A true man of God is humble, not prideful. Gives Jehovah the glory and not what he thinks he knows. Speaks the truth of Jehovah's word and not twist it. May the Lord God Jehovah bless this man and have mercy on his soul in Jesus name.
Pray for me y'all that I learn to be more humble and I give the Father all my glory I want none of it. But being humble is my worst enemy because what I see his hard yo accept and tolerate and it hurts so bad that it angers me greatly ...please pray for patience in the lord that all is in accordance with Father's will 😓

If god said don't speak in church without an interpreter then what business Gino teaching that u fave to talk in tongue in order to be saved there's not a scripture in the bible that saids that. Another question first church and pastor Gino if you where born without a tongue and couldn't speak in tongues does that person don't have the holy ghost or do you have scripture for that The answer is no you don't. I promise you that if you speak in another lang that is new and unknown to you in church without and interpreter then your sinning disobeying god and over looking gods commandment Don't speak in tongues in church without an interpreter so there's no reason first church ought to believe that speaking in tongues in church without an interpreter is the sign of having the holy ghost. So you see there shouldn't be no one speaking in tongues in any church without an interpreter it says it in the bible am I right. If so then there's no scripture that says only if you want to receive the holy ghost hen it's ok. It don't say that do don't do that. I admire Jennings for his boldness when it comes to defending the letter, I also admire him for the calling God has given him as pastor but this teaching and his teaching of how the sabbath is not the 7th day are prove that he has not been chosen yet. My prayer and I mean my hope is that God may choose him; spiritually I add that Gods bow may lean him towards Gods sword and lead him to see the word through the spirit . May he trully obey The Lord
The thing is, God did not call us to defend the letter of the Law. .....not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2 Corinthians 3:4-6. This man, God bless his heart, does not have a full and complete understanding, and I detect arrogance and pride, but that is just my opinion. I don't believe that he has ever experienced the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, if he had he would be different. It is likely that since he is not delivering and accurate word regarding the experience that no one in his congregation has experience the infilling, or at least they are not admitting it to him, or praying in tongues at their church. He is kinda missing the mark.
T Thompson if you read carefully what I wrote That's exactly what I mean when I said his not chosen yet for those who are chosen defend the spirit of the letter which is what gives life , saves. It is hard to find people who are chosen , if you are let me test you if I am you can test me . Answer one of this questions what does 666 mean or son of man or the saying let no man deceive you.

Rene Garcia He is zealous, that is for sure. I don't sit under him, so I don't really know if his ministry is bearing real fruit or not. I listened to part of one message and only came to this message to see if it followed the tone of the first one that I heard. HIs ministry is not for me, but if there are those who feels like he is helping them to experience God...well. I have experienced the power and presence of God many times. The Pastor that I sat under when I got saved was a really good teacher and expounder. I grew in the Lord, experienced God's presence at his ministry, was Baptized in the Holy Ghost, and answered the call to preach and teach myself. This guy is okay, I guess, for those who want to sit under him. Personally, though, I am glad he is not my leader.
Rene Garcia I don't do test Garcia....it proves or disproves nothing. Knowing what the number of man/ the mark of the beast, and knowing that Jesus Christ is the son of Man as well as being God, and how the bible speaks continuously about how to not let anyone deceive you about what the will of God is is not the test for whether or not a person is a worthwhile Christian. There are people who can quote and explain scripture better than you and I ever could, but they don't live 2 cents worth of nothing for God. They have not embraced Godly character, and their lives are not bearing fruit for the kingdom of God. In the end, Pastor Jennings, myself, you and everyone who names the name of the Lord will have to give an account to God for what we have done or failed to do in ministry. The bible does say that God will use fire to see what kind of work each of ours is. Your work will be tried with fire to see if it lasts.

Understand, there are two (2) forms of tongues in the scriptures - the gift of tongues is where you speak another earthly language that you did not know, but others can understand. The unknown tongue is your prayer language where no one but God understands. This is power, because it bypasses your intellect and allows your faith to explode as the Holy Spirit intercedes on your behalf, resulting in the "perfect prayer"! You can also receive the perfect answer when (as the Bible instructs) you pray for the interpretation. When I commit to praying in tongues every day my whole world changes - and I am changed. But interestingly, many years ago, my very first words when filled with the Holy Ghost were Hebrew & Greek. Heaven's gift!

@@williammorgan1452 My brother, here’s where you err: You make assumptions before you ask questions. You assumed I am a follower of this man, I am not. He just happened to show up in my feed. In fact, when I received your reply I completely forgot what the video was about. Secondly, there’s a difference between encouraging and badgering. I simply stated the “benefits” of receiving your prayer language, aka speaking in tongues because just as the Bible states it edifies the believer and builds you up. Why that triggered you into name calling and rebuking, I don’t know. Finally, You assumed that I am telling people they must speak in tongues to be saved, I did not. To clarify, the baptism of the fire of the Holy Ghost is not for salvation, it empowers those who are already born again (although it can happen simultaneously). I never said it was required for salvation but as Jesus said to the believers “After the Holy Ghost has come upon you, you shall receive power to be my witnesses” He told believers NOT to go forth witnessing and ministering without first receiving this power. See the difference? That’s why when you ask if every believer is casting out devils, healing the sick, etc. they probably aren’t, but they absolutely could be if they receive His power. Should I encourage others to receive this power - YES! Jesus said to do it because it gives us the power of sanctification, witnessing, moving in gifts, and spiritual warfare. Sorry if you don’t agree with the Bible or have some ought against receiving the Holy Spirit. That’s your choice, but please don’t discourage others. Shalom.
Jesus said that some of the signs accompanying the company of "those who have believed" would be speaking in tongues, casting out demons and healing the sick. He did not say that ALL these signs would accompany EVERY believer. But He said that these signs would be found among the company of "those who have believed". Why does Gino Jennings and so many other preachers place a huge emphasis on tongues as evidence of the Holy Spirit, but yet conveniently fail to mention casting out demons and healing the sick? So every believer need not have all these gifts. Neither need every church have all these gifts. But they will be found in the whole church worldwide. The Holy Spirit sovereignly decides whom to give the gifts to.
Acts 2:5-11 "Now there were staying in Yerushalayim religious Jews from every nation under heaven. When they heard this sound, a crowd gathered; they were confused because each one heard the believers speaking in his own language. Totally amazed, they asked, “How is this possible? Aren’t all these people who are speaking from the Galil? How is it that we hear them speaking in our native languages? We are Parthians, Medes, Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Y’hudah, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia, Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome; Jews by birth and proselytes; Jews from Crete and from Arabia. . . ! How is it that we hear them speaking in our own languages about the great things God has done?” It says, How is it that we hear them speaking in OUR native languages... Speaking in OUR own language. These other nations that gathered. Then Peter addresses with the other 11 and tells people that these people are not drunk that just spoke in the spirit about the great things God has done. The Scriptures do tell us that we should strive towards wanting to prophesy over speaking in tongues. So is it wrong for a person to want that over speaking in tongue? and what does speaking in tongue look like? Speaking in the Spirit of all the good things God has done? and is that in English etc. an actual language, rather than nonsense, which seems like most people force out and feel you're not saved if you never speak in tongues like them or do it regularly? Gino said a lot of great things, but not sure if he made his point on believers that don't speak in tongue but do prophecy, if they are saved or not saved or children of God.
The book SAYS its better to prophesy than speaking in tongues why? Because prophesying is better for the church to understand, paul didnt mean one is greater, its greater for the understanding of the church. Nd if you read futher dowm it says UNLESS theres a interpreter which would make it equal because its now equal because they are both getting the undrstanding. And if u look again it says dont forbid it. This is why alot dont speak because they fight it and they dont believe and ut tells you in the book of mark the peoplw the sign follow. Its for believers.

Who is giving the interpretation regular sinful man, or the Holy Spirit of God? Because tongues is only for the one speaking the tongue and God, not to anyone else, so Prophesying is greater because it Edifies, it brings firm Scripturual Instructions with clarity of understanding . ●Tongues is only great when it can be interpreted. ●There is no profit in speaking in tongue without an interpreter because without the interpreter of the tongue it does not bring any revelation, without the interpreter of the tongue it does not bring any knowledge and without the interpreter of the speaking in tongues it does not bring any true clear teachings of Gods Scriptures because the interpreter is absent. ●Even a harp and a flute has distinct sounds to be able to interpret which type of instrument each one is, so why would speaking in tongues be any different, why would speaking in tongues not have an interpreter in order for anyone to understand its meaning, without the interpreter, there is absolutely no understanding to the hearer, speaking in tongues can only be easily understood with an interpreter. ●Without the interpreter for the speaking in tongues, it is compared to speaking into the air and speaking into the air is, you feel the air on you when it brushes up on your body but you can not see it and you do not know the specifics of which direction it came from, leaving you with not an ounce of clairity about what you felt and no knowledge of which direction it came from; this is the exact same with the speaking in tongues with no interpreter, a person will be hearing the person speaking in tongues but not at all knowing what language is being spoken and not having an understanding of the meaning of the spoken tongues. ●Scriptures implies that speaking in tongues is a type of language, and that there are many languages but all of the languages have significance, meaning you can not have any type of language with no interpreter because unless the interpreter can translate what the spoken tongue is then the tongue being spoken has no significance, therefore leaving each person that speaks in a tongue thats does not have an interpreter they are both foreigners to each other because neither of them have an interpreter for their spoekn tongue to be able to understand each other. ●Paul states in Scriptures that since a person wants to be so gifted with a spiritual gift, let the priority of each person be that they desire to have a spiritual gift to first Edify The Church, Prophesy, *instead a person trying to be seen* by the act of them speaking in tongues knowing good and well that they don't have no interpreter and to stop trying to carnally show off in front of others while sounding and looking crazy speaking a tongue that you yourself don't even understand while obviously not having an interpreter but you looking for people to be so amazed at your so call speaking in tongues but ignorantly you speak unintelligently, with no clarity and can't nobody understand nothing you saying. (A Bit Ebonics LOL!!!) ●Scriptures teach that a person who is to speak in tongues, that they are suppose to pray to God and ask God to give them the added gift of also being able to interpret the spoken tongues because if not even their attempt to understand the spoken tongues without clarity it makes the tongues *Unfruitful* ●Scriptures teaches that when True Obedient Ministers/Leadership/Members are praying and singing in Truth and In Spirit that they must do both with understanding so that while they pray and sing with this understanding that those around them when they hear them they will be edified, they will clearly understand and it will cause them to improve and grow In Prayer and Grow n Spirit With God. ●And With Praying and Singing In Truth and In Spirit Those Who Hear You Will Also Be Able To Be In Agreeance With Your Spiritual Praying And They Will Be Able To Be In Spiritual Agreeance With Your Singing and Then You Will Be In Agreeance With Theirs Because Everyone Will Be Praying and Everyone Will Be Singing In The Same Spirit and That Same Spirit Is The Spirit of Clarity and Truth of Gods Scriptures, Now All Are Edified, Now All Are Clear and Now All Understand, Now All Can Give Thanks ●Paul stated that yes he was thankful for being able to speak more tongue than the rest but Paul continued to urgently express how much more important it is to speak clearly the understandings of Gods Scriptures so that many can also be easily taught and so that many can easily understand.

Speaking with other tongues is the primary example that you are filled with The Holy Ghost. When you pour water into a cup until it over flows that's an example of the cup being filled. The spilling out is the same as a person that has been filled with The Holy Ghost , there is an utterance that comes out or spills out of your mouth.

The day of Pentecost was an act of God blessing upon the nations to show His great works and everybody that was present that spoke another language that was a different language from the Galilaeans understood the language that the Galilaeans was speaking!!! The mighty works of God!!! That did not mean that everybody that accepted Jesus as their savior born of the Spirit of God would speak in tongues!!! Are all Apostles?Are all prophets?Are all teachers?Are all workers of miracles?..Do all speak with tongues?Do all interpret?No,No,No!!! But covet earnestly the best gifts! If tongues are your gift from God bless are you!If healing is your gift from God bless are you!Paul said himself he would show you a more excellent way more than speaking in another language!!! He said:Abideth FAITH,HOPE,LOVE,these three;but the greatest of these is LOVE! You know why?Beautiful God is LOVE!!! Not tongues!!!

What about the Ethiopian eunich? IT never says that you must speak in tongues to know you have the gift of the Holy Spirit, and that is not what Peter said as the doctrine of baptism. Remember what he said, “Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’” Sure the speaking in tongues happens when the apostles lay hands on people, but do all speak in tongues? 1 Corinthians 12:29-31 29Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? 31But eagerly desire the greater gifts. Also there is only one baptism, and I do recognize that people have a tendency to stamp something a doctrine although we have more liberty in Christ. People have told me that there are two baptisms, but I think the only two baptisms mentioned is the Baptism of repentance from John, and the Baptism of the Spirit. A man told that the baptism of water is where you receive the indwelling of the Spirit but not the filling. Only the power of God will prove some men to be false. The baptism of John the baptist in water still had to be dealt with in the book of Acts because people were not baptized in Jesus name or in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit prior to the ascension, but only after the filling of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. Take a look here in Ephesians 4:4-6: 4There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5one Lord, one faith, ONE BAPTISM; 6one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Do you see what I see? ONE BAPTISM! Not a baptism of the Spirit and a baptism of the water. That is because the only baptism in Christ is the water baptism which is of the Spirit and how we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit as Peter replied in Acts 2:38. Now part of the signs and wonders that the apostles showed, I do believe had to do with the laying on of hands to impart or make way for people to speak in tongues as a sign from God. But this leaves the Ethiopian eunich with no filling of the Spirit. Most people do not speak in tongues, which means they are not apart of the body if one believes that doctrine. No once again I show you that there is more freedom than the apostle Gino reveals. 13 For we were all baptized by ONE SPIRIT so as to form one body-whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free-and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. IF ALL ARE BAPTIZED BY ONE SPIRIT SO AS TO FORM ONE BODY, THEN ALL MUST SPEAK IN TONGUES, AND AND PAUL SAYS, DO ALL HAVE GIFTS OF HEALING? DO ALL SPEAK IN TONGUES? This apostle has to reconcile these things in his own own. He knows he cherry picked and did not deal with the sufficient relevant counsel of the Word of God.
Further more I don`t think most preachers today understand that speaking in tongues in the book of Acts was so the early church could spread the gospel to people that spoke different languages then them, and would be used in the last days to speak to the world when they are delivered up by the antichrist. Mark 13.9-10 Last but not lease, I believe that speaking in tongues is not a sign that you must do to show that you have the Holy Spirit, It is only for those that seek a sign, and is more than likely faked by many and brings in the question of what kind of spirit is it.
You're correct amundo! Paul tells us that the purpose of tongues is to either edify the church and/or serve as a sign to UNBELIEVERS, so why do so many charismatics and other cult-like factions in Christianity teach this false doctrine that a believer must speak in tongues as evidence of salvation? The Bible clearly teaches that salvation comes only through the shed blood of Jesus on Calvary (Romans 3:25; 5:9; Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:20; Hebrews 9:22; Revelation 1:5; etc.). However, those whom Jesus Christ has saved and have been given the gift of tongues in accordance with the Bible and as a sign to the unbelievers, knowing that they will gladly use their gift appropriately.
its amazing how people get so offended by a real pastor preaching the truth. women really hate to hear him saying it shouldn't be women preachers. its not him word this is in the bible so why get mad at him get mad at God and see how far you get. this guy has to get a good teacher because people get so hurt over his strong words and delivery but I know from studying my bible people was offended my Jesus and so many others that told Gods real truth.
Wayne Gates you must not have come into contact with many Holy Ghost Anointed preachers to think this is preaching. The guy is off as two left shoes and has a very very very elementary understanding of the topics he attempts to teach on. To say that the bible teaches that women can't preach is beyond rediculous and his clear misunderstanding of tongues is just as rediculous. Talking fast and loud doesn't make one a preacher,my ou must be called and anointed to preach the word properly.

Apostle gino didnt give a proper explanation on tongues, it is *better* to to prophesy than to speak in an unknwn tongue... 1 Cor.14:4 The one who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but the one who prophesies edifies the Church. 5 I wish that all of you could speak in tongues, but I would Rather have you prophesy. He did explain it using the scriptures. Is there a better way? Paul gives prophecy the preference in terms of edification for the church. All the gifts have their relevance. Paul speaks in tongues too. 1 Corinthians 14:18. The only lesson here to be learnt is don't speak to your congregation in an unknown tongue without an interpreter because it won't edify anyone. But still speak by yourselves and to God...

Paul writing to Christians and genuine believers would not say "I wish you all spoke with tongues" b. Paul wouldn't say the person who have the gift of prophecy is greater than the person with the gift of tongues because all believers (who have the Holy Spirit) would be speaking in tongues. Question, where in scriptures does it say that someone spoke a natural language that was not their native language? The scriptures are the language of God, in which are unknown unto natural man, this is why they must be interpreted. Gods' Word is written in many different languages, but natural man can't understand them without an interpreter. God is one and his language is one, but it is written in many tongues, but only understood by one Spirit. No matter what natural language you hear the scriptures in they must be interpreted spiritually, in order to properly understand them.

Pastor Jennings is wrong. No Apostle nor Jesus himself taught that speaking in tounges is the evidence of the holy ghost. Acts nor any other scripture tells a man that he must speak in tounges to show proof to man nor God that he has the Holy Ghost. At 7:30 he explains three different versions of tongues in that a man hearing the word for the first time the word is a new language (tongue) to you, speaking in someone elses language that you do not already know, and speaking in a language that is spiritually decerned. But at 5:05 they read actual scripture saying that they heard them speak in tongues and magnify God, they heard in a language that they understood, not spiritually decerned. The scripture must be rightly divided, what tongue is the scripture talking about? How did they know what was being said? Cor 14:28 says But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and God. Who is interpreting what Gino is say? Have you ever heard one message where any of these followers understand what he or anyone else who is speaking in tongue is saying? The Apostle Paul broke down how tongues work, who they are for and who can do it and where. Not one time did he say it was the evidence of the Holy Ghost. Not one time did he say that you had to do it as pastor Jennings fluently does in an open service against Pauls teachings. If anyone can prove otherwise with bible let me know. Today it is common to hear different nationalities speak different languages, so you are not moved. When God gives you a tongue 100% of the time, there will be an interpreter. No interpreter, God is not the authour of the language you hear. Guard your heart.

He was baptized and received the Holy Ghost and we must be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost. He was holy and walked in righteousness and we must be holy and walk in righteousness. He died and rose again, and we must die to the things of this world and rise to walk in the newness of life. He prayed to the father showing us how to pray to the father. I don't believe that he has ever experienced the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, if he had he would be different. It is likely that since he is not delivering and accurate word regarding the experience that no one in his congregation has experience the infilling, or at least they are not admitting it to him, or praying in tongues at their church. He is zealous, that is for sure. I don't sit under him, so I don't really know if his ministry is bearing real fruit or not.
I listened to part of one message and only came to this message to see if it followed the tone of the first one that I heard. HIs ministry is not for me, but if there are those who feels like he is helping them to experience God...well.
I have experienced the power and presence of God many times. The Pastor that I sat under when I got saved was a really good teacher and expounder. I grew in the Lord, experienced God's presence at his ministry, was Baptized in the Holy Ghost, and answered the call to preach and teach myself.
This guy is okay, I guess, for those who want to sit under him. Personally, though, I am glad he is not my leader.

Understand, there are two (2) forms of tongues in the scriptures - the gift of tongues is where you speak another earthly language that you did not know, but others can understand. The unknown tongue is your prayer language where no one but God understands. This is power, because it bypasses your intellect and allows your faith to explode as the Holy Spirit intercedes on your behalf, resulting in the "perfect prayer"! You can also receive the perfect answer when (as the Bible instructs) you pray for the interpretation. When I commit to praying in tongues every day my whole world changes - and I am changed. But interestingly, many years ago, my very first words when filled with the Holy Ghost were Hebrew & Greek. Heaven's gift!

Jesus said that some of the signs accompanying the company of "those who have believed" would be speaking in tongues, casting out demons and healing the sick. He did not say that ALL these signs would accompany EVERY believer. But He said that these signs would be found among the company of "those who have believed". Why does Gino Jennings and so many other preachers place a huge emphasis on tongues as evidence of the Holy Spirit, but yet conveniently fail to mention casting out demons and healing the sick?
So every believer need not have all these gifts. Neither need every church have all these gifts. But they will be found in the whole church worldwide. The Holy Spirit sovereignly decides whom to give the gifts to.

How is it that we hear them speaking in our own languages about the great things God has done?”
It says, How is it that we hear them speaking in OUR native languages... Speaking in OUR own language. These other nations that gathered. Then Peter addresses with the other 11 and tells people that these people are not drunk that just spoke in the spirit about the great things God has done.
The Scriptures do tell us that we should strive towards wanting to prophesy over speaking in tongues. So is it wrong for a person to want that over speaking in tongue? and what does speaking in tongue look like? Speaking in the Spirit of all the good things God has done? and is that in English etc. an actual language, rather than nonsense, which seems like most people force out and feel you're not saved if you never speak in tongues like them or do it regularly? Gino said a lot of great things, but not sure if he made his point on believers that don't speak in tongue but do prophecy, if they are saved or not saved or children of God.

●Tongues is only great when it can be interpreted.

●Even a harp and a flute has distinct sounds to be able to interpret which type of instrument each one is, so why would speaking in tongues be any different, why would speaking in tongues not have an interpreter in order for anyone to understand its meaning, without the interpreter, there is absolutely no understanding to the hearer, speaking in tongues can only be easily understood with an interpreter.
●Without the interpreter for the speaking in tongues, it is compared to speaking into the air and speaking into the air is, you feel the air on you when it brushes up on your body but you can not see it and you do not know the specifics of which direction it came from, leaving you with not an ounce of clairity about what you felt and no knowledge of which direction it came from; this is the exact same with the speaking in tongues with no interpreter, a person will be hearing the person speaking in tongues but not at all knowing what language is being spoken and not having an understanding of the meaning of the spoken tongues.
●Scriptures implies that speaking in tongues is a type of language, and that there are many languages but all of the languages have significance, meaning you can not have any type of language with no interpreter because unless the interpreter can translate what the spoken tongue is then the tongue being spoken has no significance, therefore leaving each person that speaks in a tongue thats does not have an interpreter they are both foreigners to each other because neither of them have an interpreter for their spoekn tongue to be able to understand each other.
●Paul states in Scriptures that since a person wants to be so gifted with a spiritual gift, let the priority of each person be that they desire to have a spiritual gift to first Edify The Church, Prophesy, *instead a person trying to be seen* by the act of them speaking in tongues knowing good and well that they don't have no interpreter and to stop trying to carnally show off in front of others while sounding and looking crazy speaking a tongue that you yourself don't even understand while obviously not having an interpreter but you looking for people to be so amazed at your so call speaking in tongues but ignorantly you speak unintelligently, with no clarity and can't nobody understand nothing you saying.

Speaking with other tongues is the primary example that you are filled with The Holy Ghost. When you pour water into a cup until it over flows that's an example of the cup being filled. The spilling out is the same as a person that has been filled with The Holy Ghost , there is an utterance that comes out or spills out of your mouth.

What about the Ethiopian eunich? IT never says that you must speak in tongues to know you have the gift of the Holy Spirit, and that is not what Peter said as the doctrine of baptism. Remember what he said, “Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’”
Sure the speaking in tongues happens when the apostles lay hands on people, but do all speak in tongues? 1 Corinthians 12:29-31 29Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? 31But eagerly desire the greater gifts.
Also there is only one baptism, and I do recognize that people have a tendency to stamp something a doctrine although we have more liberty in Christ. People have told me that there are two baptisms, but I think the only two baptisms mentioned is the Baptism of repentance from John, and the Baptism of the Spirit. A man told that the baptism of water is where you receive the indwelling of the Spirit but not the filling. Only the power of God will prove some men to be false. The baptism of John the baptist in water still had to be dealt with in the book of Acts because people were not baptized in Jesus name or in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit prior to the ascension, but only after the filling of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. Take a look here in Ephesians 4:4-6:
4There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5one Lord, one faith, ONE BAPTISM; 6one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Do you see what I see? ONE BAPTISM! Not a baptism of the Spirit and a baptism of the water. That is because the only baptism in Christ is the water baptism which is of the Spirit and how we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit as Peter replied in Acts 2:38. Now part of the signs and wonders that the apostles showed, I do believe had to do with the laying on of hands to impart or make way for people to speak in tongues as a sign from God. But this leaves the Ethiopian eunich with no filling of the Spirit. Most people do not speak in tongues, which means they are not apart of the body if one believes that doctrine.

Further more I don`t think most preachers today understand that speaking in tongues in the book of Acts was so the early church could spread the gospel to people that spoke different languages then them, and would be used in the last days to speak to the world when they are delivered up by the antichrist. Mark 13.9-10 Last but not lease, I believe that speaking in tongues is not a sign that you must do to show that you have the Holy Spirit, It is only for those that seek a sign, and is more than likely faked by many and brings in the question of what kind of spirit is it.
You're correct amundo! Paul tells us that the purpose of tongues is to either edify the church and/or serve as a sign to UNBELIEVERS, so why do so many charismatics and other cult-like factions in Christianity teach this false doctrine that a believer must speak in tongues as evidence of salvation? The Bible clearly teaches that salvation comes only through the shed blood of Jesus on Calvary (Romans 3:25; 5:9; Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:20; Hebrews 9:22; Revelation 1:5; etc.). However, those whom Jesus Christ has saved and have been given the gift of tongues in accordance with the Bible and as a sign to the unbelievers, knowing that they will gladly use their gift appropriately.

He did explain it using the scriptures. Is there a better way? Paul gives prophecy the preference in terms of edification for the church. All the gifts have their relevance. Paul speaks in tongues too. 1 Corinthians 14:18.
The only lesson here to be learnt is don't speak to your congregation in an unknown tongue without an interpreter because it won't edify anyone. But still speak by yourselves and to God...

a. Paul writing to Christians and genuine believers would not say "I wish you all spoke with tongues"
b. Paul wouldn't say the person who have the gift of prophecy is greater than the person with the gift of tongues because all believers (who have the Holy Spirit) would be speaking in tongues.

Question, where in scriptures does it say that someone spoke a natural language that was not their native language? The scriptures are the language of God, in which are unknown unto natural man, this is why they must be interpreted. Gods' Word is written in many different languages, but natural man can't understand them without an interpreter. God is one and his language is one, but it is written in many tongues, but only understood by one Spirit. No matter what natural language you hear the scriptures in they must be interpreted spiritually, in order to properly understand them.

Pastor Jennings is wrong. No Apostle nor Jesus himself taught that speaking in tounges is the evidence of the holy ghost. Acts nor any other scripture tells a man that he must speak in tounges to show proof to man nor God that he has the Holy Ghost. At 7:30 he explains three different versions of tongues in that a man hearing the word for the first time the word is a new language (tongue) to you, speaking in someone elses language that you do not already know, and speaking in a language that is spiritually decerned. But at 5:05 they read actual scripture saying that they heard them speak in tongues and magnify God, they heard in a language that they understood, not spiritually decerned. The scripture must be rightly divided, what tongue is the scripture talking about? How did they know what was being said? Cor 14:28 says But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and God. Who is interpreting what Gino is say? Have you ever heard one message where any of these followers understand what he or anyone else who is speaking in tongue is saying? The Apostle Paul broke down how tongues work, who they are for and who can do it and where. Not one time did he say it was the evidence of the Holy Ghost. Not one time did he say that you had to do it as pastor Jennings fluently does in an open service against Pauls teachings. If anyone can prove otherwise with bible let me know. Today it is common to hear different nationalities speak different languages, so you are not moved. When God gives you a tongue 100% of the time, there will be an interpreter. No interpreter, God is not the authour of the language you hear. Guard your heart.

The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled with the Holy Ghost and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man, be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD.
We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away.
Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st, John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.
It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Jesus Christ was our perfect example back to God. He was baptized and received the Holy Ghost and we must be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost. He was holy and walked in righteousness and we must be holy and walk in righteousness. He died and rose again, and we must die to the things of this world and rise to walk in the newness of life. He never talk about the fire baptism that Jesus promise that come from heaven! God is a consuming fire!! I he talks about the devil but do God allow him to see the devil? Do God give this man open vision of his glory? Heaven and hell is a real place do God show him hell! Did he ever see the lord in his body of fire . Again head knowledge preachers are not sent by God where is thee anointing that break the yoke,apostle Paul did not come with word but in power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost.

As disciples, we are growing in maturity. This can only happen if we are spiritually empowered. Jesus says he is the vine, and his disciples are the branches (John 15:5). He chose his disciples for a purpose, and in order to fulfill that purpose they had to remain connected to him, the vine (John 15:6).
