- This it the first ride on the Suzuki A100 with 848 org. miles. It was running on reg. 2 cyc. oil, I now use the Injector oil. Did not know. They plug burns out because of to much oil but now the 2nd one burned out because of cycling thru. So going to try a 3rd plug and run it around some more. It still has the Reg. from 1978. and the org. Plate. Like the guy used it 1 year parked it then My brothr in law got it in the mid 80"s and now I got it and had to KSB the tank from rust, clean petcock and clean carb. Fired right up. the tires are org. and the Head light is the Org. Stanley 007-1372. It adjust left to right. The other issue is no power to headlight. Also in video I forgot the gas was off and it died couple times bare with video.
I had a Headlight issue and will post a video on me getting it going again.
I found out the Motorcycle belonged to My cousin, Jim Hendrickson driver of the X3 modified race car from Islip,ny, Champion Nascar Modified Champ 1970.. This was his and sat around for so many years. It runs great now with the right 2cyc. oil. It is a time capsule, tires are original everything, even the hide away key and fuse behind the battery. I don,t have to restore it , cause its like new.
2/4/18 I am going to make a good complete video in spring. so come back then.
Made a new video
My Dad has one since 1980 but still works fine. It's a 6v mechanism.
0:35 sounds like my grandpas bike
My first bike! Oil injected, no mix. Ran for years.
I sold her. I kind of had no use for her and the little space it took I need. doing a new video with my project bike V45 Magna I have owned since 1982 completely disassembles in my garage and the New 1994 Virago i just got. Thanks for watching the Suzuki A100, Starts like Ran like new. She was a 924 mile bike. Have fun with her new owner.
what's the petrol - oil mix 50/50 ha . She's looking fabulous brand new !
Rob, I did not know there was injector oil, all is well. Runs like new because it only has 924 miles on it. It has the original inspection sticker dated 1978, and I have the title from 1977, and the lean payed in full. from 1978. It stopped in time. The head light is not the original, I have that one, Stanley #### bulb. The original tires. original. One kick and it running. I drive it every week around the yard. The Chrome came off the front fender and the rear is rolling a little, so i don't touch. I will be going to make another video soon. I noticed there are not many of these around anymore. Go-For A100 1977 with papers holding up like original.
Thanks for reply ,my pal had same bike 1979 , he bought it new , i was dead jealous . She's not bad at all for a 40 year old bike . i'll watch out for your next video . Tks
