- The iPhone 15 will be powered by the A17 chip, which is built on a new 3nm process and features a new Neural Engine that is almost as fast as some Nvidia 30 series GPUs. This will allow the iPhone 15 to perform facial recognition more accurately, improve image processing in the camera, perform more powerful machine learning tasks, and run AI models locally. The iPhone 15's new AI capabilities are a major step forward for mobile AI.

5 months later im watching this on my Ip 15 max . Because they are behind everyone and im considering changing the phone.

it's all good, but knowing how closed Apple and to what headache jailbrake they made, they will never allow any others Ai on platform and devices and rumors of them making their own is plausible. Like with Siri they never allowed Alexa from Amazon. Python definetely will be restricted also like on Ubuntu which openly called it the security problem.
We'll have to wait and see - at least in theory they're releasing lots of open source tooling for ML on M2 macs.
@@aifluxchannel Like what? They released a Stable Diffusion demo for CoreML (a proprietary API) and wrote their own GPU acceleration for Pytorch, but that's it. To my knowledge, that is the entirety of Apple's contributions to Open Source AI.
Nvidia, OpenAI, Facebook and Google aren't saints either, but they've straight-up embarrassed Apple in terms of research volume and Open Source contributions. It's a shame that Apple is the world's largest company and humanity has nothing to show for it.

interesting note about "titanium" iphone, the only titanium supplier on Earth is Russia, Boeing buying titanium also there, China reselling russing titanium in some produced form items
Agreed, however Apple has some of the best supply chain logistics in the world at this point. I wonder how much Ti they're hoarding at the moment.
@@aifluxchannel through China, which got it very cheap from Russia, funny that all chinese furniture is also from russian siberian forests (cutting trees in China is death sentence as i remember, or very long prison). I never heard about chinese titanium.

I hate Apple's closed echo system, so I hope whatever they do... fails :D
