We’ve been wanting to make an animatronic of the INK Demon from ‘Bendy and the Dark Revival’ for FOREVER, but we’ve been putting it off because we had no idea how to create something so big and sculptural. Before our last project, all of our custom animatronics were either made of PVC pipes, wiper motors and servos, or were makeovers of Spirit Halloween animatronics, neither of which would be strong enough to animate the Ink Demon. When we built our Dog Day animatronic from Poppy Playtime, we were introduced to the world of pneumatics and steel frames and we knew that this was the solution. Jay got a crash course in welding from Jaimie’s dad and we got to work.
We started by welding together the ink demon’s steel frame, then we covered it in a combination of pool noodles, wire, and aluminum foil to create his muscles and bones. His head was custom modeled and 3D printed, and we sculpted on top of that to give him some extra drippiness. His whole head and body were covered in black-tinted silicone to give him that inky look. Finally we added in the finishing touches like his glove and bowtie and painted his teeth. The whole thing was animated with a prop controller from Purgatory Props.
Joey Drew Studios created an amazing character with the INK Demon and we hope he did him justice! We love making custom DIY Halloween animatronics, so let us know who you’d like to see us build next :)
Thanks for watching and Stay Wicked, y’all!

Well, I want to do in a while is make Fnaf animatronics real life. Because of you guys.😊
I LOVE YOU GUYS FOR MAKING THIS❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Can you guys build a ticket booth character please
The way it looks IDENTICAL to the game is crazy to me
Both Jamie and Jay are ridiculously skilled in cranking out complex designs to order at this point.
aside from the limp arm, missing glove on the hand and basically every fine tiny little detail that is in the game that they simply cannot humanly translate to the exact T in real life, yeah i guess its pretty good
IKR
YESS!
I love how literally every new build there is one step that is further deconstructed. Each animatronic becomes a little more WM specific and a lot more elegant.
Looking forward to see what you dream up next.

Hi guys wow nice video, it's really an excellent representation of the demon ink , listen for next time can you please build MANGLE from fnaf 2
Imagine you going to bed, later going back to the kitchen secretly for some snacks while your parents are asleep, and then you bump against something, you turn on the light and you see this thing staring straight up at you in the eyes with its teeth sticking out like that.

I'm a welder and if you're a beginner for welding, I would recommend MIG welding. It's so easy that you could teach a child to do it. Just make sure your welding mask tint is no lower than 11 or 12. Make sure you're wearing a long sleeve non-flammable jacket like wool. Same for pants. Make sure you're wearing leather, laceless, steel-toed boots. Make sure your pants legs are tucked inside your boots. Don't forget your welding gloves. That's just safety stuff. If you wanna know more please feel free to ask me. I would love to tell y'all more. ❤
Excellent advice. Thanks!

I bet the neighbors have a lot of fun watching their yard around Halloween. There's a couple not far from my house that goes all out for Halloween and we love driving by to look at all the decorations
@@whismoonawknomyy honestly they made an actually funny joke. If you don't like it, that's fine, but don't bring them down for your opinion. You seem like the type of person to get a genuine compliment and say "wow, a compliment. That's reaaalll nice"
It’s so awesome seeing this channel go from building horror props, to repainting animatronics, to completely resculpting animatronics to building your own animatronics. So glad to see a Bendy animatronic!
😊
You can get little inline devices called "Air Logic Orifice Restrictors" that help smooth out and soften pneumatic animatronics motions. Used to use them at chuck-e-cheese to tune the motion of the mouse so it doesn't do the jangly jerky corpse movements, and it makes it way less likely to damage things. They come in different restriction sizes that are color coded and easy to swap around for faster or slower movement.
We neeeeeeeeeeeeeed ittttt plsssssss❤❤❤
As a HUGE Bendy fan I'm impressed by how good this is ,keep up the good work and may your channel thrive.
Knowing that an Ink Demon animatronic exists in the world makes me unbelievably happy. I love Bendy and hope you try making some other things from the series. Keep it up!

Wow, this is an amazing animatronic and It looks Exactly from the game. As a Big fan of the Bendy and the Ink Machine (and Dark revival) Community, it's amazing to see an Iconic Indie game character come to life as an Animatronic.
This is absolutely one of the best channels for animatronics. I love that you guys cover both older and newer characters. This looks awesome! The style of Bendy And The Ink Machine was super cool.

Hi guys, I'm Sophia's mom, thank you so much for giving her a shout out and showing off her drawing. She's been asking if y'all got it since we put it in the mailbox. It was such a fun surprise for all of us to see her letter on a video. You made our night!

I randomly found this TH-cam channel and I love seeing the process behind these animatronics and this bendy animatronic got me thinking it would be cool and amazing to see an animtronic based on the charcter Alex Mercer from Prototype and it sucks to kinda see some people kinda forget about this game series but it would be amazing to see because of the amount of variations you guys could do of him
I love how, every project, you learn how to do something new. Great work, as always!
You guys should be hired for all video game adaptations, no matter what it is. You guys would save the industry
Dude. I never respected how terrifying FNAF animatronics would have been irl until I listened to the skeleton of this thing move up and down. It's so loud! I can't imagine how much louder a full mechanical animatronic would sound walking/running towards you! 😱 (Regardless of the fact that it's trying to kill you)
You guys work so hard! You deserve all the love!! Keep up the Beautiful work!
I recently got back into bendy with the release of secrets of the machine, and then seeing you guys make this right after is AWESOME, it looks IDENTICAL and if not BETTER than the game model, I love the drips of the "ink" and the horns just looks AMAZING, also idea you guys should totally make an ink searcher on a roomba

Animatronic is the best one I’ve ever seen
I LOVE how they WANT to learn. They don’t rely on others for shortcuts but instead ask to be taught.
Yall actually are so talented, in a world of cgi these animatronics could actually hold up behind the camera, I LOVE practical effects and it would be amazing to see your creations in movies
You may be happy with games like Harold Halibut, Papetura, Judero (upcoming game) and whatever game Moonhood Studio is currently working on. All made with practical effects.
Commenting on the break in the head, you might like to know about this repair tool called a _Plastic Welder._ It uses a gun-shaped trigger-operated device to heat and push wire shapes into plastic to either repair a break or reinforce places where pieces are joined. I would have included a link to one, but TH-cam seems to be touchy about that sort of thing. With it you could have fixed the break in the head without removing it.
Wow nice! Will definitely look into that
IT'S INCREDIBLE i think you guys should make Pandory The panda from a short horror film called The Hug
following the evolution of these projects has been insane it went from halloween store makeovers to full sized animatronics with welding and pneumatics absolutely incredible
OMG!!! IM SO HAPPY!! Dark Deceptions next?
AHH YES!

Girl! Your hair's amazing! Love that hair!
To avoid having to get bigger pneumatic cylinders in the future, you can calculate the force you need beforehand. It’s a simple moment equation, and you can pretty easily estimate the weight, location of center of gravity, and force of the cylinder
You guys need a museum of your collected creatures and creations. People would adore it!
A horror game museum with characters as animatronics would be awesome!
@@AcaffeinatedPerson i would 1000% go to that museum
As a og bendy fan i love this its identical to the real deal!
9:56 thats a large one!
3D printed parts then to crack along the layer lines. There are some things you can do about this:
1) Orient the part in printing so that the forces are along the layer lines.
2) Run a hole through the part so you can put a long bolt through with a nut to have the layers in compression.
3) Add some springiness to prevent spikes of forces when things hit the end of travel.
4) Make things hollow to reduce weight
Great advice. Thanks!
Love that you guys are ALWAYS taking things to the next level! And thank you for not cutting out the parts where things go wrong or you're still figuring things out- not only does it feel more human, but getting to see the problem solving unfold in real time is just as fascinating as the build itself. It's also really encouraging for those of us who want to do this kind of stuff, too. Looking forward to the next video!
Oh, and... it may not be as popular as these past few animatronics, but I would love to see you guys create Fiddlesticks from League of Legends! It's a fear-feeding demon who has cobbled together a body out of spare parts and is often mistaken as a scarecrow. It would make a cool static prop... :)
A fellow Fiddlesticks enjoyer I see.
You really gotta make a moving Golden Freddy, dang...
This looks AMAZING! I love watching you guys progress with your animatronic skills and coming up with new ways to challenge yourselves! Progressing from upgrading the witch and scarecrow to these full builds from scratch in a year or so has been stunning. I do admit though, sometimes I do miss some of your simpler, cheaper projects that I can recreate at home.

I can so picture this in either a dark ride. a rollercoaster or a haunted house attraction, all of which are Based on Bendy and the Ink Machine
I think the biggest issue with welding is how SCARY it must be. I'd be scared to catch a spark! Honestly, it's amazing you got so comfortable with it so quickly, that's amazing!
I went into to it feeling the same way but was surprised how not scary it was!! If you have the means to learn I highly recommend trying it.
.
I have 3 things to say about this animatronic. 1 You are now my favorite Chanel on youtube! 2 I would not be shocked if they asked you for the Bendy and the ink machine movie, to help with some sort of animatronic. And 3, I hope I never see him in my home because that. That is extremely accurate and I would just think he came out my consol to attack me. 👍 This is one of the best animatronics I've seen!
LOVE YOUR JOB WICKED! THAT IS AMAZING!
The tinfoil and silicone would be PERFECT for a Venom Animatronic
Yes
I agree
Little fun fact: the "weird reversed leg horse thing" is not actually reversed.
With some exceptions (cetaceans), all mammals have the same basic skeletal organization, the proportions are what's throwing us off.
The "reversed knee" is actually an ankle, the "shoulder" is the actual knee, the "calf" is the fused feet bones, the part just bellow is the toe, and the hoof the nail.
Wow nice! Didn’t know that. 🤘🏼😄

It’s so fun to watch animatronic making, seeing all the behind the scenes and the accidents and fixes, and the fact its characters from games I adore is just an added bonus!
It’s literally so inspiring to watch people doing what they love as a job!!!
From a plastic skeleton and a too-small fountain pump in a wooden bucket to a full blown, scratch built, screen accurate animatronic. I am so so happy to have followed along on the Wicked journey, you've learned and expanded so much and your work has been incredible from the start. Happy 1M subs to you both and I can't wait to see what you do next!!

It is amazing to see you guys grow and improve with every project! From re-skinning toys to building full-size animatronics with custom metal frames and pneumatic actuators.
Honestly, I think this really is the most advanced animatronic I have ever seen them do, It's extraordinary!!!
THAT THING IS AMAZING!
imagine you just enjoying some fresh air and you see your neighbour across the street SPRAY PAINTING THE INK DEMON.
Hello WM! Just a quick tip for reinforcing 3D printed model.
In the RC hobby, we use a combination of Shoe goo, and drywall tape to try to make our shells last longer.
Maybe if you layer that inside, it would help at least a little.
Keep it Wicked!
Drywall tape?! Awesome idea!!
You guys are freaking amazing!! I love you both so much. Bravo!
i love how you are using so many complicated elements and doing them with less help as you progress
I swear, you guys can capture any game style with ~PERFECTION~
This is absolutely stunning. The fact that it actually looks like Ink is unreal. 10/10 build.
If you want my suggestion for an animatronic, I'd suggest Fiddlesticks from League of Legends. While League of Legends isn't horror, Fiddlesticks sure is. It's a demon that lives off of fear, doesn't understand speech and only mimics it, and builds it's body with whatever it finds around it, so it's appearance right now is that of a scarecrow. Super creepy.
Good job it looks like in the game keep up the good work
5:15 idk if this would be the type of animatronic you would consider making but that Fabric would be PERFECT for a pinhead animatronic.

Could you maybe dampen that downward motion at the waist by using bungie chords on the opposite side of the hinge to counteract his weight? Also could maybe mean you don't need as beefy of a pneumatic there.
I'm by no means an expert, just a viewer with an idea.
I would LOVE to see you guys make a life-size xenomorph alien animatronic from the alien isolation game. you could make the second set of teeth come out and bite, I think that would be really cool. another cool idea would be having some drool drip from its mouth, because in the game sometimes there will be drool coming from a vent (if you step under it you die). for the tail, it's just limp and basically just drags on the floor behind the alien so you won't have to worry about animating it.
but yea! I think it would be really awesome and I would love to see you create it!!
that cell shading at the mouth part looks so amazing!
OH MY goodness. This whole video was super impressive throughout, but that ending really shook me. I never felt the word "flabbergasted" describe me as well as it did then.
CONGRATULATIONS for 1 mil!
You guys should try to make shin Godzilla, he’s like very terrifying too.
I like how you both have a different role, one of you takes care of all the wiring and mechanical stuff and the other designs it and makes it look perfect!
You guys have really inspired me! You did a real good job making bendy 🤘🤘
15:59 casually puts on bendy’s head XD
Also 16:32 TIN FOIL BENDY!1!1!11
I think something that could be interesting to try for you guys is to build an animatronic that you can also take down and put away like the store-bought ones. Easy to put up and easy to put away (because seeing the final product all I can think is 1) putting that in the basement is probably going to lead to unintentionally scaring an unprepared person, and 2) it would be a pain to put away and take out. Like, how are you going to fit that through a door?? It also looks SUPER heavy!
Still, awesome build!
( Also fyi, something I have learned is when you’re building something moveable, overestimate how much force it will need to move. That way nothing breaks and you don’t need to do another run to the store! Better to overdo it than under do it. )
Good to see Springtrap giving you moral support at 23:40 haha!
