Honestly the game went from a horror game to a very difficult puzzle game that people will either just give up playing halfway through or look up tutorials and play throughs to figure out puzzles that most players would have no chance of figuring out.
I only liked the school mini game in alpha 4 because it let me keep the double jump ability in the school mini game which sadly didn’t happen in the full game
Thank you so much. I have been seeing some news about it but unfortunately they cancelled the patch for the second game. Maybe when the third game comes out I should make a video also
@@iamkevin860 No mate please don't trust that bullshit you've seen people in the HN community are really impatient and are saying that the updates for HN2 are cancelled just because they don't understand how developing what's essentially another half of the game works. But either way HN3 looks very promising
You also forgot to mention the betas but tbh beta 1 is just alpha 4 but extended and beta 3 has more finished cutscenes and the neighbor’s house gets updated and a few other changes (also there is the beta 3 modkit aka Hello neighbor devkit that includes the boss fight and ending maps, the regular beta 3 has no ending because on the neighbor boss fight, there is no door on the house on the neighbor’s back)
I HATE THE SCHOOL MINI GAME ITS SOOOOOO ENRAGING!!!!!! So is the shopping cart one that one is just as a pain as the school one although to me the school one is the moast difficult (I do say that tiny build improved upon their mistakes in hello neighbor 2 (which honestly make the first game not cannon at all! And give a whole lot more lore exploration, although the physics engine still sucks)
yes I agree the second game improved the exploration but it was still a game where you would be put in with no instructions and be expected to know what to do. Glad someone agrees with me 🤣
I’ve been with hello neighbor since the beginning, and it bothers me that some people liked how hello neighbor evolved, to which, I see it has evolved to a dumpster can on fire. The early builds were so good, from the mystery, to the neighbors AI, it was a great start for the game and they could’ve made it perfect. But they threw it all away
I was also one of those people who was really excited looking at the first stages of the game but since alpha 3 I gave up following the game. I don't know if you know this but the game was targeted for adults in the beginning as the neighbor would say profanities Lmao
I dont think Alpha 2 is the best build; its pretty good but I think both the Pre-Alpha nad Alpha 1 are better overall for the AI, the focus on stealth, and the actual atmosphere and artstyle.
@@iamkevin860 Alpha 2 was about the same as the full game just with a bigger house in act 3 they are very similar. As for the others they do not match in quality but idk dude
@@iamkevin860 Glad to enlighten you. I believe you went in living up to the 300,000 copy paste HN review essays and your playthrough was just designed to be in line with that. Pre-Alpha's Peterson watched the TV the whole game, Alpha 1's Peterson would only wander occasionally with a bad path finding on the ground floor, Alpha 2 fully adopted the full games AI being a rendition of act 1, Alpha 3 and 4 felt bad due to the big house and bad puzzles. The full game will feel disastrous to a first time player mostly act 3 for being the most confusing and taking up a lot of the game time. But trust me play the game again with your new understanding and i can promise you that you will enjoy the game maybe not love it but you wont hate it.

Exactly and the neighbor with the "advanced ai" was barely even present which ruined it further u know
If you want a hello neighbor but better i reccomend: hello neighbor alternative reality. its a fan game on game jolt
Thank You I will check it out

I appreciate it so much thank you ❤️
U used to play this in Harrow college on ur galaxy s9 😂
Yessir that is correct 🤣🤣 Ain't no way you remembered all of that

In the final game you do get to keep the abilities. You need them to be able to get across the basement
@@iamkevin860 I meant that the abilities get disabled in the minigames
I'm back to tell you that Hello Neighbor 3 looks cool and you should probably check it out. I believe it would suit you more

Alright fair enough I was reading the reviews on steam and thats what they said but I will keeo waiting. Let's hope hn 3 works out a lot better
So underrated!!! How are you not the most famous youtuber also same about the red key i just do that one glitch
Thanks so much ❤️ Glad to hear I am not the only one that glitches the red key

That is true but it's like you said they were just extended versions of alpha 4 until it eventually got to the full game. Thanks ❤️

Yes I totally agree everything up to Alpha 2 was amazing and is the reason why so many people were dragged into the game
Yeah as a Hello Neighbor fan most of us prefer the alphas but it just isnt true at all. The alphas are defintley worse than the full games
Well sure but I at least preferred the pre-alpha to alpha 2 than the full game

Well that is defo a very interesting take thank you for that I never looked at it that way
