Daveed’s entire performance is literal gold. Also, I hate to say it, but the audio is off and it hurts my soul. But other than that it’s a really amazing video, and the little subtitles make it soooo much better. 😊

During the Reynolds Pamphlet everyone does in fact freestyle, the only time in the play. Anyone watching Ham slimes will note every performance is thus very different. You'll note this is the only time the King participates, but this is a built in feature of Broadway. As the character has no choreography and no interaction his character can easily be filled by guest stars on short notice. Obviously since the play is such a huge hit they haven't had the need to hire any but we'll see one day lol.
If I could ever go watch Hamilton in theatre i would choose the seat on the left side of the front row to get a kiss from Daveed.
