blasts you with. Because of the colour of these I thought you had to use the homing laser to knock em out but every time i tried to i would not get them all and still get hit unless I had a special saved up and even then it wasn't enough. It wasn't until I watched another playthrough where you use the autocannon (rapid fire/secondary weapon) to knock out those lights. Felt amazing when I beat it and then saw the end.
if your on spotify and want to listen to this song, check out the "GLORIOUS REMIX" of "Heavenly star" by Genki rockets, this song is amazing, ive never played the game tho
I just noticed that at 7:00 she's actually singing a broken up repeated line from the song "Let's get away fly" since it's broken up, it's "Let's get aw-"
Man, i really need similar music! How can music be so uplifting and beautiful, especially the part at 8:18, carries me far, far away on waves of euphoria....
Whoa, did anyone else realize that it's a remix of Heavenly Star by Genki Rockets? I've never played Child of Eden so I don't know if there's a reason for that, but good songs, both of them.
Actually, almost all the music in the game is remixes of Genki Rockets songs! Mainly because the only named character in the game is the mascot of the band, and the main focus of the songs, Lumi! I think, anyways.
I know I'm ten years late, but yeah this game (Child of Eden) tells the story of Lumi, the fictional singer of Genki Rockets. The story in question is actually a little sad
Crap...sorry for the vote down, I didn't mean to. But yes there is a reason for that. Tetsuya Mizuguchi (forgive the spelling) is the creator of the game Child of Eden. This game contains music from Genki Rockets. IN WHICH: He is a band member of. I don't know that is the reason. But it is a theory of mine and does somewhat fit the game... Also: The Girl (Either named Lumi or Eden...most likely both) you are trying to save: The Lead Vocal's of Genki Rockets.
Too true. I'd be fine if they were going to add DLC at some point but seeing as it's been out for over a year and no announcements so far, it looks unlikely. 8-12 stages though would've been far better or rather this game should've been an Xbox Live Arcade title.

Yeah, even GETTING to the tree stage in Journey was absolute heck.

I know this comment is 10 years old, but this style of music is called Vocal Trance
@datyeen Tsym omg I needed that
8:18 if it not appears in the Comment
They sampled heavenly stars in every possible way
Long live lumi
I always wondered where the corruption came from, I assume hackers XD
This stage was actually kind of hard for me but it was damn well worth it!
Journey heavily samples "Heavenly Star" by Genki Rockets, who also perform the last song, "Flow."
The entire game is based on Genki Rockets

@zafdragon
And that kind of comments get old men saying "AUDIO-DRUGS! KIDS ARE DOING AUDIO-DRUGS ON THE INTERWEBZ!!!"
8:18 ...
Thanks so much!!!!! LOVE THIS ARCHIVE!!! :) :)
I'm pretty sure the song at 8:18 is "Heavenly Star (Count Down Remix)"
@JexMavik Google "destructoid child of eden wallpaper"
That's not all of the extra images but there are a bunch there.

That was my thought too! I always thought the lyrics were being sung by Lumi too!
im singing this for our chior class :D
At 8:18 it sounds like this track would fit right in the movie summer wars
@AkiraTenshi It's called "Flow."

I swear that girl who was singing is in No More Heroes. When you go into Area 51, a clothing store, this song plays. Same voice same lyrics.
It is.
Tell me how to download it or just give me a more speific download link
Good part starts here: 10:30
Rachel Rhodes is a goddess of the future. No denying it.
I've beaten the end of the game even that it was easy for me:)
Do the ooga booga dance! 2:35
Where can I get that background that's in the video?
it would probably bee more effects and and visuals but not more stages...play time is the same as REZ
5:56 :)
What is the song called at the end?
Heavenly Star
Flow
ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz.......
Oh crap! i just slept on the Z button -_-"
