    I 100% swear by this strategy. A great jumping off point if you are looking to build your network of expertise, start with some thought leadership pieces. It's a quick and easy win-win, and brings awareness to both your brand and your partner's.

    Thank you for this great video. Some people are scared of getting into partnership cause they don't want to share their company which I think it's not a good way of thinking.

    Great points to consider Phillip, your suggestions are even suitable for short term joint venture partnerships and collaborations. 😀

    More great tips Philip! I work by myself from my home office in a small town - building professional networks nationwide is essential not only to maintain my clients but my own sanity! My industry colleagues are the workmates I left behind when I went out on my own!

    I am a personal chef and I am wanting to partner with dietitians, doctors, realtors, etc. to get more clients that may use my services. I am a naturally shy person, so reaching out is not my strongest suite, but I hope to get with these people to elevate Joyful Foods to the next level. Thank you! Do you suggest writing a letter, email, or calling when reaching out?

    • @PhilipVanDusen
      @PhilipVanDusen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you’re shy- start by sending an email with and article or recipe you think they’d like and tell them why. Give them value 3x like that over 3 weeks then ask for a call or meeting.

    This hits were I feel the most pain. I have been looking for a partner/s for 20 years. Can you make a video about trust issues?
    One of the main mistakes I make I look for people who do what I do not who complement my already existing skills.
    Thank you greatly for this video.

    Hey Phil! These are all great points. I think you covered this thoroughly and I don't think there's anything I can add! There's a really strong and poignant word that for me is super important, and that's integrity. You want to know you can trust the person you're partnering with and being safe in the mindset that they're going to do their part effectively... A+

    • @PhilipVanDusen

    Sadly, The topic of video should be the benefits of having business partnership not "how to build" .. becasue 85% you were only sharing how great is it to partner with someone, I think the main point about finding partner is in the middle for a few minutes only not even one minute. and it seems very simple as everyone knew about that. I wish it will be more indepth and related to how to build and find good one, how to nurture to the point to become partnership.
