Thanks for the shout out. 😅 Well, I have no problem holding you accountable and being the stern sabom [사범] if it leads to great results. 😜
You might not be aware of it but you did a bunch of things right:
    1) When it comes to running it's not so much about the objectively measurable time/pace but about the effort you feel you're putting in.
    2) Make yourself aware of you body and how it moves, how the steps land, etc. With your legs tied together you clearly had to do this. Moreover, you found a mechanically more efficient way to run after talking to the couple.
    3) You didn't go at it alone. By making exercise a group activity it's suddenly not a chore anymore. Not only that, you were productive filming a video.
FYI you'd be surprised how quickly the human body builds up stamina. Running an hour was actually kinda overkill. So if you and your friends feel like it, go for more runs after your body has recovered from the shock of going from 0K to 5K. Two more runs and you're on track (pun intended). But I'm talking 15 - 20min runs with an easy effort. No matter how quickly you think you have to run, it's definitely slower. 😉
My question now is: What's the endgame? Is there an (athletic) activity you and your friends are building towards?

I honestly thought we would run it in 40 minutes or so but running with our legs tied is a lot more difficult than expected😂 pacing was the hardest part of it! But in terms of endgame… not sure, me and my friends all just want to be fit!

@@ChuchoAlbarran So make it a concrete goal. Do you wanna be able to do a certain hike up a mountain (walking down after the fact is actually worse than scaling a mountain IMO. Especially, if there's a lot of loose rubble.)... But hiking is really just walking... 😅 Do you want to build up to a specific athletic skill? Many choose taking part in a specific competition as goal... Personally, I'm not partial to those and it kinda feels like some external pressure instead of doing it for its own sake/for yourself.
