- They say that when a goal is to easy, we wait until the last minute to get started. And when a goal to hard, we just don’t even try. So Obviously the goal has to be just right, and in this video, I’m going to give you 3 things you can do to save 10k
10k is a good number, not to hard and not to easy. And you could also increase the difficulty by making the timeline shorter.

1. First Let's Talk about the Method (the 3 methods to be exact )
- Now you have to do some simple math
- If you make 4k a month and you have 12 weeks/3 months
- You only make 12k in 3 months, saving 10k is wild ( you cant less on 2k for 3 months or maybe you can )
- So side hustle or lower the goal to 5k
Challenge:
- 1 month of these 3 ( no spend Month ) - Don’t buy anything that’s not an essential
- 10k in 12 Weeks Sheet ( you can download for free or give me money you pick )
- Pick a Companion Challenge ( this is super important), this is what the money you are saving or spending is going to be used for - yes you heard me right ( you could be spending this money instead of saving it

- This is a challenge where you can't wait until things get difficult to start motivating yourself
- You have to go into it prepared
#1 Know why you are saying this money and why its important to you

#2 Know the Struggles you’ll encounter and your plan
- Impulse purchases - Carry Cash instead of a card

- Giving this a due date ( why 12 weeks, long enough to get things done, but to short to waste time)
- Keeping yourself honest as the old folks say ( keeping score, how much did you save this week ? )
- Be Realistic ( if you make 1k a month and you want to finish the 12 weeks with 10k, its probably not going to happen )

The days that’s over $200 is crazy haha and everyday. Jesus it might take me till the end of the year. But I’m going to start my next payday and give myself the original 12 weeks. And use the money to pay debt but I should still have some leftover after debt like 5k if I achieve it. Looks like I’m going back to door dash 😂

Hey Tommy, I’m trying to understand the instructions for the sheet but I don’t get it.
The idea is this:
1. Get the sheet
2. Pick a number and save that each day
3. Once you've completed all the days, you will have 10k saved.
Ps. I added two extra days for grace
If I dont invest I can save about half my take home pay. If I do 1 extra transfer I save 1k rather than 935 dollars.

@@TommyBryson 935 is for emergency fund and house down payment savings (500 house, 435 emergency) then the rest is invested.
