Thank you so much for the video, a lifesaver as always!
Here's some extra analysis I thought of:
By capitalising "Home", she makes it sound like a proper noun when really it's a common noun, emphasises how rare it is for her to have a home - suggests she doesn't feel like she belongs.

hi Ms Wear, do you have any general tips on how to approach the paper to score higher or keep calm in the exam? i have my paper 1 exam next week, but am worried i may not be writing enough for q4 and q5. i am predicted a 9 so these videos are really useful for detailed grade 9 analysis. thank you so much for these in-depth videos, this is definitely one of the most helpful english language channels on youtube! 💗

With regards to keeping calm, positive affirmations are everything. Repeating in your head over and over again lines like 'you can do this', 'believe in yourself', 'do your best' etc, whatever works for you.
With regards to 'writing enough' for Q4 and 5, just been super strict with yourself on your exam timing. Know how much time you need to spend planning versus writing. If you can leave that exam knowing that you wrote for exactly the amount of time you should have for each question, no-one could ask for more.
One big factor that helps writing more, which students sometimes don't fully appreciate, is being incredibly prepared on the knowledge. When I say knowledge, I mean knowledge of the texts as well as knowledge of the exam (how to answer the question, how to structure your answer etc). If you don't have to spend time thinking about 'how do I answer this?' or 'what quotes should I choose?' you can get a lot more written.
      Good luck!

I would love to, but I unfortunately won't have time before the exam. All the videos I have ready to go before the exam are on the remaining language texts
