      I can see taking the burnt couch outside away from the house, but not down the road miles away.
      Also the burn pile on the other property was still smoldering, I'm sure if the police investigators did their job correctly they could have found remnants of her clothing or even maybe some other evidence in that burn pile?

      @lovetohuntlovetohunt6241 13 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

      I agree, but sadly, now we know why their work was poor 😕
      When the evidence is really there at a crime scene, their work will come right to them!
      When the evidence is partially there at the crime scene, their work gets harder, but as they work hard, they can build a case!
      When the evidence isn't there at all at a crime scene, then statements along with accusations of this person is guilty of arson & mrdr, but their statements & accusations are only made-up out of their seized evidence, without proof to back it up, an equital is a hard working jury, who really paid attention at work !
      I'm really hearing a lot about sloppy work, uncompleted work, no follow-ups & incompetence out of DCS Workers, LEO'S, CSI'S, Atty's... & that is freakin' awful & quie scary, especially when we are living in the age of "Hey! Your tools are right here, & everything you will need is available to solve a case!" Then we find out they didn't use all of the tools, & or what is available to them, & for pete's sakes they don't even have any knowledge to do so, incompetent as ever & they still refuse to give a solvable case to others who do!
      It's just lazy & crazy😏

      Imo, this wasn't a good trial. I think anything the victim stated to anyone in LE, should most definitely be shared during the trial! Shes deceased and not able to speak anymore!
      I'm very disappointed. I also think the defense was given too much grace. Probably due to her being the Senator. Which shouldn't matter.

      @@SpiritSeekerSquad I agree wholeheartedly with everything you stated. Sad, sad, sad. I feel that *so* many people failed Terry; from the investigators, the prosecution (although they were unfortunately dealt a bad deal), to the judge not acting like a judge. Plus, I feel like the judge gave the defense attorney (who is also a state senator) *WAY* too much leeway and then at the same time he crippled the prosecution at many turns. There was also, what I felt like, victim blaming and shaming: same with the daughter, Leahann. Again, just sad. No justice for Terry.

Especially after just watching the entire Leilani Simon trial! THAT is how good LE do their work! THAT is how good trials work! 💯⚖️🎯
      The prosecution was given a lot of road blocks by the Judge! I agree! But, the prosecution also has the choice to file charges once they've gotten a case with full evidence. The DA won't file charges til they believe they have all or most of, the evidence for trial.
      This team has had 5 long years to make that happen. It's pathetic they didn't. I just don't get it. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤨🙄

    I lost track of how many detectives that was heading/dispatched to the "crime scene" and the lack of notes and/or reports and the whole processing of the "scene", or lack thereof. Pretty messy from what I could tell when those detectives/Captains took the stand.

    The Judge, Dukes, should be ashamed of himself.
    More interested in keeping his job, by staying in the good books with the Senator, than performing his duty by giving both sides a fair hearing.

    Law should be if the state brings charges against you, drags the case on for 6 years, causes you stress and financial hardship, and then are found not guilty in a jury trial the state must pay the defendant 1M dollars within 7 days, I'll bet states start doing a better job if they are going to prosecute someone.

    The jury are just as sensible as anyone else. The prosecution need to go back to the drawing board and do their homework. There's something that doesn't add up. If her husband did it, why wouldn't she says it considering the severity of her injuries? Money is key it seems
