      I've got a bad past. Im an addict. October 25 2022, last year I was arrested. I broke free from addiction in jail. I'm still carving out my future in my present. As of writing this, I'm at a park. Working out. I work. I have a car. I'm focused and I'm never goim back. I'm committed. I go to groups. I have a higher power. And I'm going to work harder then ever before to change my future from death to life.

      That happens especially in men as the men in our society use this anger use this emotion flying around in the moment they harness it, they harness it and are able to attack when needed but yet are disciplined enough to hold their tounge. They have a never ending perspacacity.

    It’s from the uphill battle we derive our value… “In some sense, you want a goal that you can never attain.” No wonder the pursuit of an infinite God is so meaningful.

    Having lost 2 baby daughters within 5 years of each other, I can say that it broke me completely until I realised I had to carry their names until I leave this earth. My business is named after my daughters’ and after many failures, God has given me a break. We can’t control what we go through but we can control our emotions. God bless ❤

    It's not just about winning or losing, but to learn about teamwork, learn about sportsmanship, learn about discipline. The value of working together for a common goal. Have the emphasis on fundamentals, not just games.

    While I support the apprentice idea, the goals et cetera. What we are overlooking is contentment, once you achieve each personal goal, time expenditure is equal to attainment & one seeks contentment as a place to accept & ignite into the next step or plan forward. The adage of 'Stop & smell the roses or flowers' if you will, has merit. See self as the flower having attained a completion opened basking in Tao's joy. Then use 'gratitude' of those / that achievement to then enjoy contentment before you begin the process of another goal. It is important seek balance within youself, to marvel at being spiritual having a human experience capable of many mountains, the summit maybe the palace to dwell but the spirit reaches for the stars eventually.

    • @Hustle360
      @Hustle360 ปีที่แล้ว

      Finding contentment in the midst of pursuing personal goals is essential for holistic fulfillment. Embrace moments of gratitude and joy, like a blooming flower, appreciating the completion of each achievement. Seek balance within, acknowledging the spiritual essence of your human experience, reaching for even greater heights. Embrace contentment as a catalyst for growth, allowing your spirit to soar towards the stars.

    You're probably scrolling through the comments, like I am. If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world. Don't dwell on things from the past or stress thinking about the future! The worst thing you can ever do to yourself is believing things can't get better! Where focus goes energy flows, you only get one shot at this. Do whatever makes you happy, not what makes other people happy. Be consistent in upgrading your personal skills!

    I think Peterson underestimates athleticism a bit here. Sometimes physicality engenders trust, demonstrates discipline, and turns away conflict.

    I am all for inspirational talk that helps motivate people, but the fruits of one’s labor are more telling.
    This particular “motivational” idea that the best way to be successful is to become “dangerous”, very frequently and pointedly being made to young (white) men, without any real justification or clarification… well, it’s monstrous. Add in his profoundly ignorant ideas that racial inequality does not exist, and that women cannot (or should not) coexist with men in the workplace, we start to see fascist leanings. All this from a psychology professor obsessed with applying ideas about lobsters to humanity.
    It is hardly a wonder how often we see white nationalists hold JP as one of their greatest modern heroes.
