    As someone who served but not in the Australian Military: Much respect for this!

    Looking forward to seeing the Rheinmetall KF41 Lynx running around once the M113 buckets are retired, and a few Hanwha AS9 SPHs to get the artillery mobile and protected. It’s amazing how far the army has come since East Timor. You wouldn’t recognise it.

    Fantastic to see what has happened in the Army since I was running around in K89. Just looking at a picture of myself in greens at Singleton. Now life has flown by after medically discharged and on a bloody Dva card with my service sitting in a empty house hating everyday that I’ve been thrown into a civilian world. As I miss it everyday. But shit have things improved with gear. But I do feel for those that are being played with by politicians. Just never pull the pin without really thinking and looking at what’s on the outside. As I would give my bloody right foot to be still there and only made retire for getting to long in the tooth and in the way. As you all are looking bloody amazing and a true bunch of arse kickers to any one checking up on our military via news and media. As i probably sound like a old school Digger just giving words of wisdom, that just gives you all a laugh. But it gives me a bit of a kick to see the part of me that still can say I took my oath and signed the line that so many would never take on the job or pick field force positions. Yet have so much bullshit to one minute want to pat you on the back right up till the media die the attention down when they feel there sense of security. Then slide back into the old lets cut funds here and there change rules and add changes that are obviously not practical in real life in this PC and OHAS out side looking in world. But stand tall train hard fight harder as it is my only positive thing I can say (yet love my kids and new grand kids even though they don’t understand what happened in there old mans head) that I was once an Australian Army Infantry soldier a bloody proud of it. Have a laugh at the old fella spilling some words out the hole under his nose. But stay strong to you all watch ya brothers as they watch out for you. As your doing this country and those before you proud. Now piss off and have a good one. 👍😎🇦🇺

    Where are the Alpha jets from?

    • @harveysteele6473
      @harveysteele6473 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They are ex-German Air Force and are crewed and maintained by the RAAF to simulate Red Air elements

      Harvey Steele also do some CAS training if I’m not mistaken

      apparently they are crewed and maintained by private companies: Air Affairs and DA Defence not by RAAF. although they are located at a RAAF base

    Quick question does the first brigade contain army commando?

    • @HankProductions
      @HankProductions  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Tanner Murphy, no the Commando’s are separate to the Combat Brigades and utilized where and when required. Thanks for watching!

      were those POWS commandos?

    • @HankProductions
      @HankProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Jackson, missed this question sorry... no they were not commando's, they were regular Army soldiers playing a role to simulate Captured Personnel for training. thanks for watching!
