It makes me so happy that this went to a real picker! So many beautiful instruments just sit behind glass in a collectors vault. Excellent work, Jerry! I can’t wait to see Caleb build some mandolins and flat tops.

please Jerry, take your time, build another guitar and sell it afterwards, not under any time pressure. I am sure you will find many buyers, but it is a shame to think that such a beautiful handcrafted piece of art will be the last to go out to the world. and the joy you see in the eyes of the new owner is a heart warming feeling. Well done Jerry, great job one more time and God bless .

Jerry I’ve always loved your videos. I’ve built several guitar’s. Mine are various Electic guitars and amps. I’ve done a lot of repairs on electric guitars. Finish and paint. I love acoustic guitars. Never built my own. I’ve learned so much watching a master Luther at work. I’m going to buy a list of tools from Stu Mac. I love wood working. I think I’m ready to try my hand at making one. Thanks for the ride Jerry. Wish you the best in retirement. This last build was fantastic. Perfect ending. Got emotional towards the end hearing you and Paul play together. Perfect ending for a perfect build. Thanks for all the memories and showing us all how to make a masterpiece. Take care Jerry. God Bless you and Your family.
Your s very good musician ass well.

Hello Jerry, it's not my guitar and I'm 60, but I really felt sorry for you having to see the guitar go, I even got teary eyed. we've all followed it from the first lump of wood being cut up, to hearing it played very well, it sounds fantastic. I'm sorry you had to give it to someone else, you'll just have to build another one 🙂.
    Wishing you all the best.

The love the bottom where the strap button is; I know it's a result of not enough wood for the sides...but it looks great, especially with the Celtic design. Where the neck attaches also looks great with the extra trim.

What a journey! So happy to see that it went to someone who could play so well. Too many beautiful instruments go to Collectors who keep them in the case.
Not only is it a beauty but there is video documentation of the whole build for posterity. Imagine hundreds of years from now, some future repair specialist will show this for historical reference. Keep the videos in the case with instructions to update the formats and keep the original files. It would have been nice to see Orville Gibson at work and playing, but all we have is a few photos, just to put everything in context. Also put a letter in the case for future repair guy to let him know that everything is a hammer.
The family that plays together stays together.

Mister Rosa, if you have to put your tools on the shelf, so to speak, you can go out proud that you have built a 'one in a million' instrument for someone whom I suspect is also one in a million. Not often that a guitar can be a cannon, and also so responsive to a light touch. Even the first notes, before the bridge got glued down, had a sweetness that grabbed my attention. Truly, you have made a masterpiece. Well done, sir! Bravo.
