What a routine! What's even more impressive than the slight of hand itself is that you remembered what move to do at what exact time. I struggle with tricks that are 5 minutes long and only have a handful of moves and you just deliver a whole 13 minute routine with one singular deck. Respect! I don't even want to start thinking about how your setup looked like, and keeping it in place for every single trick and always knowing when each gimmick of gaff or king or ace is at what spot and always setting up the next trick while performing the other is a great feat. I have nothing but respect for your art. You are an amazing magician! And also a pretty fun lad :)
Being able to pull that off that kind of routine on video is freaking impressive. Even the bits where I understood what you were doing were so well executed that you'd never be able to tell by looking.
Absolutely moved this routine and had so much fun watching As an amateur magician I am going to be learning from some of the lovely subtleties and taking inspiration from your handling of some moves! Also love how honest the video is with you choosing to never cut out a single sneaky moment and never even using camera angle changes to hide anything, I think it does keep it so much more enjoyable for magicians!
To be completely fair he did use a camera switch when he produced the card in his mouth while he was talking. It cut to a close up of the table so we didn't see the reason he was talking muffled.
@@benjaminpetersen1952 yes but that one is completely justified because 99% of spectators in the real world will have the same experience as the camera there.
@@JackRhodes I think none of those tricks are magician foolers (even though I wouldn't be able to just go and copy all of them), but wow would they all work great on laymen. Except for where the hell am I supposed to find a layman who's gonna watch me for over twelve minutes straight?
Amazing! OMG, the grand finale was the only part I didn't get fooled. But only because it was clear from the beginning, what has to happen and I knew where to look. Your sleight of hand is stunning. But your way of presentation is not a bit worse. Love your videos, thanks for creating and sharing them.
Beautiful routine ! I don't know if the tossing and reappearing of the cards in the back was inspired by da Ortiz, but it's always pleasant to see in a routine ! Thanks for all these incredible videos, I just discoverd your youtube channel, and I have a lot of content to catch up, which I love !
The inspiration? It's not called that when you take something and exactly copy it. Its called copying..or some might call it plagiarism! I like the move too and it's funny, but called it what it is, eh?
Why do people think this? To a magician, who practices every trick until it is almost automatic and can be done in one's sleep, to do a routine, (which is just the name for a group of tricks done together and presented in a specific order, usually of increasing complexity or mystery), is literally the bread and butter of being a magician. Yes this guy is good but not for remembering his routine! His presentation and showmanship, along with his technical skill is where I see him being impressive! All magicians should be remembering a ten trick routine no problem or they truly are poor magicians and should consider a career change.
I’ve been doing card magic since I was a kid, your sleight of hand is just absolutely beautiful! Obviously I know how you do it but it’s just soooo perfectttt! Kudos to you from another magician 🫡
Awesome slight of hand , double lifts and false shuffling. You are great at it. Just the beginning with the change of colors is still messing me up 💥 Thank you 🙏, Carlos ✝️🙏❤️😊🇺🇸
I fucking love sleight of hand shit. I know nothing about it which makes even the little things so impressive to me. Had wide eyes and a smile the whole time.
Wow..great video and definitely totally frikkin mind-blowing lol. Definitely need to learn these tricks to add to my own..tho still a learner at this stage lol..thanks again.
Well done! To be fair, it could also be impressively titled "10 best tricks you've seen, but not nearly as nicely as I've done them here" but I guess that would get a little wordy!
The pulling-the-paper-clip-off move was a tiny bit ham fisted. There was exactly zero bleed on folding the signed card. Like absolutely zero. But because the switcheroo was a bit heavy handed it didn't pop as hard as it deserved.
But since the camera is stationary, can't it just be edited through multiple takes? It's still a feat to match your movements though. I don't know .. just wondering
How it is done is not that complicated(ig, still have no idea on the 1st trick), actually pulling it off is incredible Only place where i can spot something is 10:46, and it is only because that 7 have been abused too much
Great tricks all in one long take, impressive, but it was too linear and had too much continuity. You can summarize a lot with cuts, the context is there mate. In real life you have to walk in order to check if something is in the room, but if you where given a good angle of it from the beyond. It would be a different story (or actually my point would be that it would be the same story)
Awesome magic 👍 In your other vid you mentioned people slowed stuff down to quarter speed, which I've never thought to do before. Now that I have I'm never going back - you sound hilarious, like your pissed as a fart 🤣(and I didn't spot any flashes!)
Nice idea for a routine but not clean enough. Doubles are too stiff, your ditches are transparent and clunky. Magnetic cards aren’t right for this routine either.

There was at least two decks though
Well not a singular deck...
I've watched this a few times, I'm still blown away. I mean wow. The amount of practice it must have taken has paid off. Truly master class.
This has got to be the single most honest video on the channel. Very impressive magic! ❤
First time I've been honest in a long time. Feels... eggscruciating.

Arguably I should have changed camera angles at certain points 😂 The unblinking eye of the camera is very hard to fool with misdirection...
@@JackRhodes Hahah yeah maybe, I think I know the moments you mean!

I swear if I’d been starting magic videos at the same time as you I’d have watched this video and just quit 😂
Really fantastic routine!
Well I'm glad that never happened then 😂
Thanks mate!
3:35 cheeky chap - thats not how physics works.
Love the Dani Daortiz gag :) that one never gets old
Great sleight of hand and exceptional performing. Thanks for sharing!
I was glad to help with the finale.
always a fan of one take routines, impeccable :)

Now this what you call control! Outstanding mate!
Fantastic routine mate.
Mind blowing.
This is incredible more videos like these please Jack I love your style and presentation so good 😁👍
You are an inspiration good sir, keep it coming!
My gosh! That paperclip was super sneaky there, almost couldnt tell 😳
Your moves are so clean. Seriously good stuff here.

awesome control man
As someone else mentioned, to remember 10 consecutive effects and all the moves, absolutely brilliant and very skilful.

The best 12 minutes 52 seconds I've had all week. 🙌
I think that says more about your life than it does the video mate haha

That first color change trick with the usb is fantastic I have never seen anything like that.
The first time I saw that color change, it was performed by a magician named Eric Chien on AGT. Jack did perform it beautifully though. 🫶🤗
@ 0:19 this was on pen and tellers so when you say "never seen" that's kinda of a stretch. Solid tricks tho for sure
That's the greatest card routine I've ever seen.
Love the dry humour.
:)
AAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!! You're a DEMON! I knew it all along - straight from Hades! Nice tan, though.
Only Hell's best get a tan like this... 😏
Mind thoroughly blown, even knowing some (only some) of the techniques. What a presentation! I don't envy your rehearsals.
that was crazy man
I read that as ‘that was a crazy man’ and I 100% agreed
Wow, so smooth, definitely keep it up. 💪💪👍
bloody good !!
Awesome slight of hand , double lifts and false shuffling. You are great at it.

So exited to see more of these

Brilliant routine Jack! So looking forward to spending time and learning from you at the South Tyneside international magic festival in October!
Can't wait!
Brilliant wonderful.
Very entertaining!
Cheers Keith!
Absolutely awesome! :)
Cheers!
👏 👏 👏 👏 👍 very impressive!
I came here from Instagram and love your tricks
Welcome aboard!
"We want to make sure i don't touch it" he says as he picks up the glass and continues to molest the card! 😂
Azure is a bright, cyan-blue color

Woah.......nice~~
my head hurts
Is there a tutorial for trick 4? And is it free?
starts off with a trick that millions have seen
One of the best card mechanics I've seen, I wouldn't want to play poker with him.
Very good! I figured out most of them but it was a good chain of tricks. ♠♥♦♣
Great routine, loved it. If I had to critique anything it would be that your get ready for you dl’s is kinda obvious. But with that aside, good stuff!
it's very entertaining.
Execution is pristine

Nice one
Watched this several times and still cannot work out how you do these tricks - it must be magic!
Lmao the 4:19 fake cut was somehting special
Shut that front door! 🚪 👏
It’s shut!
Great routine 800.035 clapping hands
I’m so mad and my head hurts bc I wanna know how they work so baaaaaddddd!!!!!
Nice routine 👍👍
🍺
I'm probably not going to get a response but I'd really like to know what trick 2 at 1:40 is called. That just blew my mind away
Saw the blue&red deck🤣
god of gamblers!
I'll be honest, the grand finale loses some of its impact because the strange way you remove the paper clip makes it obvious that a switch happened.
But since the camera is stationary, can't it just be edited through multiple takes? It's still a feat to match your movements though. I don't know .. just wondering

Ditching that dirty, dirty card with a USB cable. Legit.
Jason Maher brought me here.

0:19 What the heck 😧😪. I watched it at 0.25x speed and it literally changed colour! On the other hand, most of the others were just double lifts lol.

I couldn't spot a single thing that wasn't a double lift 💀
Awesome magic 👍

Is this a real trick or a camera trick?
All real my friend
As you were. A lovely colour…
Please teach me
What happened to the three of diamonds
we want reavel!!!
Lovi
I sure that he cooking sth fishy😂
Mucho abuso del doble volteo
Fake… I counted more than 10 tricks
Damn, you've caught me
This is absurd. In the best way.

Sooo fake , obviously another one of your tricks on us thick viewing public, 100% CGI 😜
CORRECT
I love his personality and performance but am SERIOUSLY cringing on his DL. uhg!!
