I think this is hilarious, especially Crow at the end: "Must not hate; at least so overtly. Must disguise our hate." So typical of Crow's dark, twisted outlook.
"I sure hope they never aried this episode in Canada." As a Canadian, I wish they would air this EVERY WEEK. It's easily the best non-Canadian-made Canadian-themed episode EVER (aside from the How I Met Your Mother episode "Robin Sparkles").
Now Canada, like every other country, has it's problems On that, I think you all must agree But if there's one thing that they did right, now it's just my opinion At least they gave us Colin Mochrie

*Hilarious In Hindsight Moment:* When this episode aired, Canada's Prime Minister was Jean Chrétien, a Quebecois. But as I write this in 2014, the current PM, Stephen Harper, actually is from Alberta. So… that joke is funnier today than it was then.
SERVO: Oh I wish I was back in old Canada, A land which I never shall lampoon! How I pine for the ice covering Lake Manitoba, And the beauty that is Saskatoon! (Mike: Oh, I got one.) Hey, I'm from Wisconsin and we got hit pretty hard in The Giant Spider Invasion episode. Everyone gets a turn. Oh and I'm not fat. Cheese, beer and bacon in moderation. That's the key.
Much like The Simpsons this show spent most of its time making fun of itself and America and when it made fun of other countries it was doing it through the lense of stereotypical American ignorance, so none of it should be taken personally. Just repeat to yourself "It's just a show..."
Or those third world nations that don't just exist in Africa even though those are the only ones people care about, without even knowing a single specific name for one.
I have to admit..every time I see this clip I bust out laughing. This show was and still is a cult classic. It's one of those shows u can watch over and over and still laugh at the same funny parts. Reminds me of watchin corny movies with my friends and adding our own dialog.
This whole episode of 'The Final Sacrifice' is by far the best MST3K ever. Shame that Tjardus Greidanus (who came from a long line of Greidanuses) sued them for copyright strike and had to remove the episode from web streaming platforms. But, I still have it saved on my hard drive ;)
In two verses Servo goes from singing about how much he loves Canada to singing about how he wants to blow it up. This is the ultimate "That escalated quickly"
I've got nothing against Canada; I've wanted to visit there for years. But I love Tom Servo's sudden switch from praise to irrational hate; friggin hiliarious. MSTK3 Rules!!!!.....that is all.
They rip on American, British, Italian, Russian, Japanese, and Mexican movies for ten years, and no one complains. But they mock ONE Canadian film and everyone flips their lids. Well, two Canadian films, "Zombie Nightmare" was made in Canada.
Boy, this brings back memories. I just got done watching the MST3K holiday Rifftracks Extravaganza at my local Cinema tonight. What an awesome performance these guys gave. :)
Hey, at least some canadians are actually admitting the song is true! (I'm just kidding, you guys are awesome. I'm planning a trip sometime in February, any good places to stop along the road?)
I have the episode that this is from and I am loving this one!!! Can't stop watching it over and over again! Jack Forst was a good one but that is a diffrent episode lol
Me when I first saw this episode: Hahaha this is friggin funny, especially when Servo goes full radicalist. Me now when rewatching it and seeing Canadian's flashing morse code at the border they are in trouble: Hahahaha I love this part of the movie! Can't wait til we get to the explosion scenes!
As a Canadian I am shocked and appalled by this song! Except for the part about Allanis Morisette, and the Prime Minister, and Francaphones, and Alberta, and Beer, and Peter Jennings,...but Tom Servo wearing a RCMP uniform is a disgra,...come to think of it, it was kinda cute.
I don't usually physically laugh at things, but this made me laugh (I'm Canadian, incidentally). Even so, the joke isn't so much about Canada--although the Canada jokes were funny, especially with reference to the Prime Minister--as it is about Tom Servo going overboard with his anger.
Of course, later on, (or earlier, can't remember where "Final Justice" placed around this one), Crow went into the seering tirade against Maltese men. I haven't shown this one to my girlfriend (from Nova Scotia), but I'm sure she'd get a laugh out of it.
Personally I think Canada should adopt this as their national anthem.
That would be The Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen, though.
The "lousy stinking francophonic bacon-loving bastards" bit always cracks me up really hard. XD
Pardonnez-moi! Pardonnez-moi!
"Yikes."

I have to say that Kevin Murphy does some excellent puppetwork here. I love how Servo starts trembling with rage during his tirade.
Kevin Murphy rulz
And how the music goes all out of sync too
You francophonic, bacon-loving bastards... one of the best lyrics of all time
Your country's just a giant piece of sh-
Speaking as a Canadian, this is possibly the funniest the show has ever been. I love how Tom freaks out and goes completely over the line.
He has no sense of proportion - he's a disgrace to his uniform...
His enraged shaking is absolutely adorable
I love how Tom's singing goes into an enraged vibrato in points before going fully into tuneless shouting!
Mike’s face.
I love it when Tom starts blubbering at the end. "I have no sense of proportion!"
I recently spent some time in Canada. It was an enjoyable trip to a lovely country, but I couldn’t get this song out of my head the whole time.
I love Mike's face when Tom starts singing about wanting to cause the destruction of Canada.
Now Canada, like every other country, has it's problems
On that, I think you all must agree
But if there's one thing that they did right, now it's just my opinion
At least they gave us Colin Mochrie
It was a good try. The meter was a little off, and Mochrie actually came from Scotland, but good effort. I don't see anyone else trying...
Sure, but he moved to France when he was seven, and Canada when he was twelve, so he still qualifies, if you ask me.
Good try, Commander. I couldn't get the rhythm suitable, myself, but good try.
Never found Colin Mochrie funny.
@@colemanadamson5943 Humor is subjective. There's no comedian in the world that everybody finds funny.

After hearing the joke on the Time Chasers episode that Vermont was the other smaller Wisconsin, I joked that Minnesota is the other smaller Canada.

"At least not so overtly."
1:50 Crow looks right at the camera - "Yikes!"
Lord, those guys were brilliant.
I am a proud Canadian and I LOVE this...it is an honour to be lampooned by MST3K...never get tired of this

I'm Canadian and LOVE this song! It's friggin' hilarious! One of my favorite episodes of MST3k.
It's *my favorite*, and I love Canada to death!
Hey, I'm from Wisconsin and we got hit pretty hard in The Giant Spider Invasion episode. Everyone gets a turn. Oh and I'm not fat. Cheese, beer and bacon in moderation. That's the key.
I'm a huge Rush fan and even I laughed at their rush jokes
Obviously pre-Nickelback & Bieber, but still funny.
Yes - before the Dark Times...
Man, I wish I could find this episode somewhere. Final Sacrifice was the best episode imo.
Oh it's out there, matey!
I purchased the episode on Prime and it's STILL in my library so...if ya wanna come over. 🤷♂️
I'm a disgrace to my uniform, pardone moi, pardone moi.
Priceless video.
Can Tom be more adorable? I love when he puts on a costume, just darling.
That is something they missed in the reboot.
Agree. This outfit is one of his cutest but doesnt quite top the dungeon master one for me!
So when will Canada adopt this beautiful score as their new national anthem?
As a proud Canadian citizen, let me tell you Americans this:
That was a hilarious clip. I was so ROFLMFAO over it. XD
LOL "I'm a disgrace to my uniform!"
Oh Tom, I could never stay mad at you.
I love how Servo unravels as the song proceeds.
That is what makes the song perfect.
I'm Canadian and I find this hilarious every time. :D
Supposedly Rush are huge MST3K fans. lol Thank God this is finally on DVD!!!
Really? Cool.
This is awesome!
Sincerely, a proud inhabitant of the hills of Alberta :P

Americans are a very self deprecating and good natured people that do irony very well, despite foreign stereotypes to the contrary.
Speak for yourself, I am a hamburger person and I am _unironically_ proud of it!
But yea America sucks. Could be worse though, we could be North Korea or Cuba!
Or those third world nations that don't just exist in Africa even though those are the only ones people care about, without even knowing a single specific name for one.

Oh baby Rowsdower saves us and saves all the world.....
He comes to save the day in a broken truck
With a stinky denim jacket on his back.
He couldn't save this movie which really sucked......
But at least we didn't have to watch him play a... hacky-sack...?
Did ya panic?
I play this every Canada Day 🤣

It's distressing how well the verse about the Prime Minister describes Stephen Harper.
I've got nothing against Canada; I've wanted to visit there for years. But I love Tom Servo's sudden switch from praise to irrational hate; friggin hiliarious. MSTK3 Rules!!!!.....that is all.
I sang this the entire day today, and just HAD to watch it again. The episode is amazing, too.
"I wonder if there's beer on the sun..."
I'm a canadian, and I approve this message.
I miss Rowsdower
My friend from Canada laughed his ass off when I showed him this. Thanks for posting!

Happy Canada Day to our neighbors to the north!
Canada did give us that horrible show "Johhny Test"
And we are sorry.
marcen12 no you are not sorry
Sorry eh
Rachel N. Spaterost and Mr. Meaty.
definitely a classic, my all time favorite MST song. and there were some great ones!

A wonderful precursor to South Park's "Blame Canada."
Happy Canada Day, everyone!
Stephen Harper -wishes- he was drinking beer with Mike Nelson.
I am Canadian, and I love the hell out of this. Always have.
I'm Canadian and find this funny. I think most of MST3K is hilarious in general.
This song popped in my head right after losing to canada in hockey today.
Don’t forget about Lover Boy. Thanks a lot Canada!!
I love how the only comment rated down was the guy who said canada really doe's suck lol. Its just the Mysties being the Mysties lol
"It's okay now, Dudley, calm down, calm down."
"Pardonnez-moi, pardonnez-moi!"
@TheGraham721 I'm a Francophonic bacon-loving bastard, and I LIKED the video.
Canada did give us You Can't Do That On Television, Trailer Park Boys, and my ex-wife.
Oh well, 2 outta 3 ain't bad.
...and Kids in the Hall :)
Hey, at least some canadians are actually admitting the song is true!

Tom's little Mountie uniform is just to precious.
And how ! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Did Beez make that?
I'm Canadian, and this song was made 100 times more funny because of that.
There is no country nore self depricating than Canada!!!!
The 30 dislikes must be from Canadians without a sense of humour. I'm in Ontario and loved this :)
I am a Canadian, and I approve this song!
That was awesome, eh? Bonus points for pointing out that we have hills in Alberta. It's not ALL flat prairie! No, that would be Saskatchewan.
Kidding!
When Servo sings his tirade against Canada, I imagine that is something Justin Trudeau and his master Klaus sing on a daily basis.
I love how the music becomes more discordant as Servo loses it
I'm from Canada.
I approve of this video.
WE WILL WE WILL ROWSDOWER!
Oh my god I love Rowsdower. These guys crack me up
I'm Canadian and I liked it. :(
I am Canadian and I think this is hilarious!! It's clearly in jest!
I salute you, Canada! Carry on!
this is awesome, the best mst3k skit on the best episode too =)
final sacrifice for those who didnt know
I must admit I do miss Mystery Science Theater 3000
our state motto is L'Etoile du Nord (Star of the North) which is french, so yes. lol
Loved Servo's mountie costume! LOL XD
LOL, awesome! I'm Canadian, and I think this is funny :D Too bad the people are like, hating on each other now -_-
Not as much as they are in the year 2020....it saddens me to say. 😢👍🏾 Take care. ☮️♥️
"Pardonne moi", pardonne moi".....lol"!!!
Even Canadians love Tom Servo.
@laughingbannana It was for the movie "The Final Sacrifice". :)
Pardonnez-moi! Pardonnez-moi! lol This is hilarious. It's always important to be able to laugh at oneself as well :P
Good on you, dude. Nothing's wrong with Canada, it's just easy humor. :-)
canada doesn't need to fight the us, we just watch it cave in on itself.
