Wow great stuff. I knew Vinny and Burke and Tommy D Very Very well. I was way younger then those guys. Never realized back in the day I was Hanging with legends LOL. My granny had them cooked them dinner a few times. They use to call her mom they considered her family. In fact Burke got pissed at Tommy for cursing in front of her.
Vinny and Tommy actually lived under the same roof together for a bit and Yes Burke was VERY VERY Close to Tommy. I also heard the story about Vinny and The Dog LMAO I could just picture how crazy Vinny Must have went Lol WISH i had a movie of that one. Lol
I knew Tommy and his friend Anthony Stabile. Everyone expects me to say Tom was a mad dog and evil. I never saw it. I knew he was a street guy but underestimated his body count. He was a funny guy who could tell jokes and stories for hours. The movie never showed how badly he was addicted to drugs. He was insecure and a follower. Anthony made the decisions and led him. Anthony was the brains. Tom was a hang-around.

Its 2days not 48hrs you should know that
Jimmy Burke seems like he was a snake. Like Ray Liotta's line as Henry in Goodfellas "it made him sick to turn money over to the guys that stole it, he'd rather whack them". Pretty treacherous. In the book about Al D'Arco "Mob Boss" Al talks about a sitdown with Jimmy where an agreement was reached that these guys who stole a trailer of goods would get a certain amount of the take, Jimmy agreed but then killed them after because i guess it he didnt like giving them the percentage. It did not pay to be in business with Jimmy. You'd get killed. Al D'Arco said "jimmy didnt give a fuck, he'd kill you for anything". So the moral of the story is get a normal job, dont be a criminal.
There must be soooooo many other heists you to could tell us about...... Lufthansa.... Boring, it's been covered till we are blue in the face.

Can you guys write a book...or atleast do a good show on the relationship that The Gent had with Vinny A? The Gent lived on the next block from us, and I'm not sure what street Vinny A lived 🤔 on in How'beach? I moved in 1980 before all the Shit hit the Fan (The Newspapers). Being that only The Gent & Vinny A were the sole survivors of Lufthansa, this would be fascinating...never heard much about this. I really like Scott’s wealth of knowledge. But this channel possibly needs a little pickup or organization or another moderating contributor-
Because it really sounds jumbled or unsure or shaky -particularly in the first ten minutes which are vital to the overall listening and viewing experience.
I know that Scott is confident in his knowledge but it just sounds very shaky like they’re not sure and just guessing or intimidated to present us with solid facts in an assertive way.
I will always be a subscriber cause I know it’s a top notch channel and I can endure the shakiness and interruptions of Scott’s cohost. I recognize that it’s just a formatting issue because the content is 🔥
