The problem with this combo is that it makes Meteo L-Drago taller than all of the opponents with a 145 spin track, thus not being able to spin steal as efficiently. I find that it primarily works when L-Drago is shorter than its opponents like with its stock combo.

True but normal l-drago against a very high beyblade (so that it doesn’t hit the fusion wheel anymore) just looses when it tries to spin steal, like this it can almost always spin steal even if not so effective

@@heromedley Not nessesarily. For meteo L-dragon the rubber is on the energy ring and thus mostly on the upper part of the beyblade. So in any battle where he is just as tall or taller than the opposing beyblade the rubber makes very little contact preventing him from properly spinstealing. If you were to do this same Idea but with Ldrago Destroy then it would work better as it has a full metal energy ring and a rubber fusion wheel which means that with the greater height mostly the rubber is what would make contact.
It would be really cool if you showed all 4D beyblades with their gimmicks one day, no youtuber ever explains all the pieces except for you

Does you guys L Drago energy rings break? Or broke? Cause I had a lightning L Drago and it's energy ring, Plastic bit would scrape a lot looking like it came out injured. And for my Drago destructor the plastic ring below it's metal ring completely broke when I first pit it against a beyblade
It'll be interesting to see multiple combos using the FD, it's a pretty strong spin track like the BD.
Idea, what if you put final survive on L Drago Guardian? Makes sense to put a tip that’s meant to conserve stamina at the end on a defense type rather than an attack type.
I was thinking it would work better on Meteo, because you could destabilise the opponent, or maybe knock them out earlier in the round, then if the opponent is still spinning a sharp tip would improve the spin-stealing ability towards the end.
As a fan of the L-Drago line, I have a request. Currently, Guardian is the only defense-type L-Drago. I always wondered if others could do the same. Since Meteo L-Drago is technically it's pre-evolution, could they be made into effective defense-types, or failing that, balance-types?
I want to see it done for each of Meteo's variations. (Absorb, Assault, and Rush).
What is Guardian L-Drago?
He refers to L-Drago Guardian , yet another bey in L-Drago line (in this case an temporary upgrade to LDD), but only the one that being def-type (comes with S130MB).

I thought that at first, but that would be a little too easy to make. Guardian's Energy Ring/Fusion Wheel is similar to Destructor, which is already an attack-type.

I think drago performed as expected, but it's weight is a huge issue. I feel like if you used a metal Face bolt it might have had a chance against tempo. Also, genuine question, how do you get those face bolts that just have the designs printed on them? Some of mine have them and I feel like they look a lot better than stickers.
Only certain beys have them, but there are WBBA ones you can buy on their own or with certain little sets
all metal masters and hasbro metal fury beys have them printed on, I'm not so sure about TT because I never had any
the transparent F:D you have is very nice. I think it would suit basalt horogium very well.

Some constructive criticism about meto L dragon F.D, so I noticed how meto L dragon had low attack power when it came to the beyblade itself. This made it hard for him to knockout other beyblades from what I've seen. And tbh if meto L dragon F.D was facing against Diablo nemesis, it would not go so well. That's why I was think about trying to add more weight on to meto L dragon while making this combo, like a some what evolution for him. I was originally thinking for meto L drago h145 F.D but that's up to you to decide. Although it was pretty fun watching the battles, look forward to doing more in the future. 😁
4D bottoms replace the spin track and performance tip so you can't add a spin track. The only way to add weight to the combo (legally) would be with a metal face bolt.
What about adding the Gravity ball Spin track. It would definitely give it more weight. For a performance tip either it's original or a wide tip.
a video about like, "beyblade 101" or a video for beginners would be kinda fun, i have gotten some friends interested in the hobby but they don't really know how it works, so if i had some sort of reference video to show them that would be awesome!
I think the idea would be perfect if you had access to an inverted final drive that remains on stamina while at slow speed to steal better then at high speed move fast to actually dish damage
i like this idea! it would help with spin stealing like you said, and also would increase LAD (i think). it would also make beyblade battles look like those in the anime where L Drago starts off with low stamina and then after spin stealing, knocks out beys in the stadium!

It’s interesting to see how Leone managed to mitigate L-drago’s spin steal mechanic. Not only did it avoid hitting the rubber parts of L-Drago’s fusion wheel (as it constantly clanked with the metal parts) it also managed to evade hitting L-Drago altogether near the end of each battle by spinning around JUST outside of its reach.
I think that last battle was unfair. The one with the highest stamina should be going first

I was satisfied with the results, thinking about each matchup. I'm not that much into beyblade, not into the stats, watching because I liked the anime, once upon a time... BUT considering the last matchup, knowing Twisted Tempo is so heavy makes me think that was a detriment to Meteo L-Drago's spin stealing, maybe the weight played a factor and made the effect weaker.
In terms of what can be done to improve L-Drago, the easiest and most obvious one you can do is switch the Fusion Wheel from Meteo to Lightning; not only is Lightning heavier, but it’s also smoother overall, which would give L-Drago a better chance at actually spin stealing.
Also, kind of a hot take, but I think left spin and/or spin stealing is probably the least useful gimmick across all generations of BeyBlade; aside from being very 50/50 in terms of whether or not it will actually work, there’s just no distinct advantage that it has that you couldn’t get from a regular Stamina-type build, and/or using a free-spinning spin track/performance tip on a right-spin BeyBlade.
Just a quick tip for anyone who has Meteo l Drago, replace the tip with WD and it becomes almost unbeatable against right spinners (please correct me if I'm wrong)

I feel like Final Drive is bad for a spin stealer as it has a rubber base. So it gets less from each hit.
add final drive onto L drago destructor and then add Final survive on Cosmic pegasus

you will get the same result if you use earth eagle.
When I used to play beyblade, my earth eagle would always spin steal when I played it against left spinning Beyblade.
You can launch your earth eagle in left rotation by rotating with your hand see the trick for yourself.

Hey Im not sure if this is already a thing but i was curious what a bearing drive would be like if it had a rubber tip, as the only down side to a rubber tip is the reduced stamina but bearing drive should counter the rubbers friction on the arena but still give it the defensive grip a rubber tip provides i feel like this could be a very strong defensive type that could even win out in some stamina match ups

Twisted Tempo is just a tough opponent. Heavy as a boulder and stupidly resistant

I’ve personally always wanted to see an evolution of Twisted Tempo. Mainly because it’s gimmick is that not only is it (supposedly) the heaviest bey (in the show) at rat point, but because the incline in its fusion wheel gives it a bit of unpredictability in its own unique way. It was subtle off balance jagged dashes. I wonder how a trait like that could be maximized to its full potential, especially while staying a defense type. Or do you think that trait would be better utilized as an attack type? I feel like something’s there but I don’t know what. Perhaps Bearing Drive? Or maybe Gravity Ball spin track with an Around Sharp or Wide Ball performance tip?
I’d probably try some combination of H145/GB145 and Flat Ball/Jog Ball while keeping the fusion wheel since it’s what creates the imbalance.
It's been ages bc my Tempo was stolen by some distant cousin at a holiday party when I was a kid, but I recall taking the super tall spin track from that compass themed beyblade and putting it on twisted tempo.... The height resulted in this obscene destructive potential with how damn heavy tempo is, where the more aggressively you hit it, the harder it would swing back and slam down on top of the other beyblade. All while still having a defense or stamina tip on usually, so if they just didn't hit it the inertia of its weight plus the tip would mean tempo wins anyway. My 'tall tempo' cracked the facebolt of one of the beys it battled
@@torunsmok5890 Damn. I had my black and red Meteo L-Drago stolen by my brothers friend as a kid (I think he might’ve known but I didn’t wanna press him knowing how easy peer pressure got him). But nice combo! I think my strongest combo was a Burn Bull with either Down Force 145 and. Normal 145 or something, cuz I remember the spin grace not being as gimmicky as I wanted and it being weirdly strong for some reason. The tip had the same one was Ray Striker if I remember correctly, which gave it some attack I think. Wish I knew why it was so strong.

I think the main reason l-drago lost so hard against tempo and couldn't get a lot of knockouts is because when F:D kicks in and you get that extra friction from the rubber you have an increase in the beyblade's torque (rotational force), that's why it hits harder, but the higher the torque, the more energy (aka stamina) that beyblade is going to be spending at each hit, just as a human has to spend more energy into throwing a harder punch compared to a weaker one, and if l-drago loses too much energy when it's already low on stamina, it's going to stop spinning before it can actually spin steal, combine that with the reduced recoil due to the rubber in the energy ring and it won't be able to knock the opposing beyblade out. At least I think that's what's happening here.

It kinda gives the battle phases. Meteo first tries to outlast the opponent using spin steal. If it can’t do that before it starts slowing down, it decides it might be impossible and then attempts to win by knock out, as opposed to other spin steal combos which resort to LAD at this stage

People always talk about spin stealing but don't know how spin steal actually works. The rubber isn't going to make spin stealing any better or worse. Rubber in general just absorbs impact better, but so long as two beyblades are rotating in opposite directions they will always "spin steal" aka "equalize". Literally try this out with any beyblade.
You wanna talk about spin steal? Gravity destroyer is way more of a monster with it than any of the L-Dragos. Unlike them, he literally has a way better performance tip and beywheel shape that for some reason annoyingly allows him to absorb spin casually.
All in all tho, the rubber doesn't help anything. At best, the rubber makes it easier to equalize when you want to launch meteor L-drago with your hand vs a launcher, because the shock absorption of the rubber gives less likely chance for it to get flung. But it doesn't make "Spin steal" any better or worse. Go ask Variaries who has no rubber, or go ask dark helm who will make battles faster by absorbing shock of other beyblades even when spinning the same direction. Or go ask gravity destroyer

O Final Drive é uma ideia interessante para essa temática mas não combina tão bem com o meteo l-drago considerando que a borracha do l-drago 2 fica mais para a parte de cima

When tempo literally says “f you I’m staying here” lot of weight and lot of height compared to a “short” L-Drago I think the fantasy was a lil too high for this bey and maybe a different defense bey would’ve been less difficult (in my opinion) but I can’t tell you to do what I want so good fights either way

This combo I made for meteo l drago is not illegal to brea or damage the face bolt,
Steps: you need L drago destroy and meteo l drago, take them apart, get the top of L drago destroy and the bottom meteo l drago and then combine those 2, and add F:S for more stamina or F:D for more attack potential
I’m actually curious about utilizing the specific spin track Drago gets, the one that acts as a downforce generator but only when left-spinning, and using that on a right-spinning bey.
"Are you have stupid?" Lol. This build doesn't make any sense. Equalizer builds should run with high LAD tips, like Bearing Drive, or just use Final Survive, L-Drago Destroy's tip.
Though I think Final Drive would work best on Lightning L-Drago, who has more recoil.

Looks like the Meteo L-Drago wheels just have really poor collision dynamics at that 145-ish height. Also, I forget, is the Sol metal wheel any good? The stock config Sol Blaze is obviously rubbish due to instability, but what if the scrape-prone spin track was removed? Is it still kind of crap?

Meh, as far as I'm concerned I like the idea, but F:D is just kinda bad. Most of the drives are like that except baring drive. Xtreme Drive has no stamina, Final Drive kinda has the same problem, Final Survive is worse F:D, and Delta Drive is nice in concept but isn't very stable
If possible can you 3d print a future evolution of L drago¿?
Can you do this with Lightning Ldrago? It has way more smash attack and I'm willing to bet it'd get some insane knockouts once the F:D activates, I think it could easily KO Tempo
I give my meteo 105 track and worn out WD. Thanks to its low height the opponent almost always hit the rubber part making a good rubber smash attack and spin stealing. It scraps quiet a lot but actually it gives some edge on spin stealing opposite spin beys. When meteo in low spin, it is so easy to spin steal.
Also worn out WD is crazy. So easy for spin stealing and doing life after death.
Honestly, i feel like this is more of a downgrade. An attack type spin stealer just doesn’t really make sense as constant contact is a requirement. If i were to use any flat tip on this, id use circle flat as it has the beat life after death of any attack type performance tip ive seen (Note, GGF is worse. GCF should only be used with F230).

Only if Final Drive had a mod where the rubber portion is replaced with plastic. I think the main reason why Meteo LDrago Final Drive lost is because rubber doesn't hold stamina in the mold of an attack type Performance Tip. I think it could have worked out better if his tip was plastic instead of rubber. Only then it would have beaten all the beys in this video.
I think the spin stealing effect is a little misunderstood. It can equalize spin time, however, the angular momenta isn't conserved directly into rotational speed, due to the inertia of the lighter blade. Lighter spin stealing blades follow a tangent vector, while heavier spin stealing blades induce a tangent vector in the opponent blade. Ultimately, the effect of spin stealing blades is greater collisions, with increased recoil distances, especially for the less massive blade. The objective advantage goes to the more massive blade, which will likely induce knock outs, without noticing as much change in velocity.

You appear to have the energy ring attached at the wrong orientation; for a more effective spin-steal you should have it so Meteo L-Drago is in Barrage Attack mode with the bronze sections behind the heads instead of underneath them.
