Mate, at home here in Australia I try to find Aussie pilots to watch - but there aren't many, but for me - you tick all the boxes and you make some ripper videos! Keep up the good work.
Currently in pilot training at almost 16 and will probably get license at 17. You were a major inspiration for this dream and inspired me to possibly start my own channel since I just got a go-pro that I was going to put on my head to film. Thank you for inspiring me.
I love your flying videos!!! I know A LOT of pilots, but you're one of the coolest I know! I pick up SO MANY tips & techniques from watching your videos. You have the best pilot attitude & demeanor. I flew my Beechcraft Sierra today from Topeka KS to Anniston AL... I hope to one day meet you and your wife at an airport cafe for lunch and talk aviation. You're a fun, delightful couple and inspiration to other pilots!😊
As a student going for a PPL, I really appreciate you voicing your thought process as you fly as well as interpreting what ATC's saying 😉 Great job on that gusty day!
7:39 I heard 1GT on the radio, I bet it was one of the planes from the Georgia Tech flying club...brings back memories! Flying into PDK isn't easy in the best of times, much less with that much wind. Nice job!
I love your little Cessna, it's clearly well taken care of, loved, appreciated, used, and on top of that looks beautiful! reminds me of the Trabant 601 I feel like Cessna 150 is the sky equivalent of that Lmao
Summer flying is always nuts, bumpy as hell. If I'm not out first thing in the morning forget it, I'll wait till the evening. Florida Summers are bad with storms and bumps.
Great work throughout. On your roll out wouldn’t one hold the control wheel to full left aileron into the cross wind to prevent the gusts from trying to lift that wing up and topple you over on the taxi? Same as taking off in a cross wind - hold full aileron into the cross wind and ease it off as the controls come alive, keeping wings level, till Vr. otherwise the into wind wing starts flying first and you can lose control.
Probably a dumb question but how did you “monitor” PDK weather while still on Gwinnett’s frequency at 2:15? I usually monitor by listening to both at the same time without the mute feature for the second frequency
Love watching your videos as inspiration, becoming a private pilot at 17 myself.
how much did cost?
@@therathergoodengineer9285i think it will cost 200k
@@derrenplaysDamn, the license costs 4-5x more than this guy’s plane.
Usually about 20k, you added an extra 0
Usually about 15-20k

Excellent video and excellent landing in that wind! This was like a text book lesson! Thanks for the ride!

Love your videos, man. Was flying a Piper Arrow yesterday morning! Beautiful weather lately
Landing was butter, awesome job with all that wind.

😬 That was some wind!! You are a star! ⭐️
That 18kt- 22kt wind at LZU that day was wild! Was flying with one of my private students. Great video!
Awesome video! I'm planning to do this same route in the near future!

I’m getting my pilots license and I’m going to get a little Cessna
i dont think i could afford it sadly, if i were to though, a glass cockpit would be everything to me.
what type?
@@TheVan-362 idk yet
Departure controller has a lovely voice ❤ I could listen to her all day lol

Was using liveatc to track some flights in and out of pdk and heard you 👍
Love your videos I hope to become a pilot just like you
Local to both of these airports a my son and I will plane watch at both locations. We are closer to LZU. Glad to see my local fields on TH-cam.
Love your vids bro!

Cant rlly believe these vids after being on msfs for all my life
So inspirational
Love your videos! Just about to start taking flight lessons! Just a question. Have you ever done a night flight?
Yep, lots!
I’m just wondering, why do you say “gear is down” before you land if it’s a plane that doesn’t have retractable gear?
It’s a joke mostly, but also a good habit since I occasionally fly planes with retractable gear!
Good job
Thank you for letting us know, at 6:19, that your gear is down. 😅
Yeah it's funny but I think it has to do with the radio I could be wrong. But yeah it's pretty funny 😂
Question: Do you fly an experimental aircraft?
Nice
How do you process all that info after take off
What traffic alert and display do you have?
Now I'm just curious where the scout is 🤣
Probably a dumb question but how did you “monitor” PDK weather while still on Gwinnett’s frequency at 2:15? I usually monitor by listening to both at the same time without the mute feature for the second frequency
What kneeboard do you use?
How do you get it set up so you only hear PDK weather when LZU is quiet?
My radio has a “monitor” button that plays the standby frequency when the primary frequency is quiet!
does your c150 have autopilot??
What avionics are you using on your panel?
Garmin Aera 660, Garmin 400W, Garmin GTR radio, Bendix KT-74 transponder!
Cessna N22318, w, wait a second....... g, go on go on....
I saw your plane
I dont know how but i want to be a Cessna 150 Pilot too because ITS a cool airplane but i Take pills so i dont know If im allowed
