amateur paint job, missing parts, he still wants twice collector car price. LOL
horrible tires
Wow, I've been a Capri fan all my life having owned 3 and never heard of a Black Magic until today!! I had 1 RS and two normal Capris! I loved them and wish I had all of them back!!!
They finally went over to hydralic brakes.
Been a long time since I seen one of these. I do remember this automobile. From Key West Florida.👍
THIS is the year and model Fiero you want to get, if you're searching for a Fiero. The 88 Formula is hard to come by. Black beauty! $11,900 is a little more than I'd go for a Fiero, but it's not outrageous. I like the fact the previous owner has a lot of documentation included, because man... it sucks getting an older car and you have nothing to go by.
PS: One of the first things I looked for was the headliner on this and sure enough, it's been replaced. You almost always see them sagging on Fieros. It's minor, but just kinda annoying. All the gauges work too? That's the 2nd thing I'd look for, because it's common to have those malfunctioning too. Whoever had this, took good care of it! Kudos to them.
That's a sharp looking car, just needs a stuffed toy possum in the back window...
Absolutely beautiful, outstanding indeed, wow, I love it, thanks for sharing, fantastic video review.
YO YO YO WALTHAM MA HERE THANSK FOR ONE BADD AZZ BUICK DEFINITELY NOT YOUR DAD'S CAR I WOULD PAY THE 25K FOR IT . SWEEET .
That car is just gorgeous. Must have sold quickly.
Same seats as my Mother's 1982 Buick Electra Limited.
Nice Corvair Monza with 2 speed 110 powerglide, no thanks, had one , Corsa for me or at least a 140 Monza 4 speed.
Pretty low option - pragmatic school teacher. Never seen a Custom convert w/o the notchback seat. Pretty sure you could not get buckets in the Custom convert - yes in the Custom coupe, yes in the GS. Lots of $$ invested but I think I'd want higher spec for that money. Grew up in the 80s with a friend who had a 72 Malibu convert with buckets and the 350-4 with duals. Her Dad bought it for her, but it was mostly wasted - she rarely (if ever!) put the top down and I swear never dipped into the auxiliaries. We'd sit at the light and I'd tell her to see what it could do - nope.
Nash Metropolitan. Had one in the family growing up along with a Rambler 😂
Autumn Gold, eh? Hmmm.... YT must not be doing it justice as for us it looks... moldy green-brown. But you are right about the A Bodies. I had one, a '70 GTO which I would give anything to have back today. Whoever buys this one will really enjoy, they drive more like a luxury car but stomp on that go-pedal and it will make you smile.
Beautiful car. When I see you’ve put out a video I always wonder what classic car is going to be showcased. This Buick was a treat to watch and will make someone happy for a long time. Thanks for sharing and all the best to you in 2025.
Too much as nice as it is. It doesn't spec out to $28K. If the floors and trunk are as nice as the engine compartment then it is worth a look cause they are getting scarce. Cheers 🇨🇦
Generally speaking, yes. If you are fine with a mediocre example. This car is a cut above and arguably one of the best examples out there. Find a better one for less and we'll chat. Cheers to you and as always, thank you for the support and commentary!
50K miles I could see $12K. Not with over 100K
We gotta be fair here... this car comes with a lot of receipts and has a great paint job on it. I don't think 12k is outrageous for it, but I personally wouldn't pay over 10k for a Fiero. The reason I wouldn't go over 10k for a Fiero is simple, for that price I could get a good used Corvette.
and be just another dime a dozen, seen everywhere, vette
I like the lines of the GT w/out a spoiler
Nash was one of the first cars to have quad headlights. Lincoln Premier, Mercury Turnpike Cruiser were the other two cars that also had quad headlights.
It was also converted to an alternator
bought my 1975 oldsmobile delta 88 convertible 3 years ago no regrets great guy
Traveler’s side.
Traveler, computer, thank you for saying that! That’s great! God bless America!
One the best on this year cars, no EPA standards. EPAregulations started in 1971.
Nice car,Edsels have been a long time favorite of mine, and this one is in good shape it looks good #Aztec73
I like the Color. The Go Pack came with a posi rear end
My grandaddy had one of these back in 78!!
The protruding bumpers are grotesque. They appear to not be originals, leading me to question whether the car has been in an accident...?
Hey Orphan, Inferno red pearl, that's the color for me. Thanks ANB
Let me know if you get in A GEO Metro Convertible . Thanks John . Happy Holidays !!
I got a 2006 Mercedes Benz SL. Its my favorite car by far!!!!❤
I owned 1993 Mercury Capri in 2003, it had 140,000 miles and ran great 👍🏻 only replaced radiator and alternator, which I replaced myself.
I have a twin to this!
This half year only color is just stunning and makes this car super super rare. I absolutely love it. The radio you mentioned in the video was first debuted in the 1985 model year and only available on the Lazer, New Yorker and Lebaron. It's called the "Chrysler Ultimate Sound System" and was developed by Mitsubishi for Chrysler Corporation. As Chrysler and Mitsubishi has been collaborating with each other on everything from the cars itself, engines and even electronics. Chrysler was NOT happy with the Huntsville electronics division ability to make a superior car stereo so they outsourced that new system to Mitsubshi. Those radios are amazing for the time but are know for all their soldering joints to crack due to age. An expert radio repair shop will know this and be able to re solder ALL the soldering joints to bring it back to like new condition. This car might be like in the top .05% of the most rare Chryslers of the 1980's. So few Lazers were built and sold. Even fewer remain. And to be in XE trim with the optional turbo in this super rare color is just priceless. Nice to see it previewed on the channel.
More like 234,000 miles.
To be a "show car" it can not even have one spec of dust on it. They go over the car with a magnifying glass.😅 What elitist nonsense.
I love my '84 pace car...I found her when no one else had any love for the Duke of Iron...
Nothing wrong with the 84 pace car Fieros! well except for the fact they're the Iron Duke. Still a great cruiser. I'd buy one in an instant for the right price and condition.
I have a 1997 Expresso. That year( could be the other years, as well) The Calif/mass/NY cars did NOT get a DOHC engine, for emission reasons.
Have you driven a Ford lately ?😊
Just an amazing 59 convertible!Don’t see them too often in Inca gold. Just wanted to point out a small correction you said the standard engine was the 292 but it was in fact the 223 inline 6 all 3 v8 engines would have been optional. It’s priced right for sure! Good luck with the sale!
That's a nice ride, However if it were mine I would put a new dual master cylinder in it.
I'm obsessed with 1979-1985 Toronado, Riviera, and Eldorado!
The fox bodies are the ugliest Mustangs ever built.
Made by Saab-Valmet in Uusikaupunki. Greetings from Finland, what a gorgeous Saab! 😍
2 freaking commercials??
7:40 Err...that's "horse collar grill". Please take note.
very nice cars John, thank you 👍
I ❤️ love the '60 Edsel. Of the three years Edsel was made the '60 is my all time favorite 😍.
I don’t suppose a trade would be in order..? I’m looking for one of these in California. I have a 92 Ford F-150 4x4 that’s fairly clean. Needs some TLC. But everything works, I’m getting older, and more disabled. It’s getting too hard for me to get in and out of my truck. I’ll keep looking here in California.. Maybe someone will see this reply, and have a swap they’d be interested in.. Love the 77 ranchero. Nice car/truck
