This is my first UFC and I am STRUGGLING 😂 Countershots are so hard for me to get the timing of. This game is incredibly vast and complex. It’ll feel so awesome when I’m able to win online by a method other than pure luck!
At the core it follows the same principles. However the fact that depending on the move levels for your counters will increase the likelihood for cut damage/busted nose/doctor stoppages is exactly the same as 4, which increases the chance for outright koes and lessens the chance for people to survive the way they did, is definitely different from 4 and makes your fighter pick matter a lot more.
Waiting for this game to drop in price on Christmas to at least 50$, game really doesn’t deserve more than 50$. It’s not a new game, just an expansion, and new expansions usually cost between 30-50$ today

played this over a friends house on Xbox, I was pressing/flicking Right stick and it done nothing, Y was going for a clinch instead of a punch and B for a takedown instead of a kick, seems like all I need to do is just spam X to do all randomised punches, is there any different button layouts? I think I was on assisted for the ground game but couldnt find anything for the stand up, im so use to ufc3 layout
I haven't seen a tutorial yet on how to do the stepping jab/cross?? Am I missing something I can't find how to do this strike, not to be confused with the running /dashing jab /cross. This animation is completely different. Any help would be appreciated 🙏

This was a problem in the beta too, he didn't announce their height, weight, "fighting out of" etc. Wondering if this will be fixed by launch? Also the ref or cutman doesn't check them before going into the octagon either. Don't know if they removed it, hopefully you can pass it along so they can fix it! Also I asked Martial but I don't think he saw my comment, can you confirm if we will have access to a "performance mode" for full 60 fps including walkouts and cutscenes? Since UFC 4 had this I'm hoping UFC 5 does as well. I appreciate the content bro

I have been having trouble landing after slipping punches. I always pull counter on people who throw a jab rear hook combo. My person takes way too long to throw my counter hook and I either get hit or they block it. Is there like a timing window or something I’m missing lol makes head movement not seem worth the risk for me when I can’t even get a successful counter after successful head movement
So with the block counter (i cant get it to work anyway) but when you face the ai they can basically block counter everything from front kicks to body shots and they usually counter with lunging straights. Could you include this in part 2? Feel like itd be mega op online
Even though the overall gameplay isn't that different, i won't get past Div 2-3 in Ranked with way more losses than wins.... in UFC 4 i always moved around 10-12. Maybe only the top players moved over? 😅

Make sure you're not holding block while doing the movement and you're also not holding other directions. Counters are slower out of movement with block and moves in general are the fastest when your feet are planted (not moving).
@@SlCKNESS_ Just did all that in the record striking feature and it’s so inconsistent for me. 4/10 times the hook comes back fast enough to land before the block. I don’t get it because when I practiced with a single jab and hook I could return every time. So it’s something to do with blocking then pulling back then hooking that’s an issue for me. I mean in this video it tells you what to do when someone throws a hook. At that point it is on you. I can make a video on it separately but ultimately it will come down to you actively doing so.
I hate the knockdowns looks unrealistic ever! And the cinematic KO doesn’t look good at all it’s like they made a Knockout Movie lol. No wonder this game is 1.2 /5

Nope. Guys who use spinning strikes will have to adjust now. Take your time in practice mode and you'll get the hang of it.
