This honestly makes me emotional. This movie was my ENTIRE childhood. Having Autism, ADHD, and OCD, I was super repetitive and obsessive when I was like 4. I would just sit and watch this movie for hours. This just fills me with pure nostalgia. 😊

Yep. In my memories, this movie 'reminds' or pulls me towards my dad, since my sisters and I would always watch it with him when we were way younger. It was one of our favorite movies as a kid, as well as my dad's. Such a powerful movie and soundtrack. I'm almost 17 and I still get tears in my eyes and goosebumps everywhere. Every time. Always.

Это один из лучших мультфильмов за всю историю. Я из России, мой отец 20 лет назад на DVD-диске принёс этот мультфильм, и мы вместе с семьёй его смотрели. Лично я пересматривал его множество раз последующие года 3-4. И вот, спустя почти 20 лет, я снова его пересмотрел вместе с девушкой, оба пришли в восторг. Не знаю, на сколько много людей из моей страны наслышаны про этот мультфильм, но, будьте уверены - это шедевр! Даже не знаю, что лучше - История игрушек или Полярный Экспресс - Это ЛУЧШЕЕ! Это то, что я буду показывать детям обязательно.

This is my favorite Christmas movie ever!!!! It was my childhood movie around the holidays, and I watch it every year. Most people would say that Home Alone is the best Christmas movie, but that's only #2 for me. The Polar Express is the best Christmas movie imo. With such the joyful spirit of the holiday, and the lesson of believing I love it for the amazing Christmas movie that it is.🚂🎁🎄

Every single year, when I get all comfortable on the couch the last few days before Christmas, and the movie hasn’t officially started yet, but you hear this opening theme while the film’s producer titles grace the screen for a moment, oh man I get a lump in my throat. My simpler years from my childhood come rushing back each time. I’m 26 now and I don’t think I will ever grow old of this movie.
my mom told me as a kid, during Christmas I would always watch the polar express with my twin. Now Im in my 20s and still wished I was 8 years old, covering in the blankets with my twin as we watch the movie.
I was only like 6-7 when I first watched this film. It was December 24th 2009. And this film was magical. This was everything. Spending time with childhood friends and family. Before all the terrible events that led to this year.
That christmas I got my Nintendo Wii, Star Wars and Transformers Dead End action figure were amazing to me as a kid. This film will always remind me. That my childhood was a limited yet beautiful experience.

this movie is not only one of not the best movies, or media for that matter, to be conceived by mankind as a whole, but also something I grew up watching. The entire thing from start to finish is more than perfectly made, and before today, I thought it was real, and live action. The fact that this was made in 2004 is just astounding to say the least.

ever since i was a born, we’ve been watching this movie on Christmas Eve as a family, and never ever bothered to change that tradition. it has a sort of innocence and meaning to it that you truly cannot capture unless you’re watching it a few days before Christmas. the chords and strong music you hear in the opening number is truly so moving. i don’t care what anyone says, this is the best Christmas Eve movie, hands down.

My birthday is in Dec, and growing up in Ohio, I always LOVED the holidays. Unfortunately, into my adult life, some of my old family who would sit by the tree to watch me open presents are no longer here. When my wife and I have children, I will be sure to have the house that hosts ALL the family during Christmas.

This is my favourite Christmas movie. All of my friends would meet at a nearby high school and we would go into an open room and project The Polar Express, but not just any Polar Express, we would intentionally turn on the Greek version to practice. I don’t know what all my friends are now. I haven’t talked to them in ages. What I do know is that moments watching this movie were a blast and I enjoyed every second of it.
I am from Algeria and I watched this movie when I was young and I loved it very much But when I hear this music, especially now, I feel an emptiness inside my heart and a strong emotion and nostalgia for the past, to the point that I want to cry.

when I was in grade 1 we had this jar and every act of kindness was a pompom. (The tiny ones iykyk) and when it filled up we would watch a movie. The only time I remember we filled it up was on Christmas. We watched this movie and I miss that teacher sm and hearing this makes me cry bc it’s so nostalgic for me

This sure does take me back, back I’m my day we had a little thing called polar express day everyday on the same day in December…..December 17, we all gathered in little groups and watched the polar express whist sipping on hot chocolate and laying on soft comfy covers laying in our pajamas, now I no longer have that experience nor do my siblings. So moral of the story is to not take things for granted because you don’t know how long you have of that.
