      @@DarkunePlaysno lol, not even close. Metal Fight had so many limitations that even left spin was considered a game changing gimmick, both in the real world and anime. Metal Fight had more control over height, but it traded stuff like bearings, defence, LAD with different types of tips, spin equalisation in every Bey, free spinning main contact points (the 4D system is just a poor rehash of plastic gen, I mean Galeon has more customisation with War Lion than Big Bang, Phantom, Scythe, Variares, Diablo or any 4D wheel. The Drives are worse remakes of customise blade bases like Driger F, Dranzer S, Dranzer V2 etc), not only that but metal fight has the same performance in both directions (even though it's illegal to change spin direction in 99.99% of beys) unless it's an L Drago bey, which is completely false for plastic gen, Eight Spiker is useless in right spin but hard hitting in left. There's a lot more stuff to talk about, but in essence metal fight's single gimmick is being made of metal, and because of that it loses out multiple gimmicks plastic gen had

    Great video, I didn't know about Bystool and it's such a cute Bit Beast! Though, I think it would be cool if you could include a "Gameplan" or "How it works" section about each bey, next time. Like, how does this particular attack ring works or why did you choose a bearing drive tip; it's something that could be good for curious beginners and amateurs alike and it can show a lot of the tecnical details hidden inside these battle tops too

    Well, I’m not sure if Wide Defense disc was an available part for every player back in the 2004 World Championship.
    That’s a part released in japan since year 2000 but idk if it was banned for japanese players, anyway without that disc Bistool hardly could beat your Bearing combo. I think 00’s kids didn’t realize too much about how opposite spin matches work.
    So a cool challenge could be trying to beat Bistool with a right spin combo, only early to Magnacore parts and no Wide Defense, Wide Survivor discs on Ultimate Stadium so you can recreate the scenario as closest as possible.

    • @nizumablader
      @nizumablader  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think I’ll do that once I get the ultimate stadium. I wasn’t sure either, I couldn’t find any ban lists or rules for the time. I did talk to someone who attended but that’s all the info I could get.

  • @minakohiashi8882
    @minakohiashi8882 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I never understood competitive Beyblading besides selecting top types and how strong you want to make it spin there is not much player reaction. plus I know other more powerful tops are borderline weapons that would outperform a toy Beyblade

    • @nizumablader
      @nizumablader  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have launch strength, launch type, height, weight, typing such as attack, defense, and stamina. There’s more to it competitively looking in if you aren’t familiar with it.
