No, I'm not. Born and raised Catholic from a Catholic family... Im not a Kazakh, I am a Filipino priest but serving the few Catholics and even non Catholics in Kazakhstan.
@@jamanak123 that is so wonderful Fr, may God bless you missionary spirit! Can you please remember me in your mass tomorrow Fr, I am feeling confused regarding my vocation.
Having been training for the priesthood for two years at age of 12, I now know Jesus in my heart and in scripture. I am glad I didn't continue with the seminary. The word of God is my bread and butter. Still a practising Catholic but with a simple lifestyle free of the statue veneration and apparition falsehood.
Then you aren't a Catholic, by the sound of it. You've defined Catholicism on your terms. That's the Protestant church's mode of Operation,

You are definitely a "NOt practicing Catholic". You pretend to be but not. Obviously you don't understand what is Catholicism. You are definitely a Protestant, the very word “Protestant” (all non-Catholic Christians) means “protest” and by protest obviously they are referring to the Catholic Church. Catholics are those Christians who accept ALL the teachings of Our Lord Jesus. The rest of the Christians accept the teachings that suit their particular, man-made denomination.
Great to see these professions, and I wish them well on their journey towards God, but, that hymn...truly awful! Such vapid music distracts from the profundity of the commitment.
I might like it better if it were sung the way it's written, but I doubt it. It seems more like a campfire song that is sung at a weekend retreat. It would be quite moving there.
@Isaiah Footnote If you understood this beautiful song, written by a Catholic Priest, made to celebrate the response of the fishermen that followed Christ, you would not have responded in such a dismissive way to consecrated religious doing the same.
Great to see young men giving themselfs to the service of god god bless them
Beautiful. One of my favourite hymns.
Beautiful one of my favorite songs and watching a vestition ceremony reminds me of my own clothing with the habit when I was in community.
I hope that these brothers have persevered... God bless you always. Greetings from Kazakhstan.
Wow are there Catholics in Kazakhstan?

If you are talking about the seashore fish song, personally I don't think it's a hymn. Perhaps a spiritual song, but not a hymn.
