How did the ordering process go for you? Did the dealership give you a good deal or were you pretty much paying for the price that’s on the build?
@@Candisias So, here at my base, we are getting a 'fleet program' deal because one of our guys knows the fleet manager. From what I was told, the dealership is able to order us vehicle at cost plus a few dollars extra (plus the cost of any add-ons) because we are military. Of course, not all dealerships offer this and it sounds like someone is doing us a personal favor. The vehicle must be in the fleet program in order to qualify (folks have ordered Dodge Chargers and Jeep Grand Cherokees too under that program).
I went to the Ramtrucks dot com website and built about 6 different trucks with varying trims and prices before I settled on this one. For what the final MSRP is and what I'm getting it for, I saved $14k...
@@29thizzle oh nice! I’m military too. I’d really be interested in figuring out if the a dealership near my base does the same. The trim and adds on I want: I want this thing fully loaded. Nothing missing. Do they give “deals” on those types of custom factory builds, Or no?

Looks beautiful. Question on leases. I would imagine the bed would get all scuffed up / scratched from various use. How do dealers treat that on the turn in? Or do they do a spray in liner on leases or something?
We usually put that liners in at the dealership either a drop in or a spray in. Depending on the lease company they may charge for scratches in the bed

Your video sold me lol. I am slated to scoop up this exact color and trim this week. Beautiful vehicle. The one I’m about to close the deal on does NOT have the LED lights but it does have the night edition black outs.
Any idea on how much it would cost to get the LED headlights? Is that even an option I could discuss with the dealership to put in or would it be ridiculously priced after the fact vs the $995 option from factory?
Searching around I saw one internet website with just the headlight full replacement but it was over $1200, not including the fog light or tail lights!
There are of course other options to just replace the bulbs for $100-$200 but it doesn’t change the housing to the cool full LEDs look I would guess. It would just replace the bulbs which would definitely help for driving but probably wouldn’t change the aesthetics too much.
Or perhaps with the night edition does the blacked out lights make it look more streamlined even with it still being halogen? Perhaps only needing to change the bulbs would be a solid upgrade? Thanks for any guidance. I really wish the one the salesman has held for me has the premium lighting and at least one of the safety upgrades like blind spot detection. I appreciate your time.
Hey! Glad to help. You should get the from the factory. Adding them after the fact is nearly impossible. I know from experience. The wiring harnesses are different, the coding is different for vehicle options. Not worth the risk. If you want it tell your sales person to find you one with it. I have 20 on my lot in Michigan so I know they are available. Best of luck.

the LEd truck lights have issues. the body to frame mounts have issues. the Hitachi shocks are terrible.

They have weak lifters and cams shaft on that 5.7L. But other than that its a solid clean truck.

I have a 19 bighorn it has 99.9 % everything the 21 has including the extra wide back doors. Also sprayed in bed liner. Factory step rails. I'll keep my 19. Until the 22 comes out and what they have offer.

May be a great spot for the stupid keyless key that doesn't even have proximity mode on a the Big Horn. That's a missing feature to complain about! I thought we would use the CD player in our 2019, but I don't think we've ever put a CD in it in almost 2 years.
@@Retrocomputernerd proximity access would be a great option, I hope it’s available in the future on al trims.
Do you know why most rams don’t come with blind spot monitoring when it is so cheap?
Dealers have the opportunity to order it as a stand alone option but most don’t. At my store the demand is very low and most people will bend and accept the vehicle without it.
