Rajiv mentioned that he made some pots with Guy. They are white classical Greek looking pots. Do you happen to know if they are stoneware? Are they just bisque fired? What is the stain and how it is applied? It is fired as a greenware or glaze fired? I would so appreciate your answers. Thank you so much for inspiring always.

Yes Rajiv comes up and makes pots with us a couple few times a year. Yes we use a stoneware clay body for all the white pots and a red terracotta clay body for the red pots. We do not use glaze on flower pots. The patina stain is a trade secret but play around with some different minerals and you will be able to find some fun varied results. Thank you so much for watching and the kind words. Best wishes

Thanks for another amazing demonstration..... What is the chemical that you and Guy use to highlight the small recesses of your white pots?? I have always wondered about that when looking at your pots. It gives kind of a "seasoned' appearance to brand new pots. Thank Ben.

Thanks so much for the kind words and for watching. Unfortunately what we use for the patina look is a trade secret. Sorry not to share it but my father and I both keep that close to the chest 😀

Different minerals at very different temperatures will give you a lot of varied results .. Just play around and you will find something perfect for you .. :)
