    I don’t know what I had til this video. Thanks for posting. Mine is at the seed stage where I thought it was the end of the growth. Now I know it will grow more. Also, like the fact it is native to Japan.

    How old does a sago palm need to be to know it is male or female. My plants look like female but more leaves grow from center

      The seeds from a female sago palm will produce both male and female seedlings. But you won't be able to determine the sex of those seedlings until they grow large enough to bloom, which will usually take at least 10 years.

    Are you supposed to remove the cycas in both the male and female sago

    . In my home garden, sycd was grown 15 years ago. During the first 13 years it was good, but in the last two years, the growth of the leaves began to be incomplete. Note that I fertilize it every winter with manure or compost, and during the summer with NPK fertilizer. Help us❤😅

      You can choose a slow-release palm fertilizer, with an N-P-K ratio of 12-4-12, is best. Feed your Sago Palm according to package directions two to three times between spring and summer (for example, once in early April, once in early June, and again in early August or May and August).
