  • In this Microsoft Word Tutorial I will teach you how you can work on a manuscript with many authors at once, using the Review functions. I will show you how to work with Tracked changes, how to use the Comments option and how to combine documents.
    About me:
I am a registered clinical epidemiologist and working as a fellow in medical oncology in the Netherlands. I have published over 60 manuscripts and have received several large research grants. I am particularly interested in research in geriatric oncology and am a an active member of the International Society for Geriatric Oncology.
You can find more information about my work on my linkedin page:

And here is my full bibliography:

    Disclaimer:
Views and opinions are my own. Examples from clinical research will always include either my own work, or previously published research. I will include references in the description box.

Hi Nienke, I actually can't figure out how to suggest changes in a text, especially how to strike out a word or sentences. I hope you can help me with that.

How do you add a stamp on the document that tells that the document is reviewed?

Please explain how to insert specific comments on different word/ lines. When I try to do this, all comments show up in one box but I want them to be displaced next to the line/word where comment was inserted

What if you want to make the changes and NOT delete the comment but reply as "done"?. I tried and it seems to automatically delete the comment when changing the word that was highlighted

Fine, but how to finalise the document by deleting all revision data?

    • @karinturkington2455

You go to the Changes menu and click Accept. There you can choose to accept the revisions one by one or all at once or even to reject them, the same, one by one or all of them.
