      Ha, he uses equipment to do everything. He doesn't work hard. He's a dedicated worker and has a work ethic, but when you have equipment to do the work for you, that ends the hard work. Andrew works smart not hard. He's a smart guy.

      @@jaywillow9927 So this implies that the only type of hard work is strictly labor intensive? Doctors, lawyers, teachers, engineers etc.... all lazy apparently. You can work hard in many ways.

    Andrew, thanks again for sharing a great video. I have an older ASV. The undercarriage is made up of a series of UHMW bogey wheels and a rubber tortion arm. Because they are not made of steel or aluminum, you do need to avoid driving over hard sharp edges whenever possible. I have operated bobcat as well and there is no comparison in the ride. The ASV is so smooth and easy on my back. Caterpillar had invested in ASV back in the 90’s to license the undercarriage. In return, some ASV had CAT engines. After Terex bought ASV, caterpillar went to their own undercarriage design.

    • @Bushguyrocks
      @Bushguyrocks 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gotta love those tortion bars. I Googled the word to find out what esoteric piece of engineering this was exactly. Wikipedia defines tortion as a word used by inbred hillbilly idiots that never learned to spell. Hmm. Why are they using inbred hillbillies in skidsteers? I know ASV likes to cheap out on parts, but this seems as ridiculous as buying a Dodge truck.

    I think Andrew does a good job at conservation. He knows a lot more about trees than 90% of contractors, only takes what he needs to get the job done, and uses the wood for firewood or takes it to the mill.
