The reason Ainz was testing the Dragon's strength with grasp heart was because if you're a high enough lvl it only stuns you and Aura's breath is like aura of despair
Something I'm appreciating (reacting to you reading the comment on Shalltear) is how Shalltear is the biggest assist for Ainz. Like he's supposed to be teaching her, but she's literally the one always coming to his rescue for the "Sasuga, Ainz-sama!" moments. Like almost every time he's like "I DON'T UNDERSTAND?! SOMEONE EXPLAIN!" Shalltear will pop up and be like "I don't get it, someone explain to me"
Fun fact: the leader of the Quagua and Jircniv meet later in E Rantel and become friends, when they hear what Ainz is doing in the Holy Kingdom they think they will soon have a new fellow sufferer, but it turns out differently^^ Fun not fact: in the fan fiction "Valkyrie`s Schadow" Hejinmal's mother occasionally drinks tea with the naga from season 2 and tells him how intelligent her son is because he made the only right decision when meeting Ainz, to get down on the floor to bow down, a suggestion that the naga dan passes on to the messengers of the Holy Kingdom
@@oberstabsfeldwebeldoge4115 the many details may not be for everyone, but the story simply answers too many unanswered questions, so I recommend it to every novel reader
the scroll that aura used is a world item called "depiction of nature and society", it allows the user to create an alternate dimension and transport anyone who isnt immune to world item effects (usually by possessing a world item), to that dimension, the dimension can be whatever the user wants, however there is always an escape route built in, and if someone escapes, they gain possession of the world item and the effect breaks. the point of using it is to prevent any strong people (possibly players) or stragglers from escaping, they also didnt show Shalltear ordering the hanzos to guard the escape route. as for the culling, you can probably imagine the difference between feeding 40k people and 10k, and due to the unknown nature of their usefulness, its hard to justify keeping more than that, if it makes you feel better, the leaders ability removed fear or pain from the subordinates he commanded, and Shalltear was quite efficient in killing them, so they died quite peacefully. On a side note, Ainz (the guild) got the scroll by doing exactly that, a rival guild had trapped them using the scroll, however they escaped and got the scroll for themselves, afterwards the guild which lost the scroll pestered them over and over to return it, but of course they didnt, saying "if you didnt want to lose it, you should have kept it locked in a vault" im going to keep the following as vague as possible to minimise spoilers: later on the dragons are used to deploy some "interesting" tactics the funniest of which was shalltear's idea looking forward to how you like the following episodes, keep in mind that there is a massive time skip (2 volumes that are being adapted as a movie) so they reference things that you havent seen happen yet, but the most important thing you need to know to keep up is that the holy roble kingdom to the west undergoes a major crisis and as a result the sorcerer kingdom is sending them aid primarily in the form of food. i know this is probably too late for you to read before watching the episode, but hopefully that will clear up the inevitable confusion that we all had.
Spoiler free lore tidbits: Hajinmal is a Hikkikomori (shut-in) and has the natural ability to perceive the value of any armor or weapon by smell. So when he meets Ainz for the first time he's flabbergasted at the scent of priceless, impossible gear on both Ainz and Aura. So because he sensed this he immediately knew Ainz was NOT someone to play with. Aura's breath has multiple things it can do but the primary thing is it inflicts status effects. For example what she uses against Hajinmal was a Fear breathe to make him absolutely loyal (it scares him so badly he almost dies of shock and that's why he wet himself), in Season 1 she used her breathe to inflict Rage with Hamsuke to incite him to attack and she inflicted Fear in Shalltear during Ainz's fight against her, which allowed him to achieve victory. The giant scroll that Aura uses is a world item called The Depiction of Nature and Society. It traps EVERYONE (caster and target) within it's field of effect in a separate plane of existence and there is always and only 1 way of escape. If the targeted person is able to find the 1 exit and leave then the world item will be transferred into their possession. The plane that is created by the world item can actually be custom designed to be ANY scenario (top of a frozen mountain, a deep swampland, a ruined city, etc), in this encounter she doesn't change the environment of the ruined Dwarven city. The Quagoa Clan Lord has an ability shown here when he gives the orders to charge, he buffs his allies and makes them immune to fear (both natural and inflicted) allowing them to be marched into the meat grinder that is Shalltear. When he sends his strongest warriors he does so both as a mercy and to protect himself (keeps them from disgraceful serving and noone can betray him later by vying for power). Ainz did partially display his power but it was misinterpreted. He sent 2 Death Knights out and they butchered the quogoa but they claimed they were "Dwarven golems", then 2 small people stood before their army demanding them to bow without a shred of fear. Ainz's power was on full display for anyone who takes the time to see everything.
Ainz didn't need Aura's help to achieve victory, he hesitated on his final attack which gave Shalltear an opening. Aura interfering was basically the sign Ainz needed to affirm himself and that the NPCs wanted.
number of exit of "The Depiction of Nature and Society" is depend on complexity of plane its bring, more complex its plane more exit there is. there is why when Aura used it they don't need any effect it provide and increase the scroll to be stolen
It's interesting to imagine the level of extreme awe and respect required to make someone think that you only make mistakes on purpose. There is an amazing balance between the reality that Ainz lives in, and the way the World views him.
Hello friend, thanks for reacting to Overlord so far. If it's okay with you, I'd like to comment on some things that might not be clear, using information from the novel. The Quagoa leader that we see at the beginning is similar to Emperor Jirvich, in the sense that he is a great charismatic leader who managed to turn his people into a great power of the underworld. And just like Jirvich, he ends up watching everything he believes in fall apart without him being able to do anything. At first, he believes that the dwarves are using Golems against them and so he doesn't get too scared. He asks the Frost Dragons for help because he hopes his enemies will destroy each other. That is why after paying the tribute he withdrew far away with all his people. At first he thinks that the dwarves are using Golems against them and so he doesn't get too scared. He asks the Frost Dragons for help because he hopes his enemies will destroy each other. That is why after paying the tribute he withdrew far away with all his people. Hejinmal is a very weird dragon who likes to read, so much so that he ended up losing his eyesight and becoming quite fat, but still he is still a powerful being by New World standards but is very timid and would always consider running away almost every single time when faced with a problem. Hejinmal is the son of the female dragon that Olasird'arc loves the most for the power and intelligence he has, but since he is not good at fighting, he became a source of shame that all his brothers make fun of. However, he is smart enough to realize that Ainz is incredibly dangerous. He quickly deduces that his Freezing Breath, the Frost Dragons' specialty, won't work on an undead. He also realizes that his fireballs could easily kill him. Finally his extremely valuable robe makes him decide to speak politely instead of attacking and then, after exchanging phrases, he decides to immediately submit. Ainz was thinking of killing him, but his collecting spirit makes him decide to keep it when he assumes that Hejinmal is a unique specimen. Olasird'arc Haylilyal, on the other hand, was greedier and was so interested in seizing Ainz's treasures that he did not realize the danger. It was funny that all the dragons claimed that they "were his mother" in a desperate attempt to save themselves, but Hejinmal follows the lie despite how much his stepmothers have despised him. A curious moment is when Ainz is in the dwarven treasury and is holding a sword. He remembers that being a judagor, Ainz can't hold weapons because he doesn't have the warrior class, except if he puts on Momon's magical armor. But the dwarf sword that he held did not fall from his hand and he could use it naturally. AInz was about to examine it when he was interrupted by Gondo and we never knew the mystery of that weapon. In this episode we finally got a direct look at the World Class Item Depiction of Nature and Society in action, which in my opinion was not properly animated. This Item allows the user to isolate space. Apparently, it can even swallow the whole space of the opponent. It was an item that could seal a target into a closed-off space. To be more precise, it swapped a painted landscape with the real world, and then it would convert the real world into a painted landscape thah was almost the same as the real world, with nothing strange or outstanding within it. However, it was fundamentally an illusion. One could choose from 100 other-worlds to overlay onto the targeted portion of reality. The most fearsome aspect of this item was not drawing people into another world, but being able to manifest various effects on the targeted area. In the novel, King Quagoa wears some sort of crown and cape. When Shalltear orders them to surrender, King Quagoa is willing, because he thinks that all they have to do is subdue for a while, get stronger, and then overthrow their masters, the same thing they wanted to do with the Ice Dragons, but first he wants to confirm that newcomers are strong. Unfortunately, his words are taken as a challenge and in the end they make it clear that only 10,000 will survive. The king is so surprised by this that he is speechless at which point Aura and Shalltear tell him to "Don't give your clothes to anyone else." This confuses him even more, but he finally understands that the enemies don't want to confuse him and kill him by mistake, and they are serious about massacring them. The rest was what he saw, only the violent part was pretty toned down. Here I leave you some fragments of the novel: [Riyuro gave voice to a mighty cry. It was a cry infused with the skill he had obtained when he had ascended to the position of Clan Lord. As he saw his army of over 10’000 charge the enemy in response to the cry, he even felt a little pleased. However, the results of that charge were too horrible to watch. Like a flow of water striking a wall, the charging soldiers struck an invisible barrier and were sent flying. What splashed everywhere was not frothy water, but Quagoa ─ or what used to be Quagoa. Perhaps a sight like this would be fitting of Dragons or Giants, but their opponents were creatures that were even smaller than Quagoa. “They’re flying…” one of his aides muttered dumbly to himself. This was not a metaphor. The charging Quagoa were literally flying through the air. Neither did they do so one by one. Several dozens of them were sent flying all at once. Their pulverized corpses became a shower of meaty chunks which rained down on their comrades. The gore-caked troops continued their charge, whereupon they become lumps of flesh themselves which fell on yet more of their companions. It was a scene straight out of a nightmare. For some reason, the fact that they could not see any blood spurting made the sight even more surreal. “What, what the, what the hell is that?!” Riyuro did not even have the strength to answer his advisor’s mournful cry. His thoughts merely leaked out through his mouth in the form of words. “This many…” “¡Clan Lord! ¿What is that!? ¡It’s nothing like the Golems we saw before!” They smashed away every single Quagoa charging them in a single blow. This was no longer a battle. It was not even a massacre. It was simply disposal. The comrades he had gathered to increase their influence were now being mangled up in vast quantities like so much rubbish. “¡We, we have to run!” “¡¿Where will you run to?!” He shouted at his panicked aides. “¡¿Where can you run to in this strange dimension?! ¡These people said they’re going to kill us until there’s only 10’000 of us left!” His aides had nothing to say] The funniest part is at the end, when Ainz makes the mistake of thinking out loud. Demiurge asks that he has planned the future of the Sorcerous Kingdom so much and Ainz almost answers the truth: "Not even until tomorrow." But that wouldn't sound good for a ruler and he's left wondering until his thoughts take him back to mythology where turtles were believed to be able to live for 10,000 years. Now Demiurge believes that Ainz is so wise that he actually has calculated a series of conspiracies until that time. Well friend, that would be all for now, but I have to give you a warning. The next chapter should be the Holy Oak Realm arc, which spans 2 books. But the anime decided to make that part a movie and it makes a huge time jump again. So the events that will take place in the next episode actually take place 2 years (approximately) after Aizn's adventure in the Dwarf Kingdom. And there I am going to have to explain many things, because the Anime has missubtitled again the name of the Holy Oak Kingdom and has changed it to that of Theocracy. ¡See you in the next chapter!
When Nphirea and Enri dined in Nazarick they were served Frost Dragon steaks. Frost Dragons were in Yggdrasil and Nazarick had campaigns against them so Ains had dragon parts from then and was looking forward to adding more dragon parts lucky for Hejinmal Ains' collector desires kicked in otherwise Hejinmal might have been on the menu next time. Shallchair gains a new nickname, Blender. Ains mystique as a mastermind saves him once again due to Aura's "explanation" to Shalltear.
Wohoo! I made it into a video^^ And when i saw the episode first my thoughts were "Oof. Dragons. That could be a though challenge." And when i first saw Henjimal on the screen, i couldn't hold it and had to laugh. A fat Dragon with Glasses was definitly NOT what is was expecting^^
A little Intel about the chunky dragon 🐲. 12:58 He was bully by all of the dragons because he was the only one that actually like lecture and the other female dragons (except for his birt mother) did nothing about it. So when Ainz ask him about who his mother was, he only wanted to point out his birt mother and let the others die. But he is actually more compassionate and decided not to do that, also because he wanted the other two dragons to own him a favor.
Hejinmal didn't recognize Ainz's race, Ainz is an Overlord which is a higher tier race than Elder Lich. The racial path for Ainz is Skeleton Mage > Elder Lich > Overlord. Overlords don't exist in the New World or they don't anymore they might of been around back during the era of the 8 Greed Kings or 6 Great Gods but they and all the other powerful beings were killed. So no one in the current period has even heard of an Overlord meaning Hejinmal could only guess the highest tier undead that he knows matched Ainz's appearance which was Elder Lich.
1:09 I love it when TH-camrs do this, why? Because not many do this. Is just something really awesome not just because the TH-camr gives a little shout-out to his community but also because there is that trill of "I might be the next comment he reads". Thanks for another awesome video GAZ, you are cool 😎👍
So the purple haze over everything is a world item that basically makes it nearly impossible to escape. The reason Shaltear slaughtered them was her misunderstanding Ainz' orders, he told her to only go that far if they didn't have a choice, but instead of demonstrating their power, when the quagoa refused, they went straight to slaughter Town
the quagoa look like dogs but they are actually moles, their king curses at ains cos they would have bent the knee and obeyed from the start if only they had said that they were stronger than the frost dragons since they had no point of reference they couldnt surrender and so had to resist
because of the world item used by the 8 greed kings the way magic works in the new world was changed like i said one of the changes was that the some of the weaker dragon lords could no longer use wild magic and were referred to as fake dragon lords
That scroll that Aura opened is "Depiction of Nature and Society" - it's a world item. Ainz has all the guardians at least carry a world item since Shalltear got mind controlled because carrying a world item makes you immune to world items. Shalltear will have one in her inventory, and it's why Albedo is always carry around that scepter with the floating ball, that's Ginnungagap, it can change it's shape and is a powerful weapon. Ainz himself has the red orb in his stomach so he is always immune. "Depiction" is very nasty because it can transport an entire army of any size into a world of the wielder's choosing (indicated here by the pink mist) and since Aura didn't want to kill them just keep them from scattering it was essentially harmless. The worlds it conjures can be nasty including lava, underwater, fire, ice, lightning, or every monsters (which will always be weaker than the people trapped, usually 60%, to delete their resources) - it can be dangerous to use however as one of 40 escape routes would be randomly chosen during each activation, and if the enemy managed to escape via that route, ownership of the item would transfer to the enemy. However it is unlikely anyone in the New World would ever be able to escape it since most would die if trapped underwater or dropped in lava.
@@KishkaTonka My novel purist self can't help but disagree :S Let me elaborate. The time that was spent on implementing a scene wich did not exist in the novel could have been better spent. I'm sure they could have pulled something from the huge pile of cut content, if it was a matter of filling out time that is.
In the novel, Hejinmal confirned that all 3 of the mother are his mother so Ains will spare their lives so that they will owe him later. So Hejinmal is actually a bit cunning too. When Shaltear and Aura 'negotiate' with the Quagoa, they are too focus to accomplish their mission from Ains that they don't even talk to the Quagoa. They just push the choices at them with no explanation and just assume battle within like 3 minutes. And I love the scene where the Quagoa ran into Shaltear and go "splash" like a wave crash into a cliff. Tho brutal it reaally show how that a high level character won't be affected by low level characters no matter how much they are.
19:50 ains has to always act like an overlord and since he cant sleep or rest this is a huge mental strain on him so he was actually glad he would be seen as someone who can make mistakes so he was going to come clean but sadly they mistakenly thought it was part of his plan and he now has to keep pretending and acting 24/7
18:07 You are right, the Ainz from season 1 up to season 2 would not want that, but as time goes on Ainz mind set is becoming more of an undead and his humanity is slowly draining away from him. In conclusion 🧐🍸, he is becoming more like his own species (Elder Litch) while his human nature is banishing
dragons love rare objects gold rare items and magical objects, and have a sense to let them know when they see them thats why at 8:30 the dragon notices the items the intruders are wearing and knows they are though opponents by their gear alone
23:00 no worries ains will fight with a propper dragon lord soon maybe in this season .... maybe the platinum dragon lord we saw in season 3 ep 1 ..... so stay tunned
Just a non spoiler warning for next ep. The next ep is after the holy kingdom. So they skipped 2 novels(6 or 7 eps) and gonna make it a movie. So there will be stuff they will bring up from the holykingdom that hasnt happened in the anime. Like "facless" and food transport for example.
Also, depending on which translation you get for the anime, some of the subtitles are mistranslated. They may refer to the holy kingdom as the theocracy which can be a little confusing in the context of the show.
@Jagent lol I was so confused when they brought up the transport to the theocracy. But I can see the difficulties with translation bc both have holy meaning so they where prob using the known country that already appeared in the anime.
Some little inside about some scenes that don't get much mention 🧐🍹 4:50 The Qua-Goa did not accept the food because although he was hungry and thirsty (he run all the way from the battle scene to the leader) he knew that a possibilite war might be coming. So with a war close by, it's best for the leader to be in a better shape (he's actually the strongest) then the rest of them and also because they fallow the saying "don't spit the hand that feeds you".
There is a lot of opinion in the fandom about how stupid Ainz really is. I disagree, he is an extremely smart and experienced player able to anticipate and quickly adapt to the situation. Yes, his human personality is not the god-level genius mastermind that NPCs make him out to be. But here comes my personal opinion: This world is very much based on DnD where magic, mana, and the number of spells depend on intelligence. For me, when Satoru (Human Form) moved to the New World he stopped being human and took on all aspects of his character as a powerful Overlord of Death. With them, everything that comes with level 100. So I believe that Ainz's luck is actually his subconscious/with the genius of his character.
from aura and shaltier's point of view they gave them a chance to surrender. dont forget they have zero empaty towards non nazariciance. its like talking to slightly above average inteligence insects, thers'e no reason to waste time or effort explaining that wich should be obvious.
to see the missing bridge, realize there'd be no reason to cut it down if they could kill death kinghts, and STILL think someone did...speaks volumes about his fear of other players.
A little Intel about Ainz (not important) 12:25 Grasp Hearth is Ainz favorite spell since he can end a fight instantly while reserving his MP (magic points) for the next battle.
at 10:36 aura uses her skill of intimidation much like ains aura of despair did with hamsuke the king of the forst and scares the dragon into submitting to aura somuch so he wets himself in fear
something else. Shalltear was the FIRST guardian an attacking force would encounter. makes it less of a question why the lower levels were so unbothered. :P
The item that Aura used is a world item that creates a dimension... if you scape the item will leave the owner and become yours so no one can scape the trial.
The scroll that was opened was the world item "depiction of nature and society". It traps the targets in an area, there are different areas to choose from. The harder the area is to survive the more exits exist and the easier the area is there will be fewer exits. If you can find an exit and escape the world item will become yours. This is how it came into Nazareks possession. Aura and Sheltear placed the ninjas at the exits so that no one could escape.
You didn't expect it, but its exactly what they did with the lizardmen tribes (culling the population down). They kept a small population that was balanced for repopulation, that they could completely indoctrinate into the ways of Nazarick Edit: Yes, Ainz absolutely would've wanted that. It's his tactic specifically after all.
This is where it gets crazy You better prepare yourself. I also recommend watching Saga of Tanya The evil. Not gonna say much about it but it’s amazing
Poor Ainz nothing is going on what he wanted, first he wanted to kill all the frost dragons so he can make runecraft armor and weapons for his adventure guild, second it's to show that he can make mistakes despite being an Overlord/Supreme Being with the Death Knight and finally how the Quagoa submit to them since Pe Riyuro was okay with submitting to them and just wanted them to show that they are strong since the whole clan is there to see them and will not simply accept to submit to 2 people like that. Also anime deny Shaltear and Guagoa fight, normally 4k male and 4k female Guagoa kill all kids until they reach 2k they force them to stay and Pe Riyuro can hear the cry of children being killed while watching all the Quagoa he is forced to send to be wiped out by Shaltear.
It's actually a "False" Dragon Lord. 😅 Poor Quagoa they don't leave the cave lol and don't know the power of Nazarick/Sorcerer Kingdom. Probably the Dwarf Kingdom too, that's why they shocked when Ainz come to talk. 😂
It is unfortunate that they just culled the Quagoa there immediately without letting them know of the power disparity between them. Because I also think that usually you show off your power AND then clap people who still doesn't get it like that one dragon. But here it was either submit immediately or cull, both Aura and Shalltear just didn't care enough to give these Quagoa a heads up, which I too was pretty hung up on when I first read it but after thinking about it some more it does fit for them to not really care about life in general and whatever race you may be, you either submit or (if your lucky) regret the fact you didn't do that immediately.
17:19 whats really brutal is that they had to kill their own children till there were only 2000 again this could have all been avoided if ains had given them better instructions on what to say like telling them they are stronger than the frost dragons or that they had already defeated the dragons
the 8 greed kings> these players appeared about 200 years after the 6 gods appear 600 years ago every 200 or 100 years players appear and greatly affect the new world the 6 gods created the slane theocracy and made a safe place for humans to live, the 8 greed kinds used a world item so that new world people could use tier magic
I agree that the conflict with the dragons was resolved too easily. It's a flaw in an otherwise great arc. That said, I liked the way the dragons were used in the books in a future arc. It's a minor thing, but I wish it made it into the anime.
why Ainz OP? have very powerfull skill? - maybe have very powerfull item? - maybe have very powerfull subordinates? - maybe have very high Luck? - absolutely yes, that makes what ever he do become correct in other people mind, mostly his subordinates. LOL
To be fair, Grasp Heart is a Ninth-Tier spell, so its considerable overkill for a world where most stuff is not even sixth-tier. So you could have gotten that duel if the Ainz wasn't so powerful. Plus, as far as Dragon Lords are concerned, this wasn't that strong of one. The dragons have various levels of power, so just because its a dragon, doesn't mean its that strong.
No no No no referee. Nip THAT in the bud right now .... we can't let anyone start thinking of that as Any kind of acceptable excitable affectionate greeting ritual. ( Even if it is already one of Shalltear's preset kinks)
This is overlord dont expect some tense fight scene in every episode, always one spell = dead, one punch = dead 🤣, nazarick is the top tier on this new world, only vs. shalltear make ainz serious.
The reason Ainz was testing the Dragon's strength with grasp heart was because if you're a high enough lvl it only stuns you and Aura's breath is like aura of despair

im going to keep the following as vague as possible to minimise spoilers: later on the dragons are used to deploy some "interesting" tactics the funniest of which was shalltear's idea

Here I leave you some fragments of the novel:
[Riyuro gave voice to a mighty cry.
“What, what the, what the hell is that?!”
Riyuro did not even have the strength to answer his advisor’s mournful cry. His thoughts merely leaked out through his mouth in the form of words.
“This many…”
“¡Clan Lord! ¿What is that!? ¡It’s nothing like the Golems we saw before!”
They smashed away every single Quagoa charging them in a single blow. This was no longer a battle. It was not even a massacre. It was simply disposal. The comrades he had gathered to increase their influence were now being mangled up in vast quantities like so much rubbish.
“¡We, we have to run!”
“¡¿Where will you run to?!”
He shouted at his panicked aides.
“¡¿Where can you run to in this strange dimension?! ¡These people said they’re going to kill us until there’s only 10’000 of us left!”
His aides had nothing to say]
The funniest part is at the end, when Ainz makes the mistake of thinking out loud.
In the novel when demiurge asked Ainz how far ahead he has planned Ainz immediately thinks “not even tomorrow”
Nice timing, I just finish my work and when I open my TH-cam to relax this shows up love it
Ikr, I was just checking his channel to see if he posted a new Overlord yet, and I see it posted 7 minutes ago. Perfect timing.
A little Intel about the chunky dragon 🐲.
12:58
He was bully by all of the dragons because he was the only one that actually like lecture and the other female dragons (except for his birt mother) did nothing about it.
So when Ainz ask him about who his mother was, he only wanted to point out his birt mother and let the others die.
But he is actually more compassionate and decided not to do that, also because he wanted the other two dragons to own him a favor.
Comment section short discussion in the beginning of the video was great addition 💎 Cant wait to hear more of those
Hejinmal is the first character (I believe) to recognize Ainz's race. Not just and Undead, but an Elder Lich.
Love the comment reading at the start! I hope it is continues in future videos!
6:23
The Qua-Goa leader (red/orange one) actually knew the dragons would ask for more money💰, so he purposely brought that amount.
1:09
I love it when TH-camrs do this, why? Because not many do this.
Is just something really awesome not just because the TH-camr gives a little shout-out to his community but also because there is that trill of "I might be the next comment he reads".
Thanks for another awesome video GAZ, you are cool 😎👍
I really appreciate the comment reading, it definitely makes the video feel more interactive and enjoyable than it already was
I like the comment reading at the beginning of the vid! Great idea. Although, make sure you’re not getting spoiled haha
The last arc of this season is my favourite. So many hype scenes coming up and the ending is fantastic!
It is!
Minus the Disney part that was completely fabricated almost at the very end xD
@@qebron HUH? that was the best part!
@@KishkaTonka My novel purist self can't help but disagree :S
Let me elaborate.
The time that was spent on implementing a scene wich did not exist in the novel could have been better spent.
I'm sure they could have pulled something from the huge pile of cut content, if it was a matter of filling out time that is.
The Quagoa leader really tried to reason with them... "You have to understand, there are a lot of us... we can't just submit without a good reason."
another fun fact: hejinmal's heart literally skipprd a beat when aura made him submit
7:58 ~ should have popped in a quick 2 sec clip of editor GazMASH with glasses heh
😂
19:50 ains has to always act like an overlord and since he cant sleep or rest this is a huge mental strain on him so he was actually glad he would be seen as someone who can make mistakes so he was going to come clean but sadly they mistakenly thought it was part of his plan and he now has to keep pretending and acting 24/7
50 lvl diff, yeah, this is how a duel goes. Lol.
18:07
You are right, the Ainz from season 1 up to season 2 would not want that, but as time goes on Ainz mind set is becoming more of an undead and his humanity is slowly draining away from him.
In conclusion 🧐🍸, he is becoming more like his own species (Elder Litch) while his human nature is banishing
dragons love rare objects gold rare items and magical objects, and have a sense to let them know when they see them thats why at 8:30 the dragon notices the items the intruders are wearing and knows they are though opponents by their gear alone
oh dont worry, there WILL be a few fight scenes this season
23:00 no worries ains will fight with a propper dragon lord soon maybe in this season .... maybe the platinum dragon lord we saw in season 3 ep 1 ..... so stay tunned
7:55
Damn he thick.
But seriously he is actually a chunky dragon🐉, I love it.
9:50
Yes, chunky dragon, he seams so huggable
I want snuggle with it
Whats funny is how these vicious, purely evil beings are so easily able to look for the best possible reasons to explain Ainz's screwups :)
Some little inside about some scenes that don't get much mention 🧐🍹
4:50
The Qua-Goa did not accept the food because although he was hungry and thirsty (he run all the way from the battle scene to the leader) he knew that a possibilite war might be coming.
But here comes my personal opinion:
This world is very much based on DnD where magic, mana, and the number of spells depend on intelligence.
A little Intel about Ainz (not important)
12:25
Grasp Hearth is Ainz favorite spell since he can end a fight instantly while reserving his MP (magic points) for the next battle.
at 10:36 aura uses her skill of intimidation much like ains aura of despair did with hamsuke the king of the forst and scares the dragon into submitting to aura somuch so he wets himself in fear
something else.
Haha yess i've been waiting
Do you know in the First you can See all His friends?
You didn't expect it, but its exactly what they did with the lizardmen tribes (culling the population down). They kept a small population that was balanced for repopulation, that they could completely indoctrinate into the ways of Nazarick
Edit: Yes, Ainz absolutely would've wanted that.
Also anime deny Shaltear and Guagoa fight, normally 4k male and 4k female Guagoa kill all kids until they reach 2k they force them to stay and Pe Riyuro can hear the cry of children being killed while watching all the Quagoa he is forced to send to be wiped out by Shaltear.
ains wanted more dragon corpses cos every part of a dragon can be used to make all sort of cool things weapons armor items potions and such
People tell me Shalltear is meant to be scary but I just found her absolutely adorable lol 😂
It's actually a "False" Dragon Lord. 😅 Poor Quagoa they don't leave the cave lol and don't know the power of Nazarick/Sorcerer Kingdom. Probably the Dwarf Kingdom too, that's why they shocked when Ainz come to talk. 😂
The perfect poker face 😂
ending lol
It is unfortunate that they just culled the Quagoa there immediately without letting them know of the power disparity between them. Because I also think that usually you show off your power AND then clap people who still doesn't get it like that one dragon. But here it was either submit immediately or cull, both Aura and Shalltear just didn't care enough to give these Quagoa a heads up, which I too was pretty hung up on when I first read it but after thinking about it some more it does fit for them to not really care about life in general and whatever race you may be, you either submit or (if your lucky) regret the fact you didn't do that immediately.
in LN only one illustration of the massacre, but it is much better than the scene in the anime shows the situation
- maybe
have very powerfull item?
- maybe
have very powerfull subordinates?
- maybe
have very high Luck?
- absolutely yes, that makes what ever he do become correct in other people mind, mostly his subordinates. LOL
they must of fixed the translation error in the subtitles now
To be fair, Grasp Heart is a Ninth-Tier spell, so its considerable overkill for a world where most stuff is not even sixth-tier.
NoicE
fun fact: white dragons are considered to be the weakest dragon type
20.35 min...sweet???? shalltear killed 50.000 Quagoa :( ....:)
If someone sound like demon and his clothing looks like it cost 1mil $ I recommand not fighting him.
