Thank-you for a most wonderful plane-spotting video. I thoroughly enjoyed it and subscribed to your “TH-cam” page. You demonstrated great zoom control and followed the path of the aircraft very smoothly.
Are you a professional photographer? I noticed that you are using some very excellent equipment, which is a much higher quality than the video cameras I have seen others use. I always try to view videos in “Full Screen”, which allows me to view then in greater detail. For I try to pay attention to everything within view of the monitor. I noticed a vast difference between the videos you took with your HC-X1000 and those you took with your HC-V210. The HC-X1000 takes a much better video than the HC-V210. It definitely demonstrates that with camera equipment, “You get what you pay for.”
I hope you do not mind me asking about your video equipment, and if you prefer, I could email you so that I do not clutter up the comments section with my curiosity. I am interested because I plan to purchase an ultra-HD, 4K video camera, and rather than spend a great deal of time doing unnecessary research, I prefer to learn from knowledgeable people to narrow the scope of my pursuit.
The Stuttgart airport has a very good vantage point for those who enjoy watching the aircraft take off and land. I found it interesting that the direction for taking off and landing changed to the east for the Delta B-767 flight to Atlanta, then it quickly changed back to the west.
Please accept my sincere gratitude for the effort you put into bringing us quality videos. You certainly helped me start my Saturday morning well. I truly look forward to following you in the future and commenting on various aspects I find interesting in your videos. I will most assuredly start viewing your videos much closer to comment on details as I watch more of them and become familiar with your techniques. Thank-you again!

Of course you have to start somewhere, so the V210 was good for me in the beginning. I bought the HC-X1000 about one year ago, but it's to large to travel with. That's the reason why the cameras are changing.
I'm very satisfied with the X1000, I can really recommend it! Image quality is great, and, what was really important to me, you have full control about every setting.

Hei! Wie erreicht man den Spotting-Point? Führt da ne Straße/Weg hin oder musstest du über Felder laufen? 😂🌍❤✈
Den Punkt kann man gut mit Auto, Fahrrad oder zu Fuß erreichen. Ist auch als offizieller Spotter Platz in Google Maps eingetragen.
Warum ist Delta in die andere Richtung gestartet?
Das ist wirklich eine gute Frage, welche ich mir an dem Tag auch gestellt habe. Demnach kann ich dazu leider nix sagen. Ich vermute jedoch entweder Lärmschutz oder eine Abflugroute welche nur von 07 geflogen wird.
Michael Kreißig Die Delta war an diesem Tag die einzige Maschine entgegen der normalen Betriebsrichtung. War schon etwas komisch. xD
Ich weiß, ich weiß ich bin spät dran und so.
Also soweit ich weiß (bzw. soweit man mir erzählt hat) startet die DL117 (B764) sehr häufig bzw. fast immer auf der RWY 07. Ausnahmefälle sind entweder Lust und Laune der Piloten oder sehr starke Rückenwinde.
Denn (jetzt kommt der kontroverse Teil des ganzen hier) ich habe gehört, dass die Piloten wegen der Weidacher Höhe (bewohntes Berggebiet etwa 3km vom Localizer 07 entfernt) auf der 07 starten, weil sie besorgt sind in den Berg reinzufliegen.
Ich selbst habe es aber auch selbst erlebt, dass die B764 auf der 25 startet, bei leichtem Wind. Und Überraschung: Sie ist nicht in den Berg reingeflogen.
Ob es evtl. mit der Departure Route zusammenhängt kann ich nicht sagen bzw. bezweifle ich, da ich glaube, dass die DL117 meist über KRH (Karlsruhe) fliegt, und dafür sowohl für die RWY 07 als auch für die RWY 25 Departure Routen zur Verfügung stehen.
Lärmschutz wäre übrigens auch eine Idee die ich für logisch halte. Aber genaueres weiß ich auch nicht.

@@asiate2go Nein, Lärmschutz(sonst würde der laute A300 von DHL nicht in die Richtung starten) ist es nicht, der A350 wenn er da ist startet auch in Richtung Esslingen. Die Delta fliegt schon manchmal Richtung Stetten
