    Incredible interview. Framk has a very unassuming way about him, which im sure was key to his success in infiltrating these organizations.

    Has Frank Panessa written a book? If not, why hasn't a writer done one while Panessa is still with us?

      I looked it up and no, no book, as far as I can see, I would read it if there was one. All the books I read now were either written by cops or criminals, ha ha.

    Fascinating what this man had to say. It's interesting seeing all the different sides and hearing what a former DEA agent knows from the legal side.. Often times we only know the street's side, and its all pieced together. It's interesting to hear from the law's side...this man was a DEA agent in NY in the late 60's. You know some interesting shit was going on then...this man broke open the pizza connection case for lord sake. It. doesn't get any bigger

    Frank's mentioned these 2 Bruno Family Soldiers that he used to get introduced to multiple times in different interviews, and nobody ever asks him who were they? Were they made or were they associates? If Frank's claiming to a Philadelphia Crime Family Soldier wouldnt that be very easy to prove its a lie? Couldnt they just ask around about Panessa's being made? Nobody ever seems to ask any of these questions

    this is a different top;ic but related does he know anything about scarfo war post bruno killing ie. johnny keys hit?

    • @jonnytlong
      @jonnytlong 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That hit had nothing to do with drugs. He was a DEA agent so I’m not sure why he would

    • @lprophit
      @lprophit 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      its not really that much of a stretch even tho like i said they are not that related but he talked alot of drugs in philly in early 80s thats right around the time of bruno murdered and he mentions bruno a number of times. johny simone was bruno's cousin and consigliere hee was a co conspirator in his murder. bruno was one of the biggest drug dealers in philly not to mention probably the east coast with people like long john around him so i am just wondering if hee heard anything being in the mix around those guy at that time ...@@jonnytlong

    '...Massino also explained the rationale behind another mob rubout: Disrespect. While he was on the lam in 1984 - ducking trial for the murders of three capos in 1981 - Massino said he learned from Rastelli’s brother and his own brother-in-law Salvatore Vitale, who was then a capo, that Rastelli was planning to whack Cesare Bonventre, a member of the family’s Sicilian faction who had extorted about $600,000 from a drug dealer who was close to Rastelli.
    When Bonventre was called on the carpet about it by Rastelli, (right) not only did he deny the allegation, “he got insulted” by the inquiry and “got up and walked away,’ without so much as a polite good bye to his already steaming Mafia boss.
    “You can’t do that with bosses,” said Massino. “That’s why he died.”'
