I managed to build a pure speed build like this, holding 1 blade. I think I clocked an average of 3100 km/h? Granted, if I took so much as a vert launch volley, I'd be utterly shredded. But the whole point of the build was encapsulated with the name: Mercury. The Messenger God. Catch it if you can, but underestimate it, you'll be torn apart. All my competitive builds were dump builds, really. Tanky as hell and all the ammo in the world, fast with high damage and minimal survivability, glass cannons, low ammo with all the highest damage weapons, or my own love for All The Homing, literal walls of missiles to carpet an area in explosive fury. I rarely built "serious builds," and the ones I did were for friends. I was hated for my love of "gunboats," but I play to have fun. If I wanted to suffer I'd go drown myself.
What's getting me is the G forces involved here. I'm having trouble estimating the time and starting speeds, but my napkin math shows several hundred Gs in any case. The worst case (0-3100km/h in .1 seconds) comes out to ~878g. Most roller coasters don't pull more than 5, and I understand humans black out around 9 You won the match, but I'm pretty sure your pilot was gruel by the end

Estimating the acceleration, if it is going from 500 to 3000 km/h in 0.1s, that gives about 700 g's... Ouch. For comparison, a person in a car crash can experience 100 g's, and a coronal mass ejection from the Sun can experience about 500 g's. (from wikipedia)

Might be a bit late now but you can actually achieve a similar level of mobility in Regulations 1.40. You'll have to ditch your blades for the fast acting ones, go for a high output generator, and equip some of the Sobrero parts for more efficiency and mobility.
I got pretty dang close to this speed. If only they could remaster this on current gen. Heck, port it to the Switch! This' d be the perfect game for LAN Play!!!
3000kph isn't that fast for a light blader. On 1.2 you can get upwards of 4200kph using an OB slash with the Virtue boosters. As I recall, the speed record, set by a featherweight build, was something like 7200kph on Destroy Cradle 03. They used a second stage QB combined with an OB off the Alliyah/O and Virtue with a right handed slash. The machine in the video is indeed a spaz and would suck to fight even with another blader, but it is by no means a "world's fastest" machine.
I'm having PTSD flashbacks of my friends designs. He did blade shit like this, had the crazy overbost jousting ac, and a design that spammed so many missiles and machine gun bullets it just made it difficult to keep up on your opponent
Absolutely loved this game. I pray 6 can be played on PC. I hope they bring back 4As style of play too. If they improve blade fighting, godly. This game made me feel like an actual Next pilot with all the practicing and tinkering with my build. I know there are fans who wanted that slow paced energy drained combat of old back (reason why ACV was trash), but this is how I loved it.

I try to explore this on my own but could'nt find the secrets, is this like a mod or is it possible to do it in the game? If so how is it done, is it through tuning, or just going full weight, generator???
I’m curious the exact specs? Looks like your targetting systems can’t keep up with your boosts, but it also looks like you just don’t run out of boost.
Weaksauce build. I made one you can use outside of infinite energy. It also had a speed of +4000kph while mid slice. 😝 overboost and slicing can lead to a suuuuper long animation and max your speed. A slice or two to attack then one more to boost far enough to disengage overboost, recover KP and go again before they can even get close enough to shoot; if you wanna go extra safe with it. Your only vulnerability is when your frozen and flying straight at them like a crazy laser swinging missile.
Not hating or anything but this is on regulation 1.15, this can easily be replicated unless an FRS mod/hack is used then that's just cheating lol. Show us something crazy on regulation 1.40, then experienced players will be impressed; P
It was the only thing that made this game competitive lol 1.15 was literally From Software's goof update that told players "have fun, this mode is for giggles" lol there is nothing serious about this regulation. But like you said whatever floats your boat. I just like to play on a level where skill is demanded.
The skill there is more or less the same. It's just adding in design skills. You can get it so that combat's basically the same in 1.15 in 1.40, but with a little bit of management. That's why I find blade designs to function best when on the ground but able to a end enough to land the hits. Plus, I dunno about X-Box, but multiplayer is basically a ghost town for PS3.
This is the kind of build you don't want to run into online.

The ACs in 5 are heavier on average.
And shorter a lot shorter and they cannot fly.
In AC5 the Nexts are more like VTs (Steel Battalion), they feel more like a "Tank" then a "mobile suit" which is sad really.
Actually AC5 and Veredict Day doesn't have playable Nexts, they don't have primal armor, they are just stronger normal AC's

I'm from the future, and you can play AC6 on PC, in fact I am doing just that, but the days of mach 3 dogfights are over as far as I can tell.
you can play AC4 and AC4A by emulation. Its much better than AC6.

I'm late, but that's the natural rate of the clock on AC4A. It goes just a tiny bit faster than a normal clock.
Fast in Armored Core is not calculated by the Kmph. It is shown by how desperate your 3rd person camera trying to keep up.

Honestly, I'll take a return to AC4FA gameplay minus the Quick Boost for AC6. QB makes for some crazy fights, but it was too fast in my opinion.

Ragingkronic ( Hoots ) PS3 version has a LAN mode so you can connect the console to your PC and use Xlink Kai to play online.
I loved the fast paced nature of the game. it reminded me of zoe 2 a bit. I actually stopped at ac4fa. ac5 didn't seem appealing to me at all really.

regulation 1.14 offers infinite energy gameplay. also he probably maxed out the tuning towards his boosters.
