These are the list of games i would like to see on kinect:
1. kayak, down hill river.
2. a baseball game.
3. a board game(checkmate!!)
4.a game like heavy rain(kinect style)
5.a motorbike game.
6. drinking game.
7. and an intelligencer/infiltration game.
side from these they've show ever concept of games we've been contemplating about, from games existed!! thumps for them!!.........P.S which type of game you would like to see on kinect??
it has been said that kinect features will be in the new ghost recon game....there is also a rail shooter by ubisoft that is compatible with kinect. its called child of eden...find it here on youtube. Not all kinect games will be made by microsoft nor will it all be casual. the casual games will come out first then the other kinds of games will come to the surface.

I remember 2 summers ago i would get up at 10:00 get on xbox play a good a of der riese nazi zombie with my friend on xbox (who now owns a ps3) my friend from school
Then later i would get into a big custom games in halo 3

To answer a few questions.

It woks on BOTH Slim and Original, just uses different connections.
There are hardocre games as well as casual, however not many hardcore games announced as yet.
For the classic Xbox 360, you'll need to connect Kinect in a USB port and plug it in the energy, but there is a special port for Kinect in the new Xbox, so you just got to plug it there
Anyway, the coolest thing about Kinect is the multiple forms to interact, like bringing objects to the camera, or talking with the console and games

kinect is for casual gamers, and how many casual gamers are willing to spend £150 on it or however much it is?
A new one's coming, but maybe it'll come on the summer of next year (2013), it's called The new Xbox 720.

@rarezas1959 not really that it doesn't work, but it can be tiring to move without stopping, when you play a game, so it's good to have a joystick in hand, and i don't think they would make game who works just by moving finger, and you have to be standing to play the games.

Microsoft and Sony were trying to copy Nintendo's success with the Wii with accessories back in the early 2010's but failed
i remember watching this as a kid, the emotion to watch a new generation controller made exited me so much, i spend 6 months saving money from lunch, and after a time with my dad helps i bought it! it was great times with my family and made me discovered the game from just dance, game that i still playing. I would love to watch the kinect grow up as ps5 or series X. I wonder how a kinect from new gen could be

@K1ng440 - Actually what he says is true. Your story of what happened to your XBox is not typical and therefore could happen with any product. If what you say on your channel is true then it sounds more like a problem with that shop rather than the XBox. Have you ever thought there was a reason why they were selling the XBox at "the cheapest price no other can give"? Imo, you were unlucky, because I suspect they knew there was a problem before they sold it to you :(

@TProductiionZz they may not have announced it but I think it's more than possible that Sony can produce something like this. There is a chance the Kinect can knock WII out of the gaming industry.
Xbox 360 isnt wack. Its just that all you guys only wanna play is shooting games 24/7 and that ps3 made it. To be honest idccc is ps3 or xbox is wack. A system is a system.....thats why i have both.

do some fucking research the wii got that idea from sony's eyetoy. They have even said numerous of times they got the idea of sonys. I for one can see such a big difference with the Ps move and wii its not even funny. I am not the one to bash the kinect but microsoft have said that its an "original idea" and "never before seen" when of course its not. Search up ps2 kinect or eyetoy. it resembles the same shit doesn't it? Hate Microsoft but i love playing with the kinect too D;
Also on another note...what is with all this Console war bashing? Seriously you guys need to take a step back and quit arguing which console is better, it saddens me that I read these comments saying that the Xbox360 Kinect is better than the Wii...or that Xbox360 is better than the Nintendo or PS3.

@jingle2385monkey lol have you played the PS3 move? Nothing like Wii. It has a camera and can track motion just like kinect. If you don't like shooting games or the only sports games you like is soccer, or if you love dance games, kinect is cool, but playstation move takes motion gaming to a whole new level, while xbox kinect is ps2 eye toy plus voice and facial recognition. Wii is 2d motion tracking. PS3 is 3d 1:1. If you say PS3 is just like the wii then kinect is just like the ps2 eye toy.
great for non serious gamers. looks like they're targeting the Nintendo Wii market, while PS3 move focuses on the serious gaming games. I don't see how you can really compare xbox kinect to ps move. Kinect dominates the fitness, dancing and children games, and maybe soccer... playstation dominates all other sports games and first person shooters. Wii is now a step behind and will need to advance.
@3anaurv2 i think this is the worst idea ever... if you cant trigger or do anything besides your fragile recorded movement, the possibility of gameideas is just very few. there will be just sports games or other stuff, most of them wont get your whole body movement, it will just interpret your movement and change it into an scripted animation.... this is even more lame than the not working wii...
To all the people that say Sony is copying the Wii... Do some research!
Sony have been working on move since the EyeToy was in pre-production. They wanted to release Move with the Eyetoy but the PS2 didn't have enough processing power to handle it which resulted in a *really* glitchy controller. They then focused on making the PS3, lowering the priority in the production queue of the Move.
All this production was happening behind closed doors, which means Sony didnt copy Nintendo

Could be a gimmick. Like it for the fittness but games, I just cant see it yet. We have to wait and see over the next year for a developer to realy get their minds working.

I have a Kinect. They are really interactive. They keep you active and you don't have to worry about losing a controller, unless you use Xbox, which I do. They are also fun. You can get xbox live, you can talk to teammates and discuss. Live video chat and netflix. Live browsing. And Facebook, twitter, and TH-cam. You should really get Xbox and Kinect.!

You know, I've heard a rumor that both companys might work together to make a console. It'd be cool if they called it The XStation 360 w/ Moving Kinect. Just saying.
Don't know about this kinect I mean I'll buy it anyway coz I'm a sucker for hype plus my girlfriend called me fat the other day so it would be kinda cool to do the fitness ones but I can't see this being any good for hardcore games unless the sensitivity is as good as they say it is then it could be used for camand and conqer style RTS games

The Kinect does have flaws. Its even more flawed than the Wii. It can only detect gestures and takes up a huge amount of space. Seriously, raising your hands up to drive without any physical feedback is stupid.

@dragonpiecemovie Yeah, it really is just a little better version of the eyetoy. The eyetoy was also a rip off of a camera peripheral nintendo showed but never released (this made Nintendo more careful afterwards when it came to showing things early).
how does this incorporate for shooters? and it is really similar to the ps2 eye toy... How long would u play a game without a controller? A controller IS necessary for playing video games (shooters). And yes. I am a Playstation 3 fan.

You're gonna regret it. PS3 is back up and better than ever. Free netflix movies, Free games and tons more software. Kinect still hasnt advanced and customers are bored now with the console.

I own an Xbox with Kinect,It's ok i think move and wii are cool,they have alot of fun games,like MarioKart thats a fun game espacially online,Kinect is good but so far alot of shity games are coming out!
In my opinion the kinect isnt that fun only the dancing game, in ps3 move its alot funner for me cause theres shooting games and alot more action games instead of little kid games for the kinect.

@we7887 Ya well the sticks are way better than the wii controllers. I tried them. Thay actually work three dimensionally rather than by shaking. So it is better. Not that i will buy it.
There is no difference in gaming performance between 360 and ps3 in my opinion, the ps3 has sold at a loss because of the cost of development and installation of the blu ray drive.
Played that last night for the time first & i gotta say, this technology is pretty awesome!

How well is the connect compared to that old eyetoy for ps2? Does it respond or catch movements any better cause i remember the eyetoy was a piece of crap.

I would recommend you to get the 4GB because the new Xbox 720 with Kinect 2.0 is coming earlier next year. So be patient and save your money.
