i know im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
Thank you for this, I have just gotten into photography and to me the editing is the most important part, it's where you as an individual can show the world what story you want to tell with the image. Do you want to brighten the sky and make it look magical and red? Then do it! I'm here to learn how to add my own flair a bit more professionally. Thank you sir.
I learnt a lot, thanks for your tutorial. I am learning to do landscape photography but when I see my images it looks flat in background.i am using kit lens please advise me
interesting workflow processes there, liked how this was broken down, so thanks for that Simon, hope we'll get to see more of the processes you have, I like to see more videos like this one to compare how each person processes a photo.
Brilliant advice and insights here. I always love to see how other photographers approach editing. It is such a personal experience with no clear rights or wrongs. Great video Simon!
Thanks for the video. Really liked the "not-a-tutorial" approach instead of "7 SIMPLE THINGS TO IMPROVE YOUR PHOTOS" (although there are still a lot of really great versions of that sort of thing). Felt a lot easier to follow as I'm already familiar with the ACR/PS flow, and felt it highlighted the decision-making process a lot better. Really *seeing* the photo seems to be a much more rewarding and difficult thing to lean.
Thanks for the great comment, much appreciated! I'm trying the approach of sharing my thoughts, rather than stating how I think something should be done, because everyone is different and in many cases theres is no right or wrong.
love this! this is how I want my photos to look, now my photoshop skills are not ready to do this, do you have any step by steps of something similar to this?
Very different but still equally engaging, you both outputted class images! Glad to see your in the Rebellion 😊👍 love your touches of video editing and moving camera. Subtle and adds interest. Of course very professional cocker 👌 Reet Sithee #ChallengeEvolve
I really enjoyed this vlog Simon. A great lesson you have shared here, and as a nearly exclusive user of LR, I need to up my PS layers game! So much to learn. I will have to seek out some more detailed tutorials on the subject. I like your final edit and I think you can bin the millennial IG version.😄 Cheers, Jeff
Post-processing is a very important part of photography. I would say essential these days. Not being colour blind I couldn't say how difficult it is, but you can just focus on using the luminosity options when post-processing, making sure the light and dark areas are good. Many adjustments affect saturation, but won't change colours.
@@SimonBurnCreative thanks for the reply. I think even just doing the adjustments you mentioned, luminosity options, may cause me some issues but I'll give it a go. I haven't even tried using any post processing yet, and have only had my camera for less than a week so I'm still extremely new to it all.
A lot of people will find this very helpful 😊👍🏻
Thank you for your feedback good Sir!

I don't understand how you create the new layer by copying and paste? what do you exactly copy?
The easier way to create a new layer is go to LAYERS menu and then select DUPLICATE LAYER.
@@SimonBurnCreative thank you Simon. I already knew how to create a layer 😃 how does he create a layer of camera raw changes?
Chose this video as the beach photo is the exact location im currently editing haha. never found a more perfect video in my life
Thanks 🙏🏼😊
Very good Simon . Damn you’re fast with those spaceship buttons :-)
Lol, thanks Darren 👽🚀
Do you use photoshop or Lightroom to edit images? NOTE: My Instagram is now @SimonBurnCreative
Liked this one Simon, great to watch your processing techniques & an extra twist of comparing your edit to what you did.
Thanks for watching David, appreciate the feedback 😊

Like others, love watching to see what experienced photographers do with images, whether it's their own or someone else's.
Thanks Andy, it was fun experiment. I think John did a good job with my file too.
hi how did you get your photoshop looking like it does in the video?
Not sure what you mean Adam, are you referring to the actual workspace layout?
@@SimonBurnCreative yes i think so new to photoshop and was watching the video and got abit confused about the layout on the left hand side

Thanks Carlos, sorry it wasn't a detailed tutorial, but I'm glad it gave an idea of my workflow 😀

Thanks James! Totally agree with your thinking in all aspects of photography.
Great work sir! 😍
Thank you Ashik 😀
When I open up photoshop I'm not met with the same panel on the right hand side how do I change that to match the one in the video
maybe you have a different version of the software?
What kind of wizardry is that?! Now I need to watch that again but in slow time so it sinks in!
Ha, it's Jedi training, mixed with craft beer. Cheers Jamie! 👍

Just found this.. "Millennial Instagram image" made me laugh, so had to subscribe. Cheers!
Lol, thanks! A bit cheeky, but I think i got away with it 😎 Appreciate the sub Adam 🙏
Yum 😋 yum 😋 video bro
Thank you 😋
Keep creating yeacher
Thanks!
This tutorial helped me a lot... Many times I have to edit pictures took by a tourist... So lot of them are mediocre.
So glad it helped, appreciate the comment! 🙏
Great video mate. Great to see my image processed different ways. Less of the mediocre!! That's one of my best images 😁
Hey, I know you kept some better ones hidden away!
Really nice tutorial I'll give it a try, thank you
Thanks for commenting, appreciate it!
Thank you thank you. You have yourself a new subscriber! I'm grateful I found your channel.
Hey, thanks Alex! I've been a little busy to make new videos over the past couple of months, but more will be coming soon, so appreciate the sub 👍
Thanks mate, I enjoyed that.
Thanks!
super. You should make videos to teach photoshop pro editing.
Not sure teaching is my thing, but I may do a few more 👍
How do you get to this screen on Photoshop?
I think you mean the Camera Raw screen? You need to work with a raw file, and Camera Raw opens automatically in photoshop.
thank you
Thanks 🙂
Amazing! Subscribed 😁
Thank you! 🙏
great video!!
Thankyou!
love this! this is how I want my photos to look, now my photoshop skills are not ready to do this, do you have any step by steps of something similar to this?
Hi Sarah, Sorry, I don't do photoshop tutorials usually. I did another photoshop video recently, but again, not an in depth tutorial.
Great insight, thank you 👍
My pleasure, thanks for watching!
Really interesting Simon, I love to watch others processing their images and I think you did a fantastic job. 👍
Thanks Darren, it was a fun exercise to do.

Thanks Jeff, yes, it's a whole new level once you start playing with PS layers. Hey, the millennial IG version is growing on me me now!
Finally someone else who hates green in photos! Having said that, ignore my profile photo lol
Haha, yes, not a fan of the darker / bottle / blue greens. Don't mind the brighter yellow greens 🙂
good
How important is post processing and how difficult is it for colour blind people like myself?

@@peterwideman1425 as long you have fun playing and experimenting, that's the main thing! Have you considered black and white?
@@SimonBurnCreative so black and white could be an option and one I may lean more towards. Thanks.
I find that spending time polishing the turds teaches you loads about what you need to do in the field. I get a lot of practice 😂
When it comes to landscape photography in the UK, I think we all get loads of practice, lol.
quite often, those millenial instagram pictures end up getting more acceptance from ppl..
That is kind of agony sometimes
This is true, and why I'm quite happy to create those images when needed by clients 😀
