I found this channel when I was coming out of suicidal depression and I have to say it has been one of the most inspirational sources of happiness and hope for me over the years. I’ve been in a few year long journey to try and “fix” myself. I’ve always struggled with social anxiety and low self esteem and for the past couple years I’ve been really trying to end it. A few days ago I stumbled upon self love and acceptance. My journey has brought me everywhere, and it finally landed on my past memories being the source of my problems, and so I started trying to “repair” those bad memories. I started doing this by forgiving myself and the people who have wronged me in those memories, and then it moved on to loving myself and loving those people. After 2 days of trying to do that I’ve finally started to see real results. I feel much more comfortable with myself and my self esteem is higher. And now I get into this video, and the first thing I hear is that every teaching Leo has done leads up to this. So I think I may now be at the end of my journey. It’s still a little early to say, but I think I’m gonna make it finally.

Leo's presence gives me so much peace and happiness.
I had an lsd trip. Wanted to see what it was and experiment with it. I had addiction problems and to be honest i was in quite a bad situation with my self. Then boom I forgot who I was and I saw this white light and I don’t mean imagining it. I fucking saw it, like reality was a cartoon that just cracked and there was this pure white light. I felt unconditional love so powerful that I started crying from happiness and joy and I felt things with my body I didn’t know I can even experience realizing that I am everything and everyone at the same time.. I know what you are talking about and this is happening more and more randomly around the world. But Leo know that there are people who understand what you are saying. I was a hardcore atheist and thought this life is all random and now my views are so different. Something happened in the past and we forgot what we are and who we are. If everyone felt this people would not be working for money and greed instead they will work to help others, because those other people are us, it’s all you there is no one else. Everyone is you. Thank you for your work keep waking people up!!

But what I do know is that actual love or self-love is in no way a side-effect of the self-preservation instinct. That is a misunderstanding. Love has no opposite. It just is.

I don't love when It's difficult to love. I almost took offense when you said sleezy Wall Street types, I am a retired Stockbroker. lol. But then I realized you are right. They are empty and hollow inside and it hurt me when I found that out by experience.
One day sitting in a wheelie chair I got stuck. Just looking at my arms and then I realized everything in my life I'd created in my own hallucination. Even you Leo you're just in my mind and even when you reply my brain is like ok generating reply from leo almost like one big dream or vr game. But within this realisation I came accross this beautiful feeling of inherent belonging as if all the guid lines I'd ever learned didn't matter because it was the story that I'd told. Anyway it gave this freedom, self love and acceptance. I stopped judging everything because it was all my creations anyway.
The self love that a coach showed to a school shooter on the news a few weeks ago when he embraced the shooter and hugged him was absolutely heart warming

was not a school shooter. the kid was saying he had no intent to harm anyone other than himself from the moment he pulled the gun all the way through till he was embraced. what you witnessed on that video was a stoped suicide through a fearless unconditional act of love, not a school shooting. but during that level of an emotional situation, it could have escalated into a school shooting/er easily.

@@McDoodle44 I would say if you are in search of a method you are already going in the wrong direction. Any method for enlightment is used to make you understand that there is no method to get to the present moment and be enlightened, you can only be. In fact there is no way to not be and therefore you just have to become aware of it, you are already where you seek to be my friend :) hope it helps

Even if you are already enlightened and you can only become aware of it, the question would be what method to use to get aware of it.

There's this guy in my grad class that snears and talks under his breath whenever I speak out. Finding the self love to love him has proven difficult, but I am trying. The alternative is to demonize and project my own insecurities onto him, which is a reality I'd rather not manifest. Maybe I will ask how he's doing today if the opportunity presents itself. 58:38 You make it easy for me. My son is a meth addict and has been mostly homeless for the last 10 years. I’ve been trying to love him unconditionally with acceptance of who he is. He needs love. It is so hard for everyone to love him and this causes more guilt and pain, but if you just give up the idea that anyone has to be or do anything to make you happy, it’s easy!

I'd say that the current goal for your son is to self-love more than he loves the comfort of the high that he searches in meth, as well as know that the love that meth makes him feel will never be as genuine, gratifying and stably long-lasting as the love he can develop if he understands that he can put in a little bit of effort into developing this love, slowly but surely shifting the impulsive behaviours towards conscious, healthy decision-making. Your job is to remind him that he is able to make changes, however smell they may be, on top of validating every but of effort towards the right direction and to be understanding and loving when gently confronting him, helping him raise his awareness on why he'll want to make the changes. Try to recognise what triggers his impulses, so that they can be avoided during the recovery.
You seem like a caring father and I respect that, but right now you'll want to show yourself that I'm right and put in the work to implement these factors, your son and yourself will thank you when you've succeeded to help him kick the habit.

The thing ruined the early stages of my life was this... not loving myself. I never knew that it was my natural right, people around me gave me that hint that loving oneself meant selfishness, it was something like a sin. Ive been through a lot of theories, practices, many teachings, which helped me throughout years to evolve and unblock,but untimatively I came to realization that selflove is the key to litteraly everything. It takes time to develop selflove, and it takes many steps, efforts, unblocking and shadowork to be able to come to selflove, but once you come to it, it is like swimming in Gods essence. ❤ Selflove teaches personal boundaries, taking care of yourself on so many levels, respecting yourself. No selfcriticizm, no selfpunishment, no victim mentality. Consequently, you start respecting and understanding others.
This is an excellent video! I've really been practicing loving myself more everyday for a couple years almost! The last time I tripped in March I really enjoyed looking at myself in the mirror my psychological and physiological flaws didn't show up in the mirror. I've really healed the pain and suffering inside of me! It's really helped me see people in a more spiritual way which has helped me be more patient and loving towards them!

The feeling I get when I look at, or think of, people feels like I'm a non-human entity observing a different species, appreciative of the intricacies of their thoughts and behaviors... almost like people are children figuring out life.
It becomes easier to understand the shortcomings of societies and individuals.
Just now coming out of that long dry spell of simply observing society and detaching myself from it. It's important to go through this spell, but to be completely honest, I feel like I was distracting myself, giving myself time to consider everything I am learning. And in a way, I was also creating more ego, I was detaching myself, but becoming attached to my own observances at the cost of being involved and in life.
Your videos were there when I was lost, when I was hurt, when I needed guidance and two months ago right after my father died, your Video about death came out (funny timing) and it was like a hand that picked me up from the ground again. Now I'm back to university and I'm focusing on myself and my healing then this video came out, I feel like I've been growing with you and I do love you, not because of the help and support you've been providing but just for being. Keep expanding my dear :)

@Richard Alpert If one is fully awaked it wouldn't matter. All suffering comes from inacceptance of reality. If you completely, fully accept the assrape, it would just be another amazing experience of infite reality. But it's really hard to reach that state..
@Richard Alpert I have experienced that I reduce suffering when I accept and let go. I practice this everyday and this effect gets stronger and stronger. For sure I dont KNOW if one would never suffer again when he or she completely accepts everything, because I am not yet fully awaked, but it seems very obvious when you just analyze suffering and then take the experience I had.
skyze if your cherished child dies & u accept it... he is gone... he suffers no more...but the bereaved heart suffers less if u accept & not fight it...u have the times & experiences with him to remember... so grateful for these

Leo. you really ARE awesome. I have known this since I was a very little girl....I can live in this state so effortlessly until I have conflicts with 'others' who are not understanding this yet....but it IS the only truth.
Recently had to practice self love at work. Declined lifting residents at a care center to keep my back safe. So grateful for the awareness and growth that empowered me to care about myself regardless of the judgement of others...who appear to lack their own self love and wish to diminish those who stand firm in self care.

I can honestly say that you're one of or are THE most intelligent and wisest person I've ever watched their videos. This one about true self-love can literally change our lives if we keep coming back to the fact that whatever problems we face or create it's because we don't have enough self love. One thing about being better at this is. Is it really isolates you, because not everyone thinks this way. It becomes/ affects your personality in a way.

I suggest you make an episode on the power of Humour as a tool for spiritual growth, high consciousness humour is a natural consequence of a deeper understanding of reality. And I think it could help many of your subscribers that take their journey way too seriously at times (myself included) creating a lot of unnecessary resistance. Conscious Humour is a powerful tool for Letting Go and Self-Love.

1. If people want others to love themselve conditionally, just become useful for others. You are not useful but you are blaming and question about love all the time.
2. People love others becoz they are useful. we find out any possibility to love others is just looking for how to make people as a tool. that is business.
3. There is no self-love becoz we follow the rule of conditional love. surely but never find the answers.
4. When Leo says this, I try to unconditionally love him, there's a shock that peace and quiet come to me, and I have nothing to take care about Leo, shame.
5. I am sorry to all people, that I never unconditional love people. I even want to say sorry to people who I never know.
6. There is strong energy fills my body while I'm considering about unconditional love, I want call this energy as "humble".
7. Different channels help you to solve all tiny emotional problems. But Leo is not solving those, Leo took you to the root.
