Ok this is the most detailed review. I was looking for someone who can measure real world power consumption. Some other reviewers were saying Fan 2 and Fan 2 lite were the same with just added smart features, but it seems like they have a different motor as well. Thanks!

Bought myself one due to the natural breeze feature. It may not be as strong as tradional fan, doesn't matter as I will use it to compliment AC anyway.

Finally a proper review for this product. How is the wind power compared to traditional fans?

The maximum level is probably similar to level 2 of traditional fans but for me it will be enough to keep you cool. Also, in traditional fans, it probably uses about 30-40W but at the same wind level, this fan only use 10-15W so it saves quite a lot of energy.

@@magiccgadgets So it's week? This is my main concern and I have nowhere to test it out...

Thanks for review. I have a question. Does it have an internal battery? I've seen somewhere that it comes with a 2800mAh battery that could lasts up to 18hrs (claimed).

This version doesn't have an internal battery but there are other versions that also have an internal battery.

Where did you get the watt consumption? Is it in the Mi home app as well?

I used a smart socket to monitor the power consumption which I used it with the Smart Life App.

Do you know if this model works on battery? Without having to be plugged

The fan needs to be plugged for it to work

Whats wrong with the watt meter? P=UxI so let say at 6:03 it says 213 volts and 107mA. 213x0,107=22.8 watts. While your meter says 12.6 watts. Its halve the wattage of what its supposed to be the whole video?!

Can you control it via Amazon alexa?

Last 3 min of video entire fan was shaking when it was oscillating. Looks like base is very light. I don't like fan to shake when it is oscillating.

All these DC fans are good for nothing but toys, which voids the purpose of the product, delivering crappy satisfaction, crappy air flow, expensive product good for nothing, any standard AC pedestal fan will delivers 2500 RPM wiping sweat in 15 seconds, compared to 15-20 mins of DC fan... Bad experience will all DC fans.

Right. Reviewer had answered that qus but air throw should have been part of review for such an expensive fan. Good features if you are going to use it just for yourself and not for family sitting together
