We played this yesterday and it was wonderful, my group loved it. Many lifes of triboar were lost but they were able to kill the giant with the Vonidod Fragment. Thank you for the tips on that chapter. We now continue with darathras quest and the hook of the lord from yartar and the kraken gamble.
It went awesome! They only finished fighting the diversion by the end of the session only to hear the crashing sound of the giants digging up the fragment and warding off Darathra. The giants had enough time to bring some trees from the surrounding forest with them as ammunition against the party. We will have our battle in two weeks and I’m so ready. Thanks again!

@@rohanv18 Well if we're going by golden fields, it's safe to break it up into parts just like Triboar and not use the absolutely enormous battle map that is given to you. You can tie in the Kraken story by using The Kraken's Gamble and it's plot hook that happens when your players are travelling to Yartar from Golden Fields. The best thing about this section is the trolls with the goblin catapaults so emphasize them and let your players laugh about the absurdity of spike armored goblins being launched to their deaths into the wall XD Keep it simple and it'll flow. BrynShander would be the same as well, but i'd say you can directly put in the Kraken envoys here and they would be helping the frost giants get to the center of the town looking for Artus Cimber (I hate this plotline for not going anywhere) fights against the frost giants would be extremely deadly but if your players are long range specialists like rangers wizards and warlocks, they'll be super okay until they get hit by a rock to the face. Even then, the power creep of player options is so high rn that it doesn't really matter what the PC's get hit with they''l be able to win no problem especially if they are optimised. I would heavily advise against running all three scenarios because they are basically the same skeleton with a different skin. Players arrive at town, town gets attacked, players fight off giants, players get quest, players move to yartar. so choose which one you'd like the campaign to start in and have your players start there. Keep it simple and it'll flow.
