(Thanks to everyone who told me how to adjust the steering console in the combine. I recorded all of this weeks videos before I knew how to do that so I'll sort it out for next week)

good video dagger. about your side panel its the soil mod that conflicts with the controls. if u take it out of your mods and start the game u will be able to change the controls in options then put the soil mod back in to mods to continue with the save game. i have had the same problem my self.

I have used that grab in real life a couple of weeks ago, very effective and fun thing to use, great to see it back in the game and in your vids, keep up the good work!
That's is an awesome bail grab. I found it made stacking bales really easy when I used it.
To transport it on the road you would let it hang vertically.

Dagger carrying a bale not far down the road on the grab is realistic
Just wandering!!!! Is it possible to set the extra bail or 2 on top of loading wagon when it is full????
the bale grab is for little bales,its called a flat 8 and how it works is your meant to have a sledge be hide the conventional baler so the bales are in 8's and then you unload them from the sledge
just a suggestion if havent read that is u can turn the straw into chaff by using a silage harvester and then turning it into silage to buy bigger and better machines like the fendt 1050 and can u use more fendt

HI Daggerwin ! to answer your question about how to carry that extra bale ... typically it would be tossed on top of the trailer down the center of the two rows , although it is possible to carry it back home on the grab but mainly at least in American it's done by trailer, also great video again today I really enjoy watching you farm every morning!!

and for the transport of the grab. you put it on top of the bales and keep the two bales locked on
I've seen those type of bale grabs transported on the road by the driver lifting the boom and depressing the grab until it's vertical with the driver having to look through it to drive.
ive downloaded thornton map, put it in mods folder but it wont show up in my career game but it shows up in the mods section in the options menu... helppp

just a tip when I worked on farm we used to stack the bales one layer one way and the next layer the different way it gives it better stability when driving

cool video love the fork i use rhem and how i do it is autostack them then i use that to load a trailer it works really well and i dont like friving on the road with the fully loaded autostacker

Where we live (I don't live in the uk) we don't have to aim the bale spike or the grab down to the ground we just have to have it as low ass possible we can carry bales on the bale spike on the road we have before
On the bale grabber you pick them up one in front of the other on the grabber than side by side

the grab on the JCB would usually be used for flat 8 small square bales. i wouldnt use it for big bales..

Hi Daggerwin, I'm not sure if you know but the grab is called a flat 8 and is used in real life a lot with two big square bales or 8 conventional bales I was thinking maybe you could have a go with conventional bales. But if you we to you would need to use a bale sleigh which puts the bales into 8s.
You should use the jcb and the yellow Marshall trailer for leading bales
you can transport the grab on the road with the boom up in the air saw one the other day

when your transporting bales with that grab you need to tilt it down so it holds the bale
with 187 the bales I think they are on fs you usually stack 4 high

when we go on the roads with the bale grab we put the loader down but pointing upwards
hey daggewin I have already used this imployment in the real world you transport it tilted straight down or you put it on top of the bales on your trailer, grab them and then disconnect but i dont now if it will work with the automatic locking script.
You would tilt the grab in front of you or have it high and flat

dagger you collect the bales from the other way because the grabber is like a trailer hook which grabs the bales robes
the hooks impale the bales rather than gra the ropes
daggerwin I've downloaded some of the tractor pack mods but they are not showing up in the game any ideas wot im doing wrong
you have to unpack the file by dragging the seperate tractors out and putting them in your mod folder one by one

don't u put the bales the other way Daggerwin as it would prevent the gaps in the bales
we have one of them grabs and we use an old jeep to push all the bales together into one big long line and then it is easy and faster to load them
You don't need to wipe your mods folder. Just copy it to another location, then move mods back one at a time until you find the culprit.

When u are only loading a small amount of stuf try an put all of the weight over the axels
Never seen anyone stack like that .... Here they stack 2 bales on top of each other in the field, then they pick them up on the side and stack them on the trailer that way
daggerwin turn the bales long ways when u put them on the for not the way to did it and then u can load from the side of the trailer

Have you ever thought of making separate mod folders for separate farms, just holding the mods needed for the farm you are working on for that day to cure your problem with the Saitek control panel.
Another thing you can try, is note the last time it was working correctly, then list the mod file to the date when you installed them, now cut out all the installs after that date and stick them into a folder on your desktop, then run the game.
If Saitek now works you can carefully sift through the files on your desktop.
I think bales should be paralel with that "limiter" on bale grab so than they would be loaded properly on trailer

You would have the boom up on the air with the grab vertically facing down
Why would you use course play for loading bales? I would only use course play for things that take an hour or more to do. I love stacking bales.

daggerwin you should always bale crops if they can give straw because you need straw for the animals but you could alsosell the bales for money but in my opinion always bale the fields and always keep the bales
