- Old Guy takes his new pearl-white Polaris Sportsman Touring 1000 XP out for the first ride into mud. No Sylvester Stallone is NOT in this video, and nothing blows up, but it is my first ever ride into mud.

I just bought this exact same ATV for my new farm in NC. Pushed the limits a little too much the first day and got ejected. Don't get ejected, Old Guy, it kind of sucks!
Thanks for posting. I'm currently waiting for my new ATV which is the same make and model. I especially enjoyed your video on removing the rear seat and turning the space into something usable. I've been wondering how I was going to do this to my machine; you've answered my question. I'm trading in a 2011 Sportsman X2 that had a very nice system for a dump box yet easily converted to a second seat. I use the box for chores around the house and was not sure how I was going to be able to make the new machine work. We trail ride a lot up here in northern Wisconsin and use a 2019 RZR XP 1000 for most of our riding, but on hot summer days we like riding the Sportsman, it's much cooler. If you ever get up this way give me a shout, we have hundreds of miles to ride and we're only 30 miles from the U.P. of Michigan whose trails are awesome as well. It works just fine for hauling an 8 ft cart around the property. I use both the ball for the larger cart, and the pin for a smaller garden cart.

Hows the paint holding up? Considering the automotive paint models but wondering how long it will last.
So far so good. Cleans up well enough. Only time will tell.
