my first car at age 16 was a `63 Oldsmobile Holiday coupe. I really loved that car. This one is a beauty. My parents were Olds and Pontiac buyers all my growing up years. Oldsmobile in the sixties were top notch styling.
@3^35 gotta say the back glass is unique & looks like exexcellent condition, ya kno there was a ww2 clientele that at this time appreciated this vehicle and acquired it, if urs is still in the family, kudos to you... A diff Era for sure
I drove a 64 98 LS for over 30 years. Try to find the tilt steering, electric antenna, side marker lights and exclusive Star headlight covers! Trunk kits are still being made as are drop in electronic ignition kits to replace the points.
Correction is a 3-4 step process which takes several hours. From a deep cutting pad (or wet sanding or both) to a final polish. A 'Buff-Polish-Glaze Wax' is a much simpler, 1 or 2 step process. Some cars don't require a correction. This one did. Seeing is believing.
@@orphancargarage5746 - LOL! No, each indicated step is a step in itself. We did this back in the 70's for deserving cars. It took better than half a day to accomplish. Hence my comment.
Beautiful looking car. 1962 and 1964 are my favourite years for Oldsmobile.
Starfire and Jetstar 1 had hotter 394" V8 than 98 Olds 394" engine...

My 64’ had these features and More. 1964, 98 olds. Blue on blue. A ton more accessories and trim. Miss that car! Wished I never sold it!
