Nice! Where ya guys heading out to? This was just a nice easy trail with just my daughter and I. Didn’t want to hit it to hard seeing we were jeeping alone.
Finally someone took the time to put Vinton county on the app. Before that you had to knew someone to wheel those trails and locals are not very friendly or helpful 😅.
This is surrounded by private property... you have to be extremely careful where you go on this trail. Only trail with people who are familiar with this area or we run the risk of this area being shut down😢

You have to be extremely careful of where you are going, so it is ESPECIALLY good to know where you are going and to know exactly where you are so you are NOT ruining it for everyone else..just saying
Caution for anyone going out: the land past the waterfall is private property. There is a huge open area to turn around in, and then go back down the way you came in.
@@TrailExpedition yeah we haven’t seen anything posted in the last few years either. That trail is tricky because of the man who owns the land at the entrance too. He does NOT like people on his property.
So I just did this trail and there are still no signs or anything. It goes into a logged off area and has trails all through hills. Maybe someone should put some signs or trees in the way...
I’m not very familiar with that vehicle so I’m not sure. The hardest part was probably that deep water in the beginning and the bump up the waterfall. I’ve been told it’s private property just after the waterfall area. However, it was not marked when I was there.

Thanks! I do prefer small groups of 2-3 rigs but was solo on this trip. Wasn’t going to do anything crazy. Just needed to get out and explore.
@@TrailExpedition I plan on doing that more this year since I have some experience under my belt now and a rig I'm confident in.
The Gladiator is so much better equipped for the longer road-trip more overland style. Happy trail riding!

With heavy body damage I’m sure! Trail 16 is no joke but an absolute awesome trail though.

Wooo! 37s and a 2" lift and you were still bumping and scraping... I've got 32s and a 2" lift on my FJ wondering if i could make it
I think you could. Honestly not that hard of a trail. Only hard spots are the deep water in the beginning and bumping up the little waterfall area.

Right on. Yeah, without onX there was no way I was finding it. There were a few more in the area but we were just out for a short ride.

We did not see a single private property sign on any of the trails we went down and I was actively looking for them 👀

That’s understandable. I wouldn’t either. It was a pretty trail. Easy and very short.

@loveracing1988 agreed. It was exactly the same when I was there. Not a single private property or no trespassing sign.
Also, the area where you said it looked like they were logging - that’s from a tornado last year!

Will a stock 2008 4x4 Sorento make this trail? It’s the IFS/SRA model.

Past the waterfall and leading to it; is Private property and he did Not have permission to be on the trail after the waterfall
