This was the golden era of street bikes for me. They looked great, had all the power you would need and had character and personality. You could tell what was what. Today they all look the same.
I believe Kawasaki contracted filmmaker Peter Starr to do this promo clip. What a time machine...fantastic! And seeing Rob Muzzy's handiwork again is always a pleasure.
Pretty good talent recognition by Kawi in the early eighties, Eddie Lawson & Wayne Rainey riding your superbikes, both incredibly fast, focused legends. Sure sold a helluva lot of 1000's for Kawasaki, that's for sure.
Had a new gpz750 in 1983 with a Harris works collection f1 full system.loved it.bought a 1985gpz 900r blue and silver a2 still have it in 2019 and going strong 😍

当時レイニー等のメカニックしてた方と仕事していましたが、この頃は面白かったと聞いてます。
AMAよりWGPの印象が強い人が多いと思いますが、Kawasakiはレイニーやローソンのイメージです。
このマシンもカワサキの展示室にあった気がします。
こうしたAMAのころの映像って少ないので他の動画も拝見させて頂きました。
4サイクルで海外。また今のKawasakiがそんな感じだなと思います。

As a 75’. Z1b owner this is my second favorite Kawasaki ever. Styling was just phenomenal. Of course the 05-18. ZXr series are beautiful too.
That blue/white/gold paintwork is my favorite.
Brought back some good memories of my old GPz. I currently own a ZRX1200r in lime green which I adore and will keep forever. Thankyou Kawasaki
I saw these guys race back in the day,Talladega,Road Atlanta and Daytona. Good times! Always wanted a ELR1000R but ended up with a ZRX1100. LOL

こういうのを見ますとR1の車検を取りたくなります。うれしくなりますね。でもノーマルの維持もそろそろ限界かもしれません

It appears the center stand (remember those) spring broke and let the stand drop down and drag... or was it done intentionally to make sparks?
