This is a wishful thought. This is merely a conversion; it does not change the dimension from to metres. Even though using dimensions to check the length will show you the conversion, if you draw a line say 5m long, you will notice that it is longer or shorter than the original drawing. If you want to convert a drawing from one unit of measurement to another, you must redraw it entirely to be accurate.
