I have one of these in my garden in a pot. I just bring it into my sitting room next to the patio doors. Works a treat. Also last year it produced nine new leaves too !
Cycas Revoluta bring both pleasure and pain. I've got 5 of them which I've looked after north of you for 5 years. All arrived at my location beautiful green and learnt their keep. Only two remain that look half-decent. Without wanting to sound pessimistic they're difficult to care for overwinter Strategies tried A. Indoor wintering.. easy until you try to harden them off in spring, then they sunburn B. Leave it planted outdoors. Frost burn, damage and death even at temps
Left my cycad outside in Sheffield and it survived the winter, its planted in a foot of pure gravel for drainage and I put a poly-carbonate roof over it to keep some of the wet off, no damage at all
Beautiful looking sago plant, its the bees knees. Your area will be beautiful when you finish planting and put in the gravel. I find your videos very interesting because I don't know much about tropical plants.
Hi Sandy. You are correct, as I explained in this video there was no external microphone on this video as i grabbed my phone and recorded. Apologies. All my other videos are using external microphone and are much better. Mark
Love these but mine was too big & far too heavy to bring them into the house. I tried bubblewrapping it but lost it in that terrible Winter a few years ago. Never again. Cost me a lot of money.

That's brilliant. I think have to stand corrected on the leaves. It's three flushes of leaves rather than 3 leaves as I stated.

This is very encouraging thank you. I'm half tempted...
We bought one of these last week and now I’m trying to think where it’s going to live through the winter !
So…beautiful! Just love it! Looked like magic when you unfurled it!🪄🌴💚

Thanks Nicholas 😊 looking forward to the gravel soon.
How's the leaning fern of Shropshire doing?
Hi. Do you mean the bendy tree fern? Mark
@@MarksHouseandGardenUK Yes! the one you planted at an angle over the pond area.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I was wondering if you could upgrade your sound system. I struggle to understand you even with my sound turned all the way up.

Oh Gosh, I hope I have a better experience with mine. Mark
Shouldn't hack the roots.... plant as is
My peafowl 🦚 eat it's leaves and they're always fine (they don't get any harm)
