I had started this project with the idea to compose music for each of the races/starting cities and had begun composing for the Dark Elves. Then I noticed many people remarking on how much they'd like to hear a rendition of the original music of Kelethin and an idea formed:
Why not do both....what if there were a battle....it could be a battle both visually and musically...and with so called Real World Events planned for Everquest Next it could even possibly happen in game.
I was hooked, and this video is the result.
I'm enjoying doing these projects immensely, and have many more musical ideas some of which I've already started production on. If any of you seeing this happen to know of a good visual concept artist that would like to collaborate with me on these and other projects please post it in the remarks or contact me via TH-cam or Twitter, it would be a major help. Also, if there are others games or movies you would like to hear me do music for, post it in the remarks =)

I use several sound libraries, and for this I used the following:
EWQL Symphonic Orchestra
EWQL Symphonic Choirs
EWQL Ra
Galaxy Vintage D Steinway concert grand piano (I absolutely love this piano)
I used Presonus Studio One 2 as the DAW and Ozone 5 for mastering.
All vocal performances, instruments and percussion were performed and recorded live, no audio loops,sequences, or slices were used.

For 15 years they have written the story about the world for this game. Definitely comparable with the time it took to write The Fellowship of the Ring.
Will we look at games the same way after this game has been released?
